Welcome, Our bright and spacious home!

Thoughtfully decorated with comfortable furnishings. This inviting space is designed to help you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It’s perfect for families traveling with children or pets, and we’re happy to welcome up to two furry friends per stay. Guests have access to the entire two-story home to relax and enjoy.

Inside the Home:

Step inside and relax in the naturally lit, spacious living room—perfect for relaxing with loved ones. Enjoy your favorite shows on TV or gather for great conversation in the open dining area. Just around the corner, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen equipped with everything you need, including an oven, stove, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig.

When it’s time to rest, choose from two comfortable bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: Two twin beds with blackout curtains for a restful night’s sleep
Bedroom 2: Open and airy with a queen bed and an additional twin—perfect for families traveling with little ones.

**Please note: Both bedrooms and the home’s only bathroom are located on the second floor.


Outdoor Area:

Step outside to enjoy the enclosed back porch or take in peaceful countryside views from the spacious and private backyard— complete with a fire pit! Firewood, charcoal and lighter fluid can be provided and ready for you at an additional cost. Please ask before your arrival so we can have everything prepared for you.

Our location is ideal- The house sits on the main road through Hughesville. Just minutes off of I-180 and close to many local attractions:

-Walking distance to the Lycoming County Fairgrounds!
-5 minutes to grocery stores, gas stations, boutiques and coffee shops
-5 minutes to Lime Bluff Park and Kiess Park, featuring walking trails and a great playground
-20 minutes to Williamsport (home of the Little League World Series)
-30 minutes to Lewisburg and Danville
-a 33-minute scenic drive to Ricketts Glen State Park and its breathtaking waterfalls

Please place all trash in the blue trash can outside by the garage.
Please run the dishwasher before departure or hand-wash any used dishware and place in the drying rack or put them away.
Make sure all AC units are turned off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours are from 11pm-7am
Pet Policy: -Please clean up after the pet. -Any damage caused by a pet will be the responsibility of the guest and may result in additional charges.
NO smoking- We enforce a strict NO SMOKING policy inside our homes. If it is clear this was done inside the home, you will be fined a flat fee of $300

Really good stay overall. The place was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. Super easy check-in and great communication from the host. I’d definitely stay here again — might actually be back in a couple weeks.

This was the second bedroom upstairs felt so cozy
The kitchen's so large I had to fit it in two pictures I loved having a dishwasher

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at this property. Lauren, our host, was consistently prompt and clear in her communications, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. She was also highly accommodating and a pleasure to interact with. While the home is an older property undergoing some updates, it was well-suited for our needs. We experienced an issue with one of the burners, and upon notifying Lauren, she immediately offered to address the concern the same day; however, given our brief visit and the functionality of the remaining burners and oven, we opted not to have it repaired during our stay. Overall, the house was perfect for a short visit, and we sincerely appreciate Lauren’s hospitality.

The owners have added some very nice touches to their VRBO, such as a Keurig, large TV in livingroom, hooded towels for children with books too. The house is air conditioned but with window units. There was a bit of a stale smoky smell to the house as my guess is it was once owned by a heavy smoker. It was more noticeable when leaving and returning to the house. There was an air purifier running at all times though.

Everything was perfect. Very clean, well appointed with basic supplies, and in a good location. It was near restaurants, grocery stores, and the highway . We would stay here again if we need to. Thanks
