Construido en 1892, Lakeshore sirvió como una posada que daba la bienvenida a décadas de visitantes de Eagles Mere. Lakeshore conserva el amplio porche de una cabaña clásica y ofrece proximidad al lago y los senderos, mientras que la cocina, los baños y el mobiliario se actualizan para los estilos de vida de hoy. La Unidad B (2 dormitorios + porche para dormir con 2 camas individuales y 1 baño completo) es un alojamiento espacioso en el primer piso que ofrece vistas del estanque de salida, una terraza acristalada (o porche para dormir) fuera de la gran sala de estar con televisor de pantalla grande nuevo, comedor, Lavadero, cocina totalmente equipada y patio de piedra de montaña. M.) ¡No te pierdas el viernes otro día y noche y todas las actividades del viernes! El alquiler mínimo es de siete días del 20 de junio al 29 de agosto. Mínimo de dos noches durante las temporadas de primavera y otoño. La limpieza y la tarifa por mascota se muestran en el cálculo de la estadía total. Hay una tarifa de lago por la Asociación EM Lake (lago privado) pagadera en el mostrador de la playa (mediados de junio - Día del Trabajo).

The property was okay; however, would have been better if it had two bathrooms. One bathroom for four people was very inconvenient. Also, the doors of the bathroom (and throughout the property were hollow and thus lead to a lack of privacy and noise containment. Some of the electric outlets were non-operative for part of the time, until we guessed it might have been the circuit breakers. We located the breakers and found one breaker was triped. Other than these few inconveniences the property was adequate for our short visit.

Wonderful, immaculately kept property

This was a truly wonderful stay with a wonderful host. The screened in porch is surrounded by lovely landscaping and provides a bug free, quiet place to relax. Very kid and dog friendly. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

Wonderful Home Across the Street from the Conservancy

We had a wonderful time. Host was very communicative, the home is lovely with a roomy screened porch (shared by the other two apartments within the house), a flower-filled garden and patio, and the location was perfect for getting to Eagles Mere Conservancy trails which in turn connect to state park trails. If you have kids, the Conservancy was offering daily educational programs and the people there are super nice! Although the house is very close to the lake, we didn't go to it and didn't miss it--there was so much else to do with the trails and the town. Didn't get into our car at all between arrival and check-out. Also, a very dog-friendly location--and at the same time very clean. The Sweet Shop and another downtown place are a half-mile away with outdoor seating that is also dog-friendly. And there is an Inn with several dining options even closer. Kitchen very well stocked, too, if you want to eat in (but if so, you may want to get groceries on your way in as there isn't a big store in town that we found). Music on the green was an unexpected treat! This is just a lovely and peaceful place to unwind.

Nice visit

One of the cleanest rental properties I have ever stayed in! The space was plenty and comfortable! Loved the Porch and easy walking to the pond, lake and dinner at the EM InN.

Lovely place

A friend and I found this place to stay as we were running a race nearby. I wish we could have stayed longer. Karen was reachable by telephone and responded quickly to our questions. The place was well stocked and the location was great. Eagles Mere is such a quaint community. Definitely would go back.

Great stay

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and mother and an additional night with my husband. There was plenty of space for everyone to stay and get ready the following day. I enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen. The location was quaint and the outdoor seating area was beautiful. You could actually hear the stream from one of the bedrooms. Just a short walk or drive from downtown Eagle’s Mere. Property owners were very nice and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again! And, it’s pet friendly 😊

Excellent Location

Stayed in 1B on first floor and it was nice size. We were able to walk to everything in town and had close access to many hiking trails. Met the proprietor, Karen, and she was very conscientious about making sure we were happy with the place, etc.

Great place, excellent hosts!

The place was great, would definitely stay here again! I think the rooms are bigger than they seem in the pictures. Everything was clean, well stocked, plenty of towels, linens, kitchen gadgets, etc. The water was yellow from a recent storm. I messaged the hosts about it, they were there within minutes with bottled water. Also they were very accommodating, provided a crate for the dog vacationing with us.

The house is directly across the street from a large nature conservancy. I was originally planning to travel to Rickett’s Glen every day, but when I learned all the hikes and nature that were available right in Eagles Mere, I didn’t need to/want to leave the area.

Eagles Mere is great and loved the size of the apartment. Much larger than we expected. Amenities are neat and tidy but a little dated. Definitely a relaxing place to stay and a great choice for people who like to enjoy the outdoors. The gardens around the house itself are also really beautiful and were full of butterflies when we stayed. A few deer came through to eat apples from the tree every morning. We loved walking to town in the evening for ice cream at the sweet shop. The outside grill came in handy but the fire pit and outdoor patio area could also use a little update. Eagles Mere lake was amazing. My daughter loved it. Overall would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful Serene Place

Excellent week. Stayed in Apt. B which was spacious, clean and well-stocked with linens and all the kitchen tools needed to cook a nice meal each night. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. We rented this property because our home was going through renovations and needed to vacate our space. I had to telework daily. The internet was great and definitely a must. Bring bottled water, there is a little iron in the local water. Also, bring a nice stock of groceries. You will be a bit removed from a grocery. The property was impeccable, charming, and peaceful with lots of space to stretch out.

Remote Lake House

Clean, well stocked, spacious and nicely situated in a hikers paradise. Access to the lake facilities was an absolute plus for the kids . Worlds end ( 15 min) and Ricketts Glenn ( 35min) makes it great to explore the outdoors.

Our family has spent the past 30 summers in Eagles Mere and watched our kids grow up here. Our son literally learned to crawl in the sand on the beach! When the kids were young, we filled the house with visiting grandparents and cousins. We have all made very dear friends in this little community and the family gathers here for holidays. This may be the "town that time forgot" but Eagles Mere is never far from our minds. Start your own family tradition here!

Porches, the yard and flowers, the Outlet Pond and trails, the proximity to the village, Lake and Conservancy - so much to love and enjoy! The house is clean, well-furnished, up-to-date and comfortable. Mattresses, linens and towels are comfortable and in appropriate supply. The kitchen is equipped for cooking in and outside on the gas grill. There is no shortage of dishes (inside and outdoors dining), glasses of all types and serving/hostess items. Cooking, bakeware, utensils and small appliances (waffle maker, George Foreman, electric griddle, food processor, crock pot and blender, etc.) are provided. Basic cleaning and laundry items included as well as paper products.
