Seafront apartment in historic Three Cities with great views over Grand Harbour

The apartment is licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority (Licence No HPI/6655) in the HFP Comfort 1-2 category.

Not only does the apartment have stunning views of Grand Harbour but is also just a short stroll away from the 12th century Fort St Angelo and the Grand Harbour Marina with its ocean-going superyachts, restaurants, wine bars and Maritime Museum.

As a fully equipped three bedroom family home, the apartment offers a high standard of contemporary, stylish accommodation for holidaymakers seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday on the doorstep of one of Malta’s oldest, most beautiful and historic cities, Birgu.

There is a large, open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room that opens out onto a sea-facing stone balcony with table and chairs.

The large master bedroom has a superking-size bed and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a king size bed and shares a family bathroom with the third bedroom which has twin beds and a door to the internal courtyard. All bedrooms have air-conditioning.

The apartment is fully furnished as a family home rather than a holiday let. Its contemporary style with design classics such as a Le Corbusier chaise longue and Noguchi coffee table is complemented with an eclectic mix of colourful pictures and rugs to provide a vibrant yet relaxing environment.

If you would like our cleaner to clean the apartment during your stay, you can request her to do this and pay her directly.

Airport pick up and key collection: Unless you wish to make your own way from the airport, we can arrange for you to be picked up from the airport (6km from apartment) by our preferred taxi company.

If you wish to hire a car, you can park it in a secure parking space in the outdoor car park adjacent to St Angelo Mansions.

In the apartment, you will find an information pack containing further details about the apartment, Birgu, Maltese tourist attractions, maps and bus timetables.

There is a minimum stay of seven nights between 1 June and 30 September and a minimum stay of five nights for the rest of the year.

Great stay in this apartment. Well equipped, comfortable and clean with a fantastic view. Located in a lovely part of Malta. Lots of character but not too busy. Easy to get to Valletta and plenty of restaurants. Light festival was a bonus.

A fantastic week in Birgu

Well equipped apartment in a fantastic location. It was a joy to walk down the steps and into the sea. Excellent restaurants in easy walking distance and San Angelo fort right on the doorstep is a must see. Only downside was the mini mart in Birgu seemed to be permanently shut.

Easter Stay

Beautiful location, lovely clean apartment. In a location where there are plenty of restaurants with good quality food.Lovely little boats to get to Valetta from the waterfront. Just all round lovely.

Great location

Just loved the location of this comfortable flat from swimming off the tocks outside to visiting Birgu and the short ferry trip to Vallettta. Some trouble finding car park initially but got there in end.

Unrivalled apartment and location but

there must have been some issues on this occasion as the apartment was much dirtier than my own when I haven’t cleaned for a long while. Only floors superficial clean and fresh sheets but otherwise bedding needs throwing out or proper cleaning, generally needed a deep clean but maybe this is because we came out of season.The owner seems very kind and she said the cleaner had an issue, but it couldn’t be better situated.

A Perfect Location for a Relaxing Stay in Malta

This property in Birgu, Malta has a beautiful setting. The ground floor balcony looks across the marina and enjoys views of the Grand Harbour and Valetta in the distance. The accommodation is roomy and as presented in the documentation and is equipped with all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Stunning seaside view

My family with two sons (27 and 18) abdolutely enjoyed our stay at the the wonderful flat. We could take a bath every morning in the sea and enjoy the view of the harbour and valetta. We enjoyed tje fine dining in Valetta, the wonderful nature of Gozo and the market on tuesday in Birgu. We love to cook together and a wonderful tume .

Fabulous stay in lovely Birgu

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. Homely and comfortable, plenty of space for 6. Well equipped throughout including outdoor seating for sitting in the balcony to watch the boats and fireworks. We really enjoyed jumping into the harbour outside the building to swim. Situated in the best place to experience historic Malta, walking distance to lots or great bars and restaurants in Birgu and Kalkara, plus easy to take the boats across to Valletta. We had a fabulous stay and hope to return.

Location, Location, Location

Steps from the water, relax on a beautiful terrace watching the ships pass by and know you are just minutes by water taxi or ferry from the action in Valletta but at home in quiet and serene Birgu. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds, two showers plus a washer and drier. We found Il-Pjazzetta self service close for most groceries. There are lots of excellent restaurants a close walk away. Christiane was always available to answer questions and give advice and she arranged Franklin garage to pick us up at the airport. We also used Franklin for the return trip to the airport as well as a full day long trip to Gozo. We would absolutely return to this property on another trip to Malta.

