Stay was great for my wife and I. I'm 6'6" so everything was very tight. The 5 flights of stairs are no joke. Very steep. Apartment was cute and cozy, and definitely gave authentic New York City vibes. I would stay here again.

Thank you for staying with us, it was a pleasure hosting you both.
A nice little spot in a great location! We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the convenience to subway, great restaurants and our host was very accommodating and communicative. Definitely recommend!
Ana was easy to reach and quick to respond. The location was in the heart of many different venues and walkable as well. The characteristics of the older building gave our first trip to New York a special charm.
Ana was very helpful and friendly. She had many good advices for our stay. The apartment was very nice, quiet and perfectly located to explore Manhattan. We had a really great time. The place is small but provides everything needed. You should take the advice concerning the stairs serious. They are steep and narrow.
The place is in a lively, action-packed areaâperfect if you want to be in the heart of everything. Ana was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Galib, it was an absolute pleasure hosting you. Thank you for being such a great guest. You're welcome back anytime đ
We were very happy with the apartment. We mostly just slept there as we were out and about during our visit but everything was clean and functioned well, including the AC. The manager was very responsive in our communications.

Property is in a great location, good stay for two but no more. One bed is a futon! Luggage is not easing to bring up, stairs are steep and the apartment is at the top of the building. So do keep this in mind. You genially get the NYC experience here. Host was pretty easy to reach and helped a lot with check in process!
It was a wonderful stay! This street is so ideal!!! They thing in the apartment is wonderful. My only desire would have been a better kitchen experience during our stay as we enjoy a nice home cooked meal every now and again when we travel. The pans are nearly broken & and only one dull knife with no cutting board. Shower does take some time to get right, but otherwise no true big complaints!
Look no further, this is your place! Pictured and described accurately, this property will set the stage for a perfect NYC experience. Our host, Ana, was available, responsive, very friendly, and clear with all instructions. Check in was quick and easy. The property is in a great location and close to many amenities such as bodegas, shopping, groceries, 1.50 pizza, nightlife, and historic restaurants/shops (i.e. Katz's Delicatessen, Yonah Schimmel's Knishery, Ray's Candy Store). The Tenement Museum is just down the street and provides a great experience to learn more about the rich history of the neighborhood. You can get most places within the city quickly as the train is a 5 minute walk and bus stops are close. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood during day and night. The property itself has been renovated nicely and is very comfortable for sleeping, relaxing in after a long day in the city, and is quiet. There are two air conditioner units (one upstairs and down) that kept the unit perfectly cool in July. The kitchen has the basics so meals can be made. The sofa sleeper has a foam mattress addition and the bed is very comfortable. There are no elevators, as is a walk up building, but this was not an issue for us. Overall, everything was perfect and would love to return again in the future.
TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!! Old building, stairs are not friendly, not up to code. Had a gas leak in the apartment during my entire stay. Host was unresponsive. When I finally did reach her, she was combative and called me a LIAR. Actually sent someone into the apartment to confirm I was telling her was the truth. The GAS LEAK was confirmed and she still was impossible to deal with. Offered me a refund in hopes of keeping me silent, but then never refunded my money. No carbon monoxide detector inside the unit. Two pot shops nearby. Every night there was a large group of smokers just outside the main entrance of the building. Youâre looking over your shoulder as you walk in to make sure nobody follows you inside to rob you (all times of the day). Actually saw a homeless person loading up her needle, just outside the building. If thatâs not enough. Cook, stay or turn the lights on at your peril. Seriously, turning the lights on in this place was dangerous. The list of rules and guidelines were a novel (takes 20 mins to read thru the entire thing). Bathroom is TINY. Iâm 6â-2â tall and 220 lbs, if your bigger than that, you will not be able to use the bathroom. The sink is literally on top of the toilet. And the toilet is located inside of the tiniest little nook. The first day I arrived. It was 95 degrees outside and 120 degrees inside. Host asks that you turn the AC off when you leave. It never cooled down. Wouldâve been better sleeping on the street. STAY AWAY!!!

*** GUEST RETALIATION REVIEW** its so unfortunate how guests like these try and extort property owners for money or a bad review. I have evidence via text- this guest reported the smell of gas at 2 am- by 9 am someone was in the unit to confirm there was a gas leak. This guest was hostile and IMMEDIATELY was asking for a refund- i explained to the guest that i would need to have it confirmed by a professional before providing a refund and he went BALLISTIC!! stating that I called him a liar. Once it was confirmed by a professional there was a small leak- he was NOT ONLY REFUNDED but given a free day which i didnt have to (I could have had him just check out). HE THEN MESSAGES ME after checking out to refund him to the ENTIRE STAY or he would give a bad review and there you have it. lol its pretty sad- guest like these need to pay full price and go stay at a hotel.

Youâre truly paying for the location hereâand maybe a true New York experience. Narrow hallways, steep stairs, back alleysâbut how truly historical New York!!! SO many spots so close by and you can reach just about anything with just a few minute walk and the subway is also very close. My only complaint is details of the listing; it explained far more amenities like luggage assistance, wash clothes for tenants, in addition to barebones existing amenities: low hand soap, a single roll of toilet paper per stay.

Hello Taryn, itâs very important to review the information provided on the listing page. We clearly state there are laundromats nearby (approximately 1 street block). The listing never mentions washing guest clothes, Iâve actually never heard of that. And WE DO provide luggage assistance which we state is based on availability. You messaged us approx 8 hours before your check-out date, this did not provide us with adequate time to coordinate. As stated on our listing this is something that we offer free of charge, but INDEED is based on availability. We provide guest with guest essentials, however anything EXTRA is considered additional is at the guests discretion. Thank you đ glad you enjoyed the area
Lejligheden ligger i et hyggeligt kvarter. Vi gik til central park og til Financial district. Fin gÄafstand til ovetakt derimellem.Den er ren og udlejer meget hurtig til at respondere.Jeg kan kun give min bedste anbefaling
