Great location and ocean view. Pool area great! Restaurant food good. Hall bathroom Shower head disappointing and only one towel bar. Master bath no extra towels and no hooks. Kitchen area and living room nice.

Great Condo in a Great Location

Great Condo in the Perfect location! We shared this condo with another couple. We were all celebrating our wedding anniversaries. Spent a couple of days poolside enjoying the weather and the pool side bar/restaurant. The beach wax also very walkable. We walked to the pier for some shopping.. easy drive into Savanah too. Would definitely recommend this place. Had no issues with this condo Except it could use some closets in the bedrooms. Had to live out of our suitcases that we had to leave in the hallway. Overall it was great! Would stay there againWay

Great Place

The unit was very clean when we got there, The rental agent was fantastic. It was a pleasure to see a unit that was decorated in nice colors and art on the walls. Alot of condos that we have rented in the past have had very little decorations and art and looked very sterile. The view and access to the beach was great even for a handicaped person. I would not think twice about renting this unit.

Cancer Free Celebration Family Vacation

When we come to Tybee we always stay at Beach Colony and Love It!! We were here celebrating my daughter in law being cancer free after undergoing months of hell. This Condo was even better than the pictures!

Love Colony Bay

We have always loved staying at Colony Bay. The unit was nice and met our needs. Housekeeping could pay more attention to their cleaning efforts. Also maintenance guy entered without our knowledge. Just happen to return to room and found him inside. A call to notify of his coming would have been nice.

So relaxing

Absolutely loved our stay. I took 3 of my teenage/young adult kids for a 5 day stay on Tybee Island and a day trip to Savannah. The room was great. The pools were warm- could swim after sundown no problem. The restaurant was fantastic! The food was amazing. Everything was so easy and comfortable and fun. I would love to come back again.

Spring Getaway Great Beach Views

The condo was nice and as described in the listing. The beach views were great. This unit is facing the pool luckily it was too early in the year for a lot of noise. Although I don’t think you could hear it in the unit just on the balcony. We could also see and smell the restaurant and the food and drinks there were awesome. You can walk right up to the bar order a drink and go back to the pool just like on a cruise ship. The parking is weird. We had to drive around a couple of times to make sure we were not parking where we were not suppose to and as close to our unit as possible. As stated follow the instructions on how to pick up your packet. Google does Not know the address and we went right by it and we were looking for it. There were orange cones everywhere when we arrived on Sunday which made it difficult to navigate the roads and pull out in traffic. We were told it was for emergency vehicles only. You have to pay to park Everywhere! We had hoped this unit was close enough to walk to North beach and South beach but it was a little over a mile both ways. But you can walk to the sugar shack and get ice cream. This did make this part of the beach quieter so you just have to decide Peaceful? Or parking? Over all a great stay and we might stay hear again due to the restaurant and pool or look for something closer to South beach

Great place for families

This is our second time staying at Beachside Colony and we love it! The location is perfect, on the beach, 2 lovely pools, The Deck restaurant on grounds, quiet end of the island, it’s all just perfect for us. My one complaint has to do with the fact that the wifi did not work in our unit for the entire stay. On the day we arrived I let the property manager know, they said they would put in a work order. Nothing was done about it the entire week we were there. I checked back in at the end of our stay and they said they would check the status, but again, nothing was done. It was a minor inconvenience, but definitely annoying.

We loved the easy access to the beach. Check in was convenient and the entire stay was wonderful. The on-site restaurant was also the best food on the island.

We love visiting Tybee. This is our first time at Beachside Colony. We loved the convience of having pools and a restaurant right there. And obviously the beach so close! Condo was perfect.

Nice place, few issues

It’s a great location and nice property. Bring your own beach towels. The support staff were great and the maintenance team was quick to respond. On the negative side, the washer had a musty odor, the floors needed mopped and the coffee pot looked like it never got cleaned.

Great location

The condo was at a great location, loved that the beach was just a few steps away from the condo. The condo came with towels. The check-in process could've been easier and digitalized. Picking up printed instructions for a later check in was not ideal. The condo wasn't the cleanest but the property management was nice and came the next day to clean. Overall, a good stay, good host and great location.

Great location! Onsite beach bar and beach were great. The unit was spacious. The only downfall was related to the cleanliness of the unit. Tile floors were not thoroughly clean, there were paint cans in the cabinets, and I question whether the comforters were freshly washed.

Our Stay at the Vue at Beachside

We really enjoyed our trip to Tybee Island and our stay at the Vue Beachside Colony. The property was beautiful and very clean. Very family friendly. Close to the beach and swimming pools. We will definitely return for another visit next year.

Master mattress was never replaced

Prior to our stay I read a complaint from a previous guest about the master bedroom mattress. The owner or rental manager replied that the mattress was being replaced. That did not happen because my experience was exactly as described by the previous guest, the master bedroom mattress was like sleeping in a hole! Also, the walls are paper thin so take your sound machine unless you want to hear every noise from the neighboring units.

After relocating several times with my husband's job, our family settled down in Atlanta. My husband, son, daughter and I fell in love with Tybee Island on our first visit in 2009.

The condo's location is terrific. You can spend the day at the beach, take a dip in the pool and grab a drink and a bite without ever having to get in the car. You can venture out and get to know the Island, by car or bike. We really like to explore the local shops filled with crafts and artwork. And we also love that Savannah is so close.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have done a lot of renovations. It's been fully repainted with tile throughout. It is filled with special, tasteful furniture and decor; things that we love. Not just your typical, tired vacation rental stuff you see in so many rentals. But, the star of the show is the view from the balcony and family room. It is really beautiful, morning, noon and night, and the main reason we decided on this particular place.
