This house was perfect for our family! I came with my husband and 2 toddlers. My parents, my sister and her boyfriend! There was lots of space and room for the kids to run around! The kit he had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for the morning and evening. Great location about a 5 min drive to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot!

Great location, close to beaches, shopping and nearby lobster pound. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of entertaining space including large deck with ocean views.

Could Use a More Accurate Description

The pluses are that it’s a great location relative to Kennebunkportee and Ogunquit, and Rick was a gracious and helpful host. But, here’s stuff you should fairly know: It’s a decent home in a decent location with an ok ocean view from the deck and the living room (if you’re standing at the window). But, the views are framed by a couple of homes and obstructed by a power pole/lines. The thermostat cannot be overridden and is set at 75 (presumably to keep the guests from using AC below that), which was an issue even during a very cool May. The knives were the dullest, by far, of any short term rental I’ve ever been in (and that’s quite a few), with only a single cutting board to choose from. The pans are not non-stick. The living room furniture is covered with bunched-up, cheap looking covers, which are presumably more for protection of the furniture than the comfort of the guests. There is no option for playing music. The listing says they don’t provide linens or towels, which is correct. What it doesn’t say is that there are also zero hand towels or dish towels in the house, just paper towels everywhere, which we found wasteful and annoying. There is no full length mirror anywhere in the house - very unpopular with the ladies. Finally the fridge door not only doesn’t close on its own, it actually resists closing - also very annoying. The bottom line for us was that it was a decent place but the price we paid wasn’t consistent with the listing or amenities.

Family Trip

We went with 7 adults, the location was great and we really enjoyed the house especially the openness of the living room, dining area and Kitchen. This house is definitely a keeper for another visit!!

Beautiful home in a wonderful location at Moody Point! We own the house across the street and used this house to accommodate our whole family who came to visit for a week! It was perfect for all our needs. Loved watching the seals from the deck!

Ideal location and perfect property for our family vacation.

Property exceeded our expectations. Property is located a short drive from the best Maine resort towns and beaches. Gourmet kitchen is well laid our and with great spppliances and utensils. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms passed my wife’s demanding specifications. The 3 becks and porch were great for enjoying the ocean views. We would definitely return for another family vacation.

Summer V

This was the 5th summer our family stayed at Rick's place. Next year we are renting it for 2 weeks. Think that says enough. Perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, etc., but in a very peaceful, relaxing area.

Slice of Heaven

We have been renting in Ogunquit/Wells area for over 20 years & Rick's Home is by far the best. You have views & sounds of the ocean. The house was clean & had everything we needed for our stay. Rick was wonderful & answers quickly when I reached out. We loved it so much that we already booked again.

Nearly perfect

Clean, well appointed, very close to ocean/beaches. Owner very responsive and helpful! A great home base for our family of four adults. Ocean view from property was obstructed and not as we expected from the photos in the listing. This was due to new homes that were added since the photos were taken, one of which was still under construction and quite noisy.

Good Moody

Absolute gem of a house a short walk from Moody beach. Perfect for 2 families of 4. Loved using the porches, listening to the ocean to fall asleep, being woken up by the sunrise and cooking in the top of the line kitchen. This was our first Wells vacation and won’t be our last.
