The lanai is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening dinners with the sounds of the ocean in the background. The large primary bedroom is a peaceful retreat, featuring its own sliding glass doors that open directly onto the lanai, and the second bedroom offers privacy and comfort, making this condo perfect for families, couples, or friends traveling together. Located just a short stroll from your door, you'll find the resort's pool, hot tub, and gas BBQ grills, as well as the onsite restaurant, Captain Jack's—perfect for a casual lunch or sunset dinner. Great place to stay, and awesome view of the beach. You’re next to almost anything you need, so unless you want to go somewhere specific, you can spend your days at the resort and walk to places nearby. The down side is in the summer, if you have the AC running the patio is not suitable. The AC blows hot air onto the patio and is usually covered in bird poop as some birds have found a home there. Other than that, great place and would highly recommend anyone visiting Maui to stay here, and specifically room 134!

Loved beautiful view from patio, great for whale watching. One of only a few at the Sands that offers AC, which is a must for us. Appreciated that they had beach chairs and pool noodles in the room. Would have preferred if they provided more than 4 sets of silverware for condo that sleeps 6 and no hot water at kitchen sink.Lastly, we understand that although TV watching isn’t the reason we visit Maui, our stay would have been better if we were able to watch TV/ streaming in living room. WiFi didn’t work in front bedroom, but the rest of the rooms were ok, so at least we were able to watch on iPads etc, but TV would constantly buffer after a few minutes of watching on any app. Very nice area and having restaurant onsite was also great. We would recommend staying here.

Elevator has been INOP and there was zero transparency. I was traveling with 6 of us including 4 kids staying for 9 days I feel like they were quiet about it for a reason. Could have easily booked somewhere else in Sands. This particular unit has a pigeon problem. The bird dropping are everywhere. So we couldn’t enjoy the back patio and the AC unit is located out there which increases the temp outside by another 10 degrees. Feels like a heater. This is my 3rd time staying at this resort and this unit and experience was unfortunately the worse. I’d ask the right questions and hopefully this same experience can be avoided by you.

Beautiful location. The condo is huge, beautiful, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. We appreciated the A/C because my husband has health problems, but the only down part of the A/C was that the exhaust system needed to be on the balcony - which made for a warmer outdoor area. So I felt like we gave up the use of the balcony because we needed to keep the A/C on for my husband. But it is a large balcony with a great view of the ocean. We had a full kitchen and there were grills available outside. We had an incredible view. Captain Jack's restaurant was excellent - much more than we expected! Across the street was a small market and a few more restaurants - all within walking distance. Property staff were friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and very large - it did not feel cramped even at the busier times of the day. The beach sitting area was a little smaller than expected, but still wonderful. We would gladly come back to stay again. Communication with the rental team was excellent!
