Exquise maison de cinq chambres pouvant accueillir 10-12 personnes sur une propriĂ©tĂ© au bord du lac, Ă  seulement deux heures au nord de DĂ©troit. Accueil propose 3 salles de bain complĂštes, y compris une baignoire Ă  jets dans le bain invitĂ©. Cette maison possĂšde quatre portes coulissantes en verre donnant sur le lac et un sous-sol avec vue! Restez et profitez de la vue sereine sur le lac depuis le pont ou depuis la promenade de 60 pieds au bord de l'eau. C'est un excellent endroit pour obtenir des temps d'arrĂȘt bien mĂ©ritĂ©s, se dĂ©tendre et rĂ©gĂ©nĂ©rer votre niveau d'Ă©nergie. Great space for a larger group!

My large family stayed at this beautiful home and had a wonderful time! The weather was very hot so it made us appreciate the water and the outside space even more. The neighbors on the end of the cove were not there during the week of our stay, so it felt very private as we tied our rafts to the dock just to float in cove area. There were a few minor things we noticed (screens on the doors were slightly torn and housecleaning could have been better as we found cobwebs in some of the rooms and crumbs around/in furniture) but I brought to Renee's attention--she responded in a timely manner and I'm sure those things will be addressed. Renee made the whole process easy and was quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed evening bonfires, but the yard does have quite a slope, so it was not the easiest for my elderly parents to come down to that area. We spent a day tubing down the Rifle River and another day went into West Branch to the outlet mall. This home allowed us to all gather together and have such a nice family vacation. I would definitely recommend.

PERFECT

This was an amazing place for our girls weekend!! The location and size of the home was perfect and accommodated all our needs. The open floor plan makes it easy to have a larger group to entertain and watch movies, etc. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us, we are hoping to make this our annual spot!

Excellent Home!

We had an amazing time! The house is beautiful and the views were even better. The beach was extremely spacious and close. Everything you could imagine needing on a weekend away was easily accessible. Overall this property was the perfect location to relax and enjoy the lake. We would highly recommend this home to others and hope to be back again next summer!

Beautiful house perfectly set up for multiple families.

We had a great time during our week at the Red Anchor Retreat. The lake was so quiet, without the usual boating traffic we are used to. The girls had a great time swimming and kayaking from the dock. Beautiful evenings spent around the fire pit enjoying smores. Conveniently located 15 minutes away from Westbranch for shopping. We took a day trip to Tawas and Lake Huron, only 45 minutes away. And did I mention how important having 3 baths are when there are 3 teenage girls in your group?

Clean, comfortable, roomy with a great view of the lake.

The association beach is beautiful and well maintained. Easy drive in and out of the neighborhood with paved streets. We brought bicycles with us. Easy day trip to Mackinaw, East Tawas and surrounding areas. The home is neat and clean. Plenty of kitchen supplies to eat at home with the family. Owner was responsive to questions throughout our trip. I would highly recommend and I would stay here again - without question!

Beautiful home! We loved all of the bedrooms and that each floor had its own bathroom and shower which made going with a lot of people very easy. So many fun things to do close by- Whites for tubing and so many others! Highly recommend this property for a great getaway

Great Family Vacation

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we wanted. We enjoyed, kayaking, fishing off the dock and taking long walks on the quiet streets. The owner was great to work with and quick to respond to any question. Loved our vacation.

Absolutely Love this place

I absolutely Love this house. Very peaceful property and lake. The lake is clean. and so is the house. I've stayed here many times. It's great for girls trips and couples. Last time we stayed here I brought a huge raft and we floated around the lake on it. Whites Canoe Livery is a short drive and we rented tubes and floated down the river for the day. Just a short drive for a few different restaurants in case you want to eat out. Less then a 25 minute drive to West Branch if you want to do some shopping. The owners are very nice and easy to book reservations with.

My husband and I bought the waterfront property in 2003 and built the home shortly after. We have enjoyed the projects and many weekends relaxing on the lake with our family and friends. Our boys are now 9 & 10 years old and have known our little cottage as our 'home away' from home all their lives. Catching frogs, kayaking, swimming, fishing, boating are their favorite activities. We enjoy entertaining as you will see when you stay at the Red Anchor Retreat that it is very accommodating. My favorite part of the Red Anchor Retreat? Early morning views of the lake, with the fog rolling off the still lake. I love to sit and watch the birds, listen to the calmness. It's very peaceful!

When my husband and I were looking for a cottage, we knew we needed one that wasn't a days drive away from our home. Being only 2 hours from the Detroit area makes it easy to visit more often! We love the amenities of Forest Lake, including two private beaches with restrooms, BBQ's grill, playscape and a beach volleyball court. We enjoy having a small park just a quick walk down the street for the kids. When they were little it was a short walk in the stroller to get to the swings. As our boys have grown, they now explore in the woods, catching frogs in the shallow creek that runs behind the nearby park or crossing over the bridge to the peninsula that jets out into the lake. I love the lake community, but also that quietness of the woods. The home is situated on a quiet street with very little traffic. We ride bikes, take walks and just enjoy the yard with sprinkler fun or games.

The home caters to multiple families. As stated, we love entertaining and the home is a perfect set up to do so. The home has 2 bedrooms on the upper level, 1 bedroom on the main and 2 bedrooms on the lower level, each floor accompanied with a full bathroom. The upper bathroom is equipped with a jetted tub. The kitchen, dining and main living area with stone fireplace, opens to the 14x24 deck facing the lake.

There are also two kayaks (one adult, one child) for use on the lake.
