We had a wonderful stay and the beauty of the property was beyond our expectations. The view from the back deck is spectacular especially at sunset. Highly recommend. We just left for home today but are already talking about coming back next year.

Fantastic respite near Santa Fe

Beautiful home and views off the south patio. Easy to get into Santa Fe. Other nice side trip of Pecos National Historic Park in Pecos.

Serene historic casita

Our check in was a little problematic since our email was updated after we reserved. Not a host problem but a VRBO problem. Once inside we didn’t want to leave. We stayed an entire week and found that the courtyard was one of our favorite spots to relax. The entire property is peaceful, private and in a wonderful mountain location. Our best rental ever!

Old Santa Fe feel off the beaten path

The house and property give a great authentic old Santa Fe feel just outside of town. It’s a short 15 min drive into downtown Santa Fe from the house. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the great weather views. Overall the house was perfect for our family of 4 and had all of the amenities that one would want. The pictures in the listing are a perfect representation of the property.

Perfection

My daughter and I traveled from Texas to Santa Fe and stayed at this wonderful home. We were there for five days and did day trips to Albuquerque, Taos and Chama for a great train ride. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and very comfortable. It is very private and we spent evenings on the deck in back watching sunsets and mornings on the front covered porch drinking coffee. The front yard had beautiful yard art and was impeccably manicured and zen-like. This may be my favorite VRBO rental of all and I sincerely want to visit again soon and bring hubby along.

As a fellow STR I really wanted to give 5 stars, but cleanliness just wasn’t there. Live spider webs, and several old cobwebs were present in various areas. I realize this is the desert, but the amount along with the dust on furniture was excessive and made the home less comfortable. We bought into the lovely outdoor deck and furniture as the weather was beautiful… but, the outdoor furniture was unusable and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned off in months. Communication with host was excellent and very nice. Location was secluded, great area, and out of the way. You will be driving 15-18 mins to get to The Plaza. The home is a beautiful, traditional Santa Fe architecture with lots of amazing art. But, the cleanliness and attention to detail just wasn’t there.

Amazing house and excellent hosts. We felt like we were in the middle of no where, but the property is minutes from Santa Fe, specifically Santa Fe plaza. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax. The food at every place we went to eat was amazing and the people couldn’t have been nicer.

This house was a wonderful base camp for our family while we explored Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. This house is super clean, the accommodations are great and we enjoyed the it and the property during our stay. The views from the living area and the back deck are wonderful, especially during sunset and at night. The location is convenient, about 6 miles from downtown Santa Fe and only a few miles from other areas of town. The art in the house is also amazing and gives off the overall artistic vibe of Santa Fe. Our host was responsive and willing to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
