私はこの1920年代のコテージを地元の請負業者兼デザイナーとして採用し、スタッズに持ち込み、快適さとスタイルの2017年の標準に戻しました。 私は壁とアーチ型の天井を取り除いて、これをオープンフロアプランの非常に明るいスペースにしました。 キッチン/グレートルームは約500フィート2で、朝食バー、4人用のダイニングテーブル、5人用の快適な座席を備えています。デンの55インチテレビと寝室の40インチテレビ。

What a cute little spot for our trip to Memphifest, this cute little cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was located in the historic district , but close to everything.Wonderful weekend.

This is a separate guest cottage behind someone’s house in Midtown Memphis. The location is convenient if you need to be in Midtown or downtown. The host was pleasant and communicated well. Otherwise, the unit was in need of attention. The air conditioner did not work and only blew out warm air all night. I couldn’t get the temperature to drop a single degree all night, and it remained very stuffy and difficult to sleep. When I went to try and open the windows to get air to circulate, I found that they were painted shut in the master bedroom. I was so uncomfortable sleeping there that first night that I actually left and got a hotel for my second night in town. I don’t believe the unit had likely been used in some time as when I turned the water on in the bathroom it was a pretty long run of brown, dirty water mixed with air before clear water began to run. the shower and bathtub is old and rusted. Don’t think I would stay here again.

Historic neighborhood

Ben was responsive prior to our trip and gave great recommendations for local music, the Historic Lafayette’s music room was outstanding. The space was just as described and very comfortable for our extended weekend getaway.

Great location and wonderful place to stay!

The blue cottage is so close to everything in the hip Cooper-Young district and not too far from downtown Memphis either! We took the bus or Uber to most of the sites and there is way too many good food places locally or downtown! Tru to got all the places on the bathroom artwork!

Blue Cottage

Check in was seamless. Cottage was just perfect for the 2 of us. Bed was very comfy and linens were hotel grade. Plenty of storage for the weekend. Will definitely stay again when we come to Memphis.

I loved this location in Memphis. It is in a historic neighborhood that is great for walking/running. Close enough to get around via car with a few good places in walking distance.

Cozy, quiet, cute house!

The house was just as described. It was a short drive to Graceland and Beale Street. The house is clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Ben was responsive to any questions I had, and neighborhood seems safe. We would definitely stay there again.

Blue Door Cottage- perfect fit

Blue Door- excellent with no issues. Has all the amenities needed for a business stay. Nice to have coffee and bfast relaxing before the work day. Property clean, good wifi, full kitchen w/ all accessories needed. I do recommend.

Nice place in quiet neighborhood

My second time staying here. I like that it is in a residential neighborhood, so quiet and safe. But still an easy drive/Uber to many restaurants, downtown, zoo. etc. Full kitchen and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to an issue that came up the first time I stayed here.

The owner responded promptly to the problems I found. It is undergoing a messy landscaping project right now. Could use a bit of an update. The yard had an old rug and other litter lying around.

Responsive Owner but Rental Needs Maintenance

The check in process was super easy as was finding the property. We did have an overall negative experience with this rental. The house has water damage (stains on ceilings and walls, musty odor) and pests (ants and slugs.) Additionally the bath tub was rusty and there were stains on the mattress. There where positives it was a quick walk to multiple nice restaurants, and we liked the tv setup in both the bedroom and living room. Initially we were determined not to let the negatives spoil our trip but after having a slug crawl on the kitchen counter we decided to cut our trip short. Ben, the property owner, was very responsive and apologetic. We were immediately refunded for the balance of the time we didn't stay. I was on the fence about leaving a harsh review but our stay wasn't what we expected and I felt we should be transparent for other folks booking the rental. I hope the issues are addressed for the next guest.

Walking in Memphis

The cottage was very clean and in a great location. It looked just like the pictures. We had an SUV and it was a little difficult to park in the driveway.
