Door locks broken, pictures aren’t the real set up ,host comes in when she wants to, no privacy, tables taped together, money greedy, extra fees , no towels no cleaning supplies she takes that out , communication 6/10, stay was a 3/10 waste of money.

We take review and comment seriously, so we can improve on customer experience. We are in contact with you to know how was you stay, This whole excuse and because You had a party in the house, scattered furniture and being called out as a violations. This seems to be retaliatory.

This home is like pep n tom they have a room on the back of the home and the dude could tell me everything we was doing . No privacy at all I feel so embarrassed and didn’t enjoy my stay

You stole the TV, stole petty things in the house. tampered with the LED light smoked inside the house, and caused damage—and this is the response I’m getting? This is honestly one of the most unreasonable and unacceptable replies

The owner gave wrong code to get in so we wasn’t sure what unit. A vagrant was squatting in one of the units. The other unit had a couple fighting. The building had been egged and not cleaned up. We didn’t feel safe!

the house was not cleaned properly before we arrived the covers and sheets were filthy the walls had dirt spots on them their were nasty old towels on the floor and the rest room counter top

Thank you for the feedback. This was rear incident, It was addressed immediately! and the house has since been thoroughly fumigated. That said, we both understand this complaint seems to stem from a place of retaliation.

Floors were extremely dirty and dish washing machine was full of dirty items, clogged restroom sinks with dirty towels and the house smelled of cannabis. There was overall a lack of household essentials from toiletries to cleaning item. Refrigerator had old items from previous renters. Experience was not up to Vrbo standards

For one the check in process was bad couldn’t get into the house . When I finally got in I wanted to check out the hot tub turns out there is no hot tub which was false advertising. Then the ac was broken half the stay had to wait 3-4 hrs to get it fixed . Then I say around 3-4 a neighbor lied and said there was loud music playing and I was having a party and the host contacted me via messages and basically kicked me out the establishment. I had to “ clean “ every little mess I made but I paid for “ cleaning fee “ . I ended up being kicked out at 4am . The house was nice but false advertising and a very rude host . Thanks to Vrbo I got a full refund tho thanks Vrbo just a bad experience for my first experience with Vrbo .

First in the weeks leading up to my stay it took the host days to respond to messages, including the day I was traveling. The Vrbo emails stated it’s quicker to contact the property manager. In this case one in the same. I was driving from another state and if I hadn’t stopped driving and checked my email I would not have known the access code to enter the house until I got there at 1 am. I repeatedly asked them in the days prior what the check in process was w/no response until I was 2 hours away. When they did finally respond to a message it was a generic reply w/o answering my question. Once there I still had to wait some time for a response to inquiries. Each of the 2 bedrooms had one set of sheets each which were ill fitting, one thin blanket each, no soap, no shampoo & zero towels whatsoever. I had to repeatedly message for these items and after a full day a bag of 2 bottles of body soap and no shampoo, and just two cheap thin dollar store bath towels was left w/o notifying me. No hand towels or wash clothes at all. The fridge & freezer had items from previous guests in it, the rugs were stained and dirty looking and the general cleanliness of the house seemed seedy at best. The locks on the doors were loose and dangling and difficult to lock and the towel racks in one bathroom were dangling off the wall and the 2nd bathroom had no mirror. All in all I would be ashamed if I was a host of this caliber. Truly money wasted. I would have been better off at a Motel 6.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to respectfully clarify a few points, as some of the statements made do not accurately reflect what occurred. For smoother communication, I had requested a phone number, which was declined. While I understand that preference, it did make real-time coordination more difficult than necessary. Regarding check-in, instructions are typically shared on the day of arrival for security and operational reasons. However, there was repeated pressure to receive these details earlier than our standard process allows. As for the amenities, towels and toiletries were provided store in the cabinet. You never checked and clearly indicated in the instructions. Despite this, concerns were raised, and we still made every effort to accommodate your requests promptly, even where the provided guidance had not been followed. We remain committed to providing a positive experience for all guests and appreciate the opportunity to clarify these matters.

BUGS!! gunshots!! — fixtures were hanging off the walls which are not shown in the photos. the house is also not in the best area which i tried to excuse but we heard gunshots like just a COUPLE houses down the road 2 nights in a row. these the nicest houses on the street btw…probably in the whole neighborhood. there were no cleaning supplies accessible for me to clean whatever residue was on the toilet seat. the host even tried to say i put it there as if i hadn’t only asked to clean it lol. told me to there were paper towels in the kitchen… she eventually brought a cleaner. there were no small towels before i asked. i also asked for fresh big towels because the ones supplied felt stale. there were ants in the bathroom. i saw a few roaches (babies and adults) and i even killed a spider. the walls had stains and scuffs and the furniture had stains as well. the drawers are dirty inside. ; and i’m pretty sure they live inside the home which is not announced prior to. as we were checking out, some guy came out the side of the house and went through the front door with clothes and a towel. i was trying to make the best of the situation and ignore things and then it was something else and then another. overall, wouldn’t stay again. the home is cute but at what cost..

They don’t tell you that area on the side of the house that they are renting out and also u literally hear everything that they are doin and also they can hear Anything ur doin there is literally no privacy wat so ever and then he cancelled my stay accused me of smokin I begged him to come and look and see he didn’t want to he instantly cancelled but I can say he did end up letting me stay u can’t even have the 6 visitors he approve because he instantly assume there’s a party and tries to kick u it . All thought it was clean up to par let’s say and also he had fire ants I honestly don’t recommend this property because if he cancel ur reservation u get no money back this place is a hell no but the area was ok ..

You rented the property for a weekend and repeatedly violated the house rules, including smoking and throwing parties that resulted in the police showing up. Despite these violations, I was still fair enough to allow you to complete your stay, even after discovering damage to the walls, frames, and doors. Given what occurred during such a short stay, I would not recommend renting a property to this guest. The disregard for house rules and property damage creates a significant risk for any host. I am not surprise at this vindictive response. I wish you all the best

I wasn’t surprised to read this review. I previously discussed with you the complaint we received from a neighbor regarding smoking and excessive noise coming from the house. Since both smoking and loud noise are strictly prohibited under the house rules, your denial of those activities was not truthful. There were multiple violations during your stay, not just this one. We addressed these concerns while you were in the property, but unfortunately, they continued despite our communication.
