Buenos recuerdos le esperan en este nuevo pintoresco refugio frente al lago en el Gran Lago Sacandaga en Mayfield, NY.

Situado aproximadamente una hora al noroeste de Albany, Nueva York. Disfrutar de bellos amaneceres y tranquilas en la amplia terraza con vistas al lago cristalino y la estrella tardes llenas alrededor de la fogata.

Esta residencia durante todo el año totalmente amueblado cuenta con una espectacular vista panorámica del lago de su gran sala grande con chimenea de gas. Con 4 dormitorios y 3 cuartos de baño, hay un montón de espacio para la familia y / o amigos para compartir la mejor escapada juntos.

We had a wonderful stay at this Mayfield lake house. The home was very well appointed, exceptionally clean, and stocked with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit.The views were beautiful, and the lakefront location was excellent — peaceful, scenic, and convenient. Everything was exactly as described, and the home made it easy to truly enjoy our time away.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lake getaway.

Week on the lake

The house was very well maintained and had everything we needed. The property manager was very communicative and replied promptly to texts. The neighbors were also very friendly.

Awesome House on Lake

Two families stayed here (2 couples, 4 kids). Plenty of space. House had everything you could need. Including dock and mooring buoy. Quick drive to ice cream and distillery. Awesome vacation if you are looking to get away!

Amazing rental property for family fun on the lake.

The rental property was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house was updated and furnished with high end appliances and furniture. There was ample space for two families to hang out together comfortably on both levels. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and clean. The property manager John was super attentive and was available to help at a moment's notice. The lake was great for swimming and kayaking and provided beautiful scenery for our stay. We really enjoyed our week staying at this wonderful property.

GSL Family Vacation

Absolutely perfect Lake Vacation We come up to the lake every year and this house and location was the best yet ! House is beautiful and comfortably accommodated 6 Adults and 5 Kids 10-3y/o. We brought our boat , SUPs a kayak and had a blast down at the lake . The kids are already talking about next year and everyone agrees that this house fit all out expectations and more ! So many memories made for my family at a place that has been a part of my family history and holds a special place in my heart . So grateful for this time Thank you John W for your a availability and help though out our planning , arrival and departure and for John G and family for sharing your beautiful house with my family.

Beautiful home and views! Wonderful host!

We truly enjoyed our 2-week stay in this lovely home. It was clean and very-well stocked with just about everything we could have wanted. Thoughtful touches we appreciated were bottles of hand soap at each sink, loads of toilet paper and paper towels, and extra towels and blankets. We cooked for 12 several times (friends joined us for dinner) and found all the cooking tools we needed. John was very communicative (but not at all obtrusive) and responded quickly when we had questions. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it and my sister’s family’s boat easily. The kids enjoyed the games and the fire pit. The only thing keeping us from returning is the steep slope of the property, and that only because one family member has mobility challenges. Highly recommended!

perfect fall vacation!

We just came home from one of our BEST vrbo rentals! The house is beautiful and is supplied with so many extra things that made our stay perfect! John was a great host. Great family vacation

The place was perfect. Very clean well stocked with everything you will need. We had 6 adults and 3 children (ages 1-5) plenty of room for everyone. Outstanding views. We had so much fun on the lake. John the host was great we will definitely be staying there again!!!

Beautiful lake home

The house is perfect, extremely clean and is stocked with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. All the furniture is very comfortable and the view of the lake is beautiful. The lake is also very clean and great for swimming, kayaking or just relaxing on a float. I enjoyed sitting on the dock reading a book. The home is perfectly located for day trips to Lake George and Saratoga. This is a beautiful home, well maintained and we look forward to renting again if in the Sacandaga area. The only thing worth mentioning is that there is a steep hill going down to the lake. We found this to not be an issue but it could be difficult for some

Five Star Annual ADK Vacation

Three generations gathered at this beautiful Peaceful Sunrise Lake Home on The Great Sacandaga. Our host couple (The Giffords) have a cottage next door and John was readily available to answer questions and serve our needs. The home was spotless and filled with amenities that made our stay stress free. We were blessed with lake weather and spent much of our time by the water swimming or cruising the waters on our kayaks and paddle boards. It should be noted that you have to walk down a relatively steep hill & some rocks in order to access the dock. But, it's terrific for building leg muscles! The fire pit is beautifully crafted and comes equipped with plenty of fire wood. Although board games were plentiful, we do recommend the Giffords consider adding a pool, ping pong or foosball table to the lower level in case rainy weather takes hold. If our family decides to vacation in this region of the Adirondacks again, we would not hesitate to rebook Peaceful Sunrise.

