Important before booking: Waters Edge 102N has a one-month minimum stay during winter months and a two-week minimum the rest of the year. This is not a weekly rental — contact IVP to confirm current seasonal minimums before booking.

A Gulf-front complex in Holmes Beach with an elevator, a heated pool at the Gulf side, and a tennis court on-site. The balcony has a side view down to the beach — honestly framed, not a direct Gulf view, but the beach and the water are visible and the sunsets come through in the evenings.

The complex sits on a stretch of beach that stays less crowded than the main public accesses — a consistent detail that guests notice.

Two bedrooms sleep four. The primary suite has a king bed with a renovated bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. Two full bathrooms. Flat-screen TVs in the living room and primary bedroom. High-speed WiFi included.

Parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

Waters Edge 102N has a one-month minimum stay during winter and a two-week minimum the rest of the year.

Host was welcoming, but amenities were sad. Beach chairs were busted and the umbrellas were both damaged. The hostess was great about getting us beach chairs. Condo was nice, but street noise was annoying.

Sunsets from the beach

The unit was lovely. Furniture and beds very comfortable. They could use a few hooks on the back of bathroom doors to hang stuff while getting ready. While the unit was very nice it was a bit noisy on the patio. Was nice to be close to the beach and the sunsets were beautiful from there!

The unit was tastefully furnished with comfortable furnishings and plenty of room. The elevator was quick as was the laundry room. Kitchen well equipped and a microwave with an extensive menu of selections. Plenty of ice for those necessary beverages. The porch unfortunately faced next door renovations so not as accessible this week but otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Great Location on Holmes Beach but a bit noisy

The positives are the unit was extremely well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the pool area was great and the location of the complex is ideal. The negative is the unit is the 1st unit from the street and can be a bit noisy at times, especially in the mornings.

Waters Edge is Magnifico!

We stumbled across the most wonderful location, amazing property management company, owners who care about being immaculate, freshly upgraded and having all of the necessary content for a Wonderful vacation. Two adult daughters joined us for a few days, and we enjoyed the location immensely, ate out every night taking advantage of the culinary greatness of the island. I don't want to say too many nice things because we can only hope that this particular property will be available for us again soon! Thank you very much for sharing your home and the rental management company was wonderfully responsive.

Easy access to the beach and enjoyed the heated saltwater pool on cooler days. Very updated and efficient kitchen, open floor plan, also allowing privacy with the 2BR/2BA layout. Waters Edge condo building common area was well maintained, elevator was very helpful, and covered parking area.

Hanging hooks in bathrooms and hand-held shower heads would be improvements.Overall an excellent unit.

The condo was very spacious and a quick elevator ride took you to a white sand beach in a flash. The condo was well equipped and the appliances seemed brand new. My only criticism would be that the primary bedroom seemed a little warm. Oh and we have a RAM truck so pulling into the under building parking garage scared the heart out of my hubby the first time there(haha...low clearance) All and all we loved staying at Waters Edge and will keep coming back to our paradise found.

They had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The complex was great and so were all the people we interacted with during our stay. The beds in this rental were also very comfortable. There is one area of recommendation. The master bedroom always seemed to be a good bit warmer than the rest of the condo. The fan certainly helped this, however sometimes it was a little warm in the evenings. Other than that, our stay was great! If we ever return to Anna Maria, we would be happy to stay here again!

Property is very neat and clean. Condo is close to the road so it can be a bit noisy but it does quiet down. Condo is nicely appointed but does have a bit too much fake greenery. Also the closets are cluttered with stuff so there isn't much room to hang things. Dresser drawers in guest room are also full of bedding. There is an occasionally a sewer odor in the master bath. Definitely not a deal breaker. Overall the condo is very comfortable and have already rebooked for next year.

Convenient location, great beaches, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Heated salt water pool is nice, and right on the Gulf. Unit is near the street in the front of the Bldg., so not a good view of the Gulf. Covered parking w. assigned space, and good security with keypad entries to Bldg., and Unit. Rent a bike for the week, and explore the AMI. We would go again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Island Vacation Properties was great. They stepped up whenever we asked them to. The property was newly renovated so the furniture was comfortable. Bathrooms very small. Condo was lovely and the location was great. Thet advertised that there were three TVs, but the third was in the bedroom closet with no hookup. The first thing I look for when renting on AMI is a heated pool because my friend and I, mid to late seventies, use the pool for exercise and it's important to us. The heater on the pool was broken and it was never fixed during the three weeks (early February) we were there. I asked for some consideration from the owner. I paid in the neighborhood of $8000 with all the fees and got $300 back...and part of that was from the rental agency, not the owner. That is around .04%. NOT happy. I wouldn't recommend this property.

Frustrating Stay

The condo overall was clean, but the cable/TV hardly ever worked and the two bathrooms had foul smells during our entire three week stay. They were also renovating another condo on our hall so there was constant construction noise and workers going up and down the hallways. The workers were rude. There is a laundry room but it is done the hall and you must pay. It is not convenient. Finally, we messaged the property managers several times about several issues but never heard back through the app that they make you use. Overall, not impressed. We will not be back.