Fantastic harbour view!

We all loved staying at Christiane's apartment in Birgu. The flat was spotless, and very well equipped especially the kitchen, so much so we tried to guess what we would not find!! A colander! The view from the balcony is fantastic, and we were lucky enough to be there when the fireworks from Valletta were taking place, from row seating!! We would love to go back again sometime and highly recommend, many thanks for letting us stay!

Clean, comfortable and convenient

We absolutely loved this apartment. Very convenient to everything in Birgu. The ferry and water taxi are both within easy walking distance to get to Valletta. The kitchen has whatever pans/dishes you might need. The view is great from the balcony, (just bring the chairs in if it's going to rain, they get pretty dirty). And I should mention the bed in the master bedroom is soft and oh so comfortable😊 If I'm ever back in Malta, this is where I'll stay.

Shockingly beautiful location

I cannot tell you how stunning the view from this apartment is. It's a great location, near to everything but calm. The apartment itself is pretty straightforward, with three good sized bedrooms, washer and dryer, and full sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Two full bathrooms. The whole area is stunning, walking to and from the apartment every day is wonderful. We would happily stay there again anytime!

Lovely stay in Birgu

Lovely property in a brilliant location. Loved being able to swim in the harbour, easy to get to Valletta and lots of local restaurants. Plenty of space for our whole party. Information for the keys clear, just complicated by Ryanair changing flight times as it meant we arrived about 1am which made the process stressful in the dark.

Great Location

Apartment is in a great location! Just outside St Angelo Fort. Quiet but easy access to many restaurants. Easy access to Valletta by boat ferry. Plenty of space for family vacation and all the necessary amenities!

Perfect location

We spent 2 weeks in Christiane's apartment in Birgu. You notice at once that this not simply a holiday rental but a place which is loved and lived in. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is fun to cook what you have found at the markets or the little shops in Birgu. The beds are very comfy -- we couldn't believe how well (and long!) we slept.The flat is large enough to allow everyone "private space". Sitting on the balcony for breakfast is simply perfect. I imagine the balcony in summer is paradise in the evenings. Not necessarily in February especially when you experience a cyclone! The neighbours are friendly. The local shops, bars and restaurants are excellent (as long as you are not expecting huge supermarkets!) The little ferry to Valletta runs every 30 minutes. The fast ferry to Gozo (takes only 45 minutes) and leaves from the terminal where you arrive from Birgu. The bus service is excellent. The location has everything you would wish for and you certainly do not need a car The taxi pick-up by Franklin Garage at the airport which Christiane organised was ideal. All in all we would definitely recommend Christiane's flat.

Outstanding property

Outstanding property & location made for an enjoyable stay. Check in is a little tricky but communication with owner was excellent. Improvement needed with cleanliness.... bed sheets in master bedroom had numerous stains, opened food packages left in fridge and dishwasher found with full load of dishes inside.

Large, cheerful apartment with wonderful views

We enjoyed our stay in this charming and colourful apartment with outstanding views of the harbour. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The owner was very detailed with information about the apartment and was particularly helpful during a crisis that one of our group experienced. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny balcony and a glass of wine after a busy day sightseeing. There are many good restaurants in the area and the boats to Valetta are only a 10 minute walk away. This is a very quiet location.

Birgu stay

The apartment has a fabulous location with stunning views and is very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are lots of books and games for visitors to enjoy. My only “criticism” is that the soft furnishings are looking a little tired, but I believe that this is reflected in the price. If you are looking for pristine luxury without the associated price tag then good luck in your search. If you want a spacious and well located place to stay with a parking space for a family or group of friends then I would highly recommend this apartment.

I lived in Malta until I was 11 - a most wonderful, 'golden' childhood spending most of my time either in or by the sea. I have always retained a very strong emotional tie to this quirky island and we bought our apartment in 2007 to spend time here with our family and friends.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The location is just superb - as soon as I arrive, throw open the front doors and go onto the balcony, I can forget everything else. There is always something to watch in Grand Harbour - from superyachts and super-sized cruise ships to rowing boats and the local luzzu. Even a dolphin or two if you are lucky!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The view - and the access to such a wide variety of places to eat and drink just on the doorstep. In the summer, we also love swimming in the sea just outside the apartment or crossing the creek and making our way round to the sandy bay at Rinella.