Family Vacation

This house was a perfect spot for our family of six adults and two children. The living room and dining area were roomy enough for our gathering and the kitchen was very well-equipped. We didn't even use the basement area TV room but if you had older kids it would be a good area for them to get away. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake access and the fire pit. The kind neighbors even let our kids use their water slide. John, the property manager, is right next door and very helpful. We rented kayaks at nearby Doc's Marina, hiked in Adirondack State Park, took a day trip to Lake George, and just spent time enjoying the property. We all agreed it was a very successful family vacation. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Lake experience

This is a perfect spot for a family or group looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing time at the Lake. The house is immaculate, views are great, and it has plenty of room for our family of 8. John is a helpful and gracious host. Only note: for some, the slope down to the lake is a little steep. It is doable but may be tough for some older guests. But overall, this is a great spot and we look forward to coming back

Best time ever

Everything about this property is top notch. Great views from every room in the house- waking up to those amazing sunrises are a great start to the day. The house itself is gorgeous and super clean. The owners are very nice people- we didn’t see them too much- but it was nice to know that the were around in case we needed them. The waterfront was perfect, the dock worked out great for our 22’ boat, kayaks and for fishing and swimming. We have rented many houses on the lake over the years, but we all agreed that this one was the best.

Fantastic Family Vacation

This property is exactly as described. Spectacular views, spacious, clean house, and pristine water. John was there when we arrived to give us a very thorough introduction to the house and the area. He was incredibly friendly answering all the questions from my two inquisitive children and very informative as we have never been to the area/lake. My family, including my two energetic children, spent the week boating, kayaking, and jumping off the dock into the lake. The fire pit was a hit for my family as my children spent nights making s'mores around the campfire. The house was immaculate. The owner lives in the property next door and is available if needed (which was not the case). You can tell that John and his family take great pride in ensuring their guests have the best stay possible. We are planning to come back; the area is gorgeous!

Relaxing retreat

We stayed for a week and had a great time at this beautiful home. This spotless home is even nicer in person than the pictures posted online. The furnishings were very comfortable and seemed brand new. We did day trips to Gore Mountain, Bolton Landing, and Saratoga Springs. Waking up each morning to lakefront views was the icing on the cake. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend it.

Priceless Views

This property was very impressive! From when you first step in the door and see the views from inside, on the deck, and on the beach it never gets old. All of the amenities were in perfect order. The house had everything you needed and then some. All of the appliances were high end and all in functioning order. Everything was spotless and you could tell the house has been well cared for. John (the owner) was very responsive to questions and very helpful and personable. I asked about firewood for the fire pit and he provided it. I brought my boat and the dock was brand new, mooring available to use as well with easy accessibility. He even offered to use his other dock and beach at his neighboring property which was very nice as we had our 18mo old with us and he tends to roam all over. We have rented a few waterfront places on the lake before, but this one was by far the best one yet! Looking forward to renting this home again!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

The house and property were beautiful. The home was perfect for our family and was well-stocked with all the essentials needed. The lake was great - spent a lot of time swimming, boating, and fishing. We all enjoyed a very relaxing week. Homeowners were very nice and informative. Be aware that the walk to the water is a little steep and you do need to climb down some rocks.

Perfect place to be!!!

You really couldn't ask for more. Beautiful and new home thoughtfully equipped the photos show the home but in person its even better. Sunrises every morning from the couch, deck or lakeside. Our children loved it as much as we did. If you want to make lasting family memories this is the right place! The owners are very nice people, they welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know about the property. We are definitely coming back next year probably this winter too for ice fishing!!!

A great house with a great location

My extended family spent a week here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is just built and is set up perfectly. The first thing you notice is the incredible view of the lake - 26 miles long and 5 miles wide at the house. We rented a boat locally and spent days on the lake exploring the sandy beach islands. We ate outdoors each night on the deck except for the night we took the boat to a restaurant. The owners went all out in setting up the house from the kitchen with a pantry to the master suite with the balcony. Perfectly decorated with everything new. The owners were there when we arrived and explained what we needed to know and were available if you had a problem. My granddaughter left a doll and it arrived at our home within a few days of our return. We will be back. We traveled from northern NJ to get there and it was only 3 hrs away. We were vacation home owners for 20 years and have rented in the Adirondacks before and this house is the best we have seen. One thing worth mentioning is that the hill down to the water could restrict some to accessing the waterfront. My wife and I are in our mid sixties and had no problem going up or down but it would be difficult if you were physically challenged.

Great view, Good for boaters.

We very much enjoyed our stay here, the house has a great layout, master and 2 bedrooms upstairs, with another bedroom/ full bath in the walk out basement. Plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade to relax an enjoy the view. We very much enjoyed the dock to get on and off our 17' bowrider, there was also a mooring and a canoe to keep our boat overnight. House has a closet full of extra items, towels, sheets, pillows, etc. One of our guests forgot their toothbrush and we found one in the box. Thanks for everything John, looking forward to staying again next year.
