A Great, Relaxing Stay

  • 5 of 5

The property is just as described and even nicer in person. We had an issue with scheduling and Maureen, the property manager, was kind of enough to let us reschedule without much issue. The house while charming has a very small driveway, so conveniently enough there was parking available across the street. We had a great time at the house and also in the surrounding area - it is a short 15-20 minute to Lansing and Cornell. Definitely a nice place to stay again!

Beautiful Lake House

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience at the Cayuga Lake Cottage. The house is set up well for multiple family groups and allows easy meal preparation with an open floor plan. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Super lake access. Do be aware that the lake does get rough and can make it difficult to use your boat and dock it easily but we had several perfect days to enjoy when it was warm and calm as well. Two thumbs UP!!

Great Lake Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at the Cayuga cottage. The lake was clean and perfect temperature (first two weeks in August) for refreshing swims. The lake wind was perfect for sailing our catamaran. The cottage open floor plan affords great lake views. The cottage is fully appointed: strong internet, laundry, air conditioning for a great stay.

What can I say! Wonderful time at the lake cottage!! We even extended our stay one extra day! Fished off the docks caught a few perch fish. Water was perfect might have brought some floaties with us water was really calm. Had plenty of wood for nightly campfires! The whole cottage was very clean! Definitely a great location! Can go in to Itacha only about 25 minutes away and Aurora is about the same distance. Was also very quite! Would rent this cottage again and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful lake home! Lots of wonderful memories for my family and friends!

Family reunion in the Finger Lakes

  • 4 of 5

My family, which includes 3 children with spouses, one toddler grandchild, and a pet, gets together every July for a once-a-year reunion. This year we chose the Finger Lakes and was pleased to find ample choices of houses to rent. We found this Cayuga Lake house to fit our needs to a tee. The setting on the lake was very pretty, and we spent many nights sitting on the porch watching the sun set. The kitchen was spacious and open to the living room--important because we love to cook. The bedrooms had ample room and were air conditioned. We were close enough to Lansing and Ithaca if we needed groceries or carry-out lunches. The waterfalls in the area are spectacular, and the gardens on the campus of Cornell University are a must-see, and free to the public. Also, the Ithaca Children's Garden was fun for my 18-mo-old granddaughter, as well as all of us adults. It was a great vacation!
