Beachfront Paradise One Bedroom Poolside Condo with Spectacular View

Ballena 204 is a comfortable, artistically decorated, beachfront studio condo with breathtaking sunset views from the second-story balcony. The condo overlooks the pool and the beach beyond it. Large bedroom with two queen beds sleeps four, plus a separate living room with pull-out couch. Large bathroom with shower. Kitchen with full refrigerator and freezer, 4-burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, and blender, fully equipped with dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. Washer/dryer, outdoor grill.

**Note**: If you stayed with us in the past, we have added a full refrigerator and washer dryer to the unit.

Free WiFi, TV with Roku.

Linens, bath towels and beach towels provided.

Inside a gated complex with plenty of free parking, the Ballena building has an elevator and is adjacent to a large pool with a hot tub, large palapa with an ice machine, sink and bathrooms, and a kiddie pool. English speaking property manager on site. Security guards available 24/7.

Located in Casa del Mar Phase II, part of the Cabo Real development. The gated, secure Casa del Mar complex is the jewel of Los Cabos; the only low density privately owned condo development on the Corridor. Phase II contains the privately owned condos and includes four swimming pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, direct access to the beach and lush tropical landscaping.

We recommend occupancy of no more than two adults and two children or three adults.

Please be aware that the beach in front of the condo is generally not swimmable. There is a swimming cove about 1/2 mile up the beach at the Hilton Los Cabos.

June - Oct 15 is considered “off season”, which is the time of year when maintenance and construction projects can be done on the condos. We offer reduced rates during these months, but there is a possibility of maintenance activities and construction noise during the daytime.

We were here for ten days and will definitely rebook this property. Great location and beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez. Great communication with property owners who was spot on answering all our questions in a timely manner. The condo was also very well stocked upon our arrival which was super convenient.

It was a beautiful property with amazing views for a very affordable price! All amenities were included. The only advice I would have is to get a regular toaster and a broom for the condo (so we could sweep up sand😊).

Absolutely beautiful property. The views are spectacular, the grounds are so pretty and well kept. The condo is well stocked with everything you would need, comfy beds, cute decor, very clean. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond. Location is halfway between San Jose and Los Cabos (marina area). Shopping close by. We did rent a car and also used uber. Great spot.

The condo was clean and had a great view. The beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning was easy to control as well as the fans. The pool was very well maintained and we were steps to the beach. Security made us feel very safe at all times. I would highly recommend this property. 15 min Uber ride to restaurants and shops. Great location.

My Husband and I spent a three day weekend at this residence and had a wonderful stay! Lovely for a couple, quiet and relaxing. The beach was very private and we saw many whales traveling through. We also took the shuttle from the airport and stayed without our a car, at first I was concerned about this plan but the bus system was super convenient and inexpensive. If you are looking for a big party, I suggest you stay in the town of Cabo San Lucas. This condo was perfect for our stay - we are in our 50s.....I plan to return - Loved the owners book regarding local restaurants as well!

We really enjoyed out stay at Casa del Mar. The property itself was beautiful. Loved being so close to the ocean...could see whales and the jumping manta rays! We especially appreciated the quietness of the resort and no need to run out and save a spot by the pool or beach! Our condo was great although we spent time with our friends in another condo because it was a little larger for playing cards. We also would look for one with washer & dryer next time, but it worked out great for our first time at the resort. Ralph & Cindy

Great Location

Humble 1 bedroom unit faces the pool and ocean. You can fall asleep to waves crashing onto the beach every night. Clean and comfortable in a quite location. If your looking for a get away from the hustle and bustle of San Lucas, this is a great option. It's not a luxury accommodation but it's clean and comfy. The only con would be the noisy AC system, it is very loud and near the bedroom. Hopefully they will get this corrected. To sum it up, I would stay here again.

We loved the property, view, and host! Danielle went above and beyond in answering our pre-travel questions and put us in contact with the concierge to overcome trouble we encountered getting tickets to the Los Cabos Tennis Open before we arrived. We got groceries delivered from Fresko La Comer and grilled on the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The washer/dryer came in handy and we could have packed way less! Grass tennis courts were a bonus! Definitely recommended the property and host to our friends and hopefully our travels bring us back!

Perfect San Jose del Cabo Condo!

This was my family’s 5th time to stay at the condo complex of Casa Del Mar. It’s the perfect location between the main area of San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. This condo, Ballena 204, was perfect for my husband and I. The kitchenette/ living room was perfect for the two of us. The beds were comfortable and the air condition blew directly towards each bed which made us sleep like a babies after fishing all day. You can hear the waves breaking over the rocks at night which was so relaxing. The grounds of Casa Del Mar are always beautiful, the colorful Bougainvilleas are stunning along with all of the cacti and succulents. The owner checked in with us to make sure we needed anything and was available by text if we did. The locals and workers of Casa Del Mar are super friendly and welcoming, we absolutely love this town!

Why they chose this property

Judy and her husband visited Los Cabos in 1991 and were so enchanted by the area that we purchased our personal condo on that first weekend. As our family grew we purchased Ballena #204 in 1997 as a second unit for our visiting children and friends.

Danielle and her husband got married at Casa del Mar in 2003, so this is a very special place to us. We visit as often as possible, and try to keep the condo well-equipped for ourselves and our renters.
