The property is easily accessible and has plenty of room for a truck and trailer. It features an electric mini split for heating and cooling to keep you comfortable no matter the season. Bathroom is completely private to guest and offers hot water and flushing toilet.

The property was just lovely! Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was perfect. There is only an outdoor shower, so that is something to consider if that isn’t for you. Our little Boston terrier loved it. The host family was great, even when our dog ran in their house :). Great stay, very close to the lake.

The yurt is a lovely and unforgettable stay. The owners thought of everything and clearly had quality in mind; the bed is chef’s kiss! and don’t worry about fire wood - there’s plenty and they even prepped our first fire in the pit for us . We loved being there as much as our other adventures in the area. As remote as it feels, it’s so close to unique and amazing attractions. It was hard to leave so we will have to come back. Thank you!!!

Loved staying here! Best glamping option. First yurt we stayed in and they set a high bar. The outdoor shower is awesome. It is nice that the short path to the bathroom is well lit at night. It had all the fixings for a bonfire and sitting area for breakfast in the morning outside if you want to enjoy the surrounding nature. There's a wide open sky to look at and trees on all the other sides of you. The bed was so comfortable and also we used the French press almost every day for our coffee fix. We saw a cute tree frog and some woodpeckers. Location wise, you are very close to torch lake public access and close to downtown bellaire which has good food and drinks. We liked the grass nature area park about 2 minutes away that had trails with boardwalks and river views. Overall a great place to stay if you want the best of both worlds, a little seclusion and not too far from torch lake and all those activities. And the yurt is just so cool.

This was our first stay in a yurt. It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor shower in the forest was cool! Private and beautiful setting.

Fun, secluded, peaceful.

This was our first time staying in a yurt and it was a very enjoyable experience. The host set it up so that everything you could need or want is right there for you. It was so peaceful I just wanted to sleep all day. You're definitely off the beaten path which added to the experience.

This yurt stay delivered exactly what we hoped for – a chance to disconnect and reconnect with nature without completely roughing it. It’s not luxury camping, but the unique circular space was exceptional. Perfect for adventurous couples or families with older kids who want to try something different.

We hated to leave- we only stayed 2 nights and were exploring the area during the day- but we could easily have spent a week doing as little as possible here. Very private, extremely peaceful, and a gorgeous setting. Yurt was clean, well maintained, and well appointed- comfortable bed, and 4 of us slept here (wife, 14 and 16 y/o daughters)We loved the outdoor shower.... not sure why, but we all agreed it is a very different experience in all good ways. The bathroom is clean and comfortable as well. Hosts were friendly and communicative.We would add a small stacked washer/ dryer in the bathroom and a small countertop icemaker in the Yurt to make it "perfect", but we'd happily return regardless.
