The hosts assisted with any questions, and were so sweet to get rain ponchos during our stay so we can enjoy the trails in the rainy weather. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more.

Amazing location!

Our 4 night stay was great! The house had everything we needed for our stay, and then some. Games, ping pong in the garage, Keurig upstairs, and so much more. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Communication with the hosts was perfect. They were available, but not intrusive.But the best thing of all is the location. Redwood trees in the front yard! The Smith River amazing, and in the summer would be even better I'm sure. Close to so many trails and Crescent City. Yet out of the way enough to feel like you staying in the middle of the Redwoods!

Spring Break getaway

Rene has a wonderful home. The house was fully stock with entertaining activities (indoor and outdoor). Gas BBQ grill was perfect for me to grill up some steaks, and if it wasn't so cold at night we would have made smores that Rene prepared too. And if you like coffee like my wife and I do, well this place has you covered. the master bedroom had a coffee maker so you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning out on the balcony without going down to the kitchen and back up to the room. And in the kitchen, you can use their drip coffee machine or k-cup machine. The kitchen was well lite and had so much space to prep, cook and clean a meal. The front yard has so much space that I both my kids were able to run around and enjoy the beautiful environment. We played cornhole, Ladder toss, frisbee and even had room to long toss a baseball. Rene was a great host.

Although new to Vrbo hosting, we have been hosting friends and family for decades in the Pacific Northwest. When you live in paradise, you get a lot of visitors! Our home is also in the redwood forest ON the Wild and Scenic Smith River just down river from our vacation home. Guests who stay at our home say the same thing: this place is special!

We love to share tips on hiking, kayaking and just enjoying this serene and beautiful spot in the Redwood National and State Parks.

Our summer is spent on the river! Swimming. Kayaking. Floating. In fact, if YOU float or kayak downstream, you may see us with our two German Shepherds out on the water.
It's an everyday event for us. We love it here and hope you will as well.

We LOVE the river life and hope you will, as well.
We provide kayaks, paddles, life vests, picnic basket, beach towels and toys and even a floatie or two for chilling.
