Located in the heart of Avon, this fabulous newly-constructed two bedroom mountain getaway has all of the amenities of home... plus great views of Beaver Creek Mountain!

Pamper yourself with the convenience of some of the best restaurants and shopping in the Vail Valley. New furnishings, designer decor, new carpet, gas fireplace, balcony with a gas BBQ grill and patio furniture. Wireless internet service. Cable TV in every room, there is a DVD in the family room and each bedroom (a VCR is also in the family room). The ottoman couch doubles as a sleeper sofa and a washer and dryer is located in the Condo.

The master bedroom features a KING bed and private bathroom with jetted tub and double sink... plus a private entrance to the balcony. TWO QUEEN beds are provided in the spacious guest bedroom - perfect for a family - with a private entrance to the adjoining bathroom. Plenty of towels are provided along with bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and full-size blowdryers in each bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, crock pot, blender, toaster and all the gadgets and serving pieces you can imagine).

A full-size front load washer and dryer are located in the condo with laundry detergent, dryer sheets and stain remover.

An underground, heated garage provides parking, locking ski storage for the unit, and bike storage. This unit is one of the few units in the Vail Valley to offer AIR CONDITIONING -- a great option to have on a hot summer day!

Why Lorna Gunnersen chose Avon

We purchased a condo in Avon because Lorna has been a regular at Colorado resorts since the early 80's and always loved the Vail Valley. We have great memories of skiing and hiking in the area; however, our most memorable is becoming engaged following a sleigh ride to the secluded restaurant, 'Beanos Cabin', located on Beaver Creek Mountain.

Vail Valley has ulimited outdoor activities, world-class cuisine, amazing shopping, fabulous day spas and offers a menu of cultural events throughout the year.

Vail and Beaver Creek have been consistently ranked top ski resorts in the world. While the winter is known for its great skiing, snowmobiling, Adventure Ridge and outdoor activities - the summers are filled with mountain biking, hiking, boating, and fishing along with multiple festivals.

What makes this condo unique

Chapel Square is located in the heart of Avon and at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. It is a two block walk from the gondola and is located on the free shuttle route (with two other stops just across the parking lot).

Unlike many other buildings, Chapel Square has residential floors on the top of the building and features the following restaurants on the lower level: steakhouse (Outback), mexican, sushi, soup/sandwhich/salad, and chinese. There are also salon services, grocery, toystore and other stores on the first floor of the building. Residential floors are secured by a code required in the elevator. There is also a great Pizza Restaurant and Irish Pub within a block of the condo. For those renting equipment - Christy Sports, Gart Sports and Vista Sports are all within a block of the condo as well.

The condo has a heated parking garage and ski/bike storage along with a hot tub, sauna and fitness room available for use by the guests. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of the Avon Recreational Center which offers state of the art exercise equipment and indoor pools. We offer a gas grill on the patio of the condo which has a great view of Beaver Creek Mountain.

Loved the Condo. Perfect for our needs.

Great condo with all the necessary things. Enjoyed many relaxing mornings watching the sun come up on the mountain tops with a hot mug of coffee and the fireplace on to take the chill off. Location was perfect for our Fall color tour and fishing trips. Close to the Eagle River, loved the back roads from Eagle's Brush Creek rd., and Burnt Mt. Rd., spent a day at Shrine Pass road and fishing the Black lakes just north of Vail. Avon has many places to eat and great stores just a few blocks away, even a Walmart and a huge hardware store. Great time cooking simple dinner and then playing games afterward.

The condo is the PERFECT basecamp for enjoying the Rocky Mountains!

The condo is the PERFECT basecamp for enjoying the Rocky Mountains – centrally located, comfortable, and well equipped. It was ideal for our summer getaway. There is a master suite, and a full size secondary bedroom with a walk-thru bathroom (accessible from both the secondary bedroom and the hallway). The bedrooms do not have AC, but the temperature is comfortable. If you prefer it cooler, there are fans for each bedroom. It’s a matter of personal preference. The nights are chilly in Avon, even in August (low-50’s overnight). The living room and kitchen are open; a large hi-top counter, with four comfy barstools tucked just underneath join the two spaces. There is not a separate dining area. The living area has central AC (not sure you would need it – the nights are chilly already), and is comfortable and welcoming, with an oversized leather armchair, sofa, and enough throw pillows to settle in and find just the right position. The bedrooms and living room all have flatscreen TV’s and DVD players (not Blu-ray). The Wi-Fi signal is strong. There is a wide selection of cable channels too (NFL games were available). There is a full size washer and dryer, for which we were grateful. We didn’t have to pack much. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked if you’re planning to actually use it - heavier grade pots, non-stick pans, sharp knives, utensils, dishes, glassware, spices, olive oil, foil, etc. The 5-burner gas stove, 4-slot toaster, and traditional 10-cup coffee pot were terrific (meals were cooked efficiently). There is not a k-cup machine, but the condo is stocked with coffee filters, coffee, sugar, and creamer. You just have to remember how to brew coffee! There is a grocery store (complete with Starbucks, olive bar, deli, fresh seafood, beef, poultry, etc.) within walking distance, so you can stock-up, or shop one day at a time. We made full use of the kitchen and ate in mostly – coffee, eggs, bacon and bagels most mornings; and, steak, chicken, fish, salad, stir-fry or rice in the evenings (none in our party agree on what to eat……so having a full kitchen is a must for us). There is otherwise far too much to do during the day to spend much time indoors. Some other perks:

• There is both a nail salon and a massage practice in the building.

• There is also a sushi restaurant, and a pizza, pasta & sandwich restaurant.

• Within walking distance is Avon Town Center, where there is a variety of shops and restaurants (both family and upscale).

Our stay here was very comfortable! We enjoyed all the condos accommodations.

The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We enjoyed our meals on the balcony and the grill worked great!

This place was stocked with plenty of kitchen and bathroom supplies. Restaurants near by were convient. We recommend the Mexican restaurant.

The owner was very helpful, and prompt with any questions I had.

Overall, we would recommend this place. And will definitely stay here again when visiting family. In the future.

Very comfortable and easy access to Beaver Creek and Vail Valley

Avon is at the base of Beaver Creek and a short drive/bus to the mountain. The condo with two bedrooms is great for six related people which is what we were, or for a family with children. It would not be ideal for three couples who each want privacy but for two couples it would be great. Although it can sleep 8 people with the rollaway, that would be tight. The condo was very clean, well kept and well equipped. The underground parking is easy, nice and secure. We did walk from the condo to a really nice wine/tapas restaurant. Groceries, ski rentals and other conveniences are all in the neighborhood. Down the road a few miles is the Village of Edwards which has an outdoor lifestyle/riverwalk center with lots of restaurants and shops - a less expensive version of Vail and really worthwhile.

Nice and clean....great location

We had a very nice stay at this Avon location. Very convenient and walking distance from several restaurants and ski shuttle stops. We cooked a few nights in and were very impressed with the cooking utensils, pots/pans etc. Perfect condo for a family of four.
