Great views, Clean, Cozy
My husband and I stopped here after camping in Yellowstone, and found the cabin to be so clean and cozy, and was just perfect for our stay. The views across the street are GORGEOUS, so make sure you bring binoculars for spotting wildlife.
Cabin close to Yellowstone
This was a nice side-by-side cabin with spectacular views of the nearby mountains. About half way between Cody and Yellowstone, so location was perfect. Erin was very friendly and helpful. Right on Hwy 14 so we were concerned about traffic noise but that was no problem. Hardly any traffic after 8pm
great little cabin
Stayed here for 6 nights. Cabin duplex was nicely decorated. Because Brads restaurant was closed and we were disappointed Erin offered to bring us steaks from Brads butcher shop. They were very reasonable and tasty. Erin was very accommodating and prompt with any requests during our visit. Thanks Erin!
Awesome view, very clean and quiet, great owners
Great place to stay in the Cody area - the mountain view off the front porch, the clear night skies, and the quick drive into town. I wish I would have known the owners had a restaurant next door because the smell was heavenly. We will definitely be staying here again next time we pass through Wyoming.
The Moose, Cozy and Clean
First of all, Erin is absolutely wonderful! She was so flexible and accommodating. The Moose itself is exactly what the pictures show. It's snug, clean, and has great views! The cabin is small, but we fit a family of 4 in there just fine. Erin provided us with a roll-a-way double, and it worked perfectly. The cabin is attached to The Bear, but you would never know once you are inside. It is also right on the main road, but the only traffic you really hear are the motorcycles. It is very easy to get to Cody or Yellowstone from the location. Both are about 25-30 minutes away. There is a great little gas station two minutes down the street for any supplies you might need, as well as affordable gas.
Erin also has a little restaurant that is affordable, and from what I hear very delicious (we always got back too late to try the food, but it smelled amazing). The cabin kitchen and grill provided us with everything we needed to prepare and cook our own meals. It was even nice that linens, bath towels, soap, dish soap, dish towels, paper towels, and toilet paper were provided.
Overall, if you are the type of person/ family that just needs a comfy, cozy, clean, affordable, and accessible place to stay after a day/days in Yellowstone this lodge is a gem in the rocks. I highly recommend you give it a try.
Comfortable and clean
OK place...halfway between Cody and the East entrance of Yellowstone makes it a bit too far from Cody which I am not sure was very clear from the listing. Also right on the highway which was very noisy. Air conditioner was on so hwy noise was mitigated but I would have preferred open windows and a breeze.
