About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Everything was nice and well maintained... very cozy little house!

  • 5 of 5

We very much so enjoyed our stay! The town left a little to be desired, as some local businesses had quite the expensive monopoly going for them, but otherwise, the house was great! The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was a great added bonus as well! The local beaches were great too!

Dirty sheets and smells like a wet dog

  • 2 of 5

I responded to the owner regarding my concerns before making this review however it's been three days since and they neglected to address my concerns so I'd say be cautious.

The house itself, is a nice little house. Nothing out of the ordinary and has a nice cozy feel.

The negatives are all due to housekeeping. When we first walked in the place smelt like a wet dog. We arrived rather late so we went to bed shortly after arriving and found that the bed sheets in the lower bunkbed were dirty. There was hair and sand inside the sheets which we ended up washing ourselves in the morning (thank goodness there's washing machines in the house). The track lighting in the kitchen is faulty and will turn on and off at random (provided the switch is turned on). Finally the fridge is leaking liquid. Although the temperature is set rather warm it seems everything is freezing inside of it. Not sure if that was the cause but we had a small puddle from the fridge along the floor the entire trip.

Overall, this could be a nice vacation home if the owners took more care to properly clean and maintain it.

With the amount of properties available in this area I wouldn't stay again as I'm certain there's other better maintained properties out there.

Private and quiet but easy walk to the beach.

Loved our week vacationing and staying at Easy street in Rockaway. Very comfortable and within walking distance of everything Rockaway has to offer, yet very private and quiet.

I would give it a zero if I could!

Me and my husband rented this house for three nights for our honeymoon. The reason we did is because it had a hot tub. We were really excited to finally arrive there untill we opened the door. Don't get me wrong, the house is really beautiful. Clean? Not so much. The smell of it was the first one to notice. Really bad, we had to leave the doors open. Smelled like dog/cat. We walked in the living room and the floor was dusty. The kitchen looked fairly clean untill we opened the fridge. It was moldy and inside it had a box with food (from previous guests) that smelled really bad. We walked in the bathroom to check the shower and it had hair inside of it, so before we took a shower I has to clean it first while I was in my honeymoon (great, right?). The bedroom was another story also. The sheets were full of hair from a dog/cat and the comforter smelled like it was not washed. I checked the drawers to look for some clean comforters but they didn't smell like clean either. On top of that the comforter had scratches on it and it looked really old. We got there late in the night so we couldn't call somebody to tell them about our problems. We decided to overlook these little things and go and use the hot tub. How do you think that was? It had little pieces of green mold floating around and there was sand on the bottom. Also, some leaves from the tree right above it. Considering the fact that they might charge you extra if they see that the hot tub is not clean we decided to call somebody to come fix it. She did come. We used it again and it had some improvements to it, but we were still dissapointed. I really think it's not worth it. They charge you a big fee for cleaning and the house might not be clean by the time you get there. We preferred enjoying the beach and not stay too much in the house. Sorry Vacasa. Not renting from you ever again.
