Tranquil cottage right on the water and close to town!

We really enjoyed the cottage and its many amenities. We really loved the hot tub and loved the view, girl, and fire pit area. The cottage is very well decorated and quaint. The live-edge countertop on the island is super cool. We loved it!

Why they chose this property

Five private waterfront cottages on the St. Lawrence River — each one designed to make you forget you have anywhere else to be.
Watermark offers something increasingly rare: genuine waterfront seclusion with the comfort of a luxury property. No shared lobbies, no neighbours at the next table — just your cottage, your deck, and the river.
Every cottage has its own private hot tub, fire pit, and deck with gas BBQ. Inside: granite kitchens, electric fireplaces, premium bedding, and thoughtful details that make a rental feel like a retreat. Each cottage is distinct — different layouts, different views, different moods — so whether you're two people or a larger group, there's one that fits.
Dock your boat steps from your door, paddle out at sunrise, swim from the private dock, or sit on the deck and watch the river move. Gananoque — restaurants, shops, Thousand Islands boat tours — is ten minutes away.
Why Watermark?

Some things you shouldn't have to wonder about on vacation. Every tap is UV-filtered and safe to drink. Fridge dispenses filtered water and ice. Our septic system represents a $160,000 investment engineered to protect the St. Lawrence. We recycle everything — bottles and cans go to the local SPCA.
The river is the reason Watermark exists. We intend to keep it worth coming back to.
Pets welcome.

What makes this property unique

Private hot tub — off the master bedroom, accessible through your own patio door. Soak under the stars or ease into the morning before anyone else is moving.
Direct waterfront access — swim from the dock, launch a kayak, or tie up your boat steps from your door. The river is yours for the duration.
Thoughtfully designed interiors — open-concept layout, cathedral ceilings, large windows, and a granite kitchen built for real cooking, not just coffee.
Deck with gas BBQ — face the river, seat the group, and let someone else do the dishes.
Fire pit — just steps from the deck. Firewood provided.
Pet-friendly — bring them. We mean it.
Ten minutes to Gananoque — restaurants, shops, and boat tours into the Thousand Islands when you're ready for them.
