GETTING AROUND
Walking - There are a number of restaurants and shops walking distance on Coast Village
Road. The Beachside Retreat is only a quick walk down to Butterfly Beach or the Rosewood
Miramar. Downtown Santa Barbara or Carpinteria is a quick drive away.
GUEST AMENITIES
The Kitchen is fully equipped with full size appliances, (Dishwasher, Fridge, Range/Oven,
Microwave), flatware, and utensils. There is a standard, coffeemaker, toaster, and basic
amenities. If you choose to cook, please wash any dirty dishes, and put them back where you
found them upon your departure. If any food scraps are washed down the sink during your visit, please use the garbage disposal with the water running. Please do not dump the left-over
coffee grinds down the sink; they will clog the sink. Please dump excess coffee grinds in the
trash can.
The full size trash can is located inside the pantry. The full size recycle can in the garage by the laundry machines. There are extra trash bags under the kitchen sink. Please remove all trash
before departure. The trash bins are located outside behind the grey gate, adjacent to the
passenger gate of the back unit (look for the metal circle sign with a trash logo). The trash and recycle are picked up weekly on Tuesday mornings.
There are laundry machines located in the garage to use throughout your stay at the Beachside Retreat.
We have a landscaping team who comes weekly.
In case of emergencies, we have one security camera at the front door and one in the back
patio area. We also have a First-Aid Kit and Fire Extinguisher located in the pantry.
The water heater is located in the garage so, when it is cold outside it takes a few moments for the water to warm up.
The main bedroom features a king size bed, ceiling fan, TV, couch & amp; sitting area, sliding glass doors to balcony, and ensuite bathroom.
The guest bedroom downstairs features a queen size bed, walk-in closet, modern flat screen new TV and sliding glass door to a private outdoor patio.
The guest bedroom upstairs features a queen size bed, walk-in closet, and large window.
Bathroom essentials - shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, towels, hair dryer - are all provided.
Beach towels are provided and stored above the laundry machines in the garage.
The main bedroom features a king size bed, ceiling fan, TV, couch & sitting area, sliding glass doors to balcony, and ensuite bathroom.
The guest bedroom downstairs features a queen size bed, walk-in closet, and sliding glass door
to a private outdoor patio.
The large size 82 inch TV in the Living Room allows families to watch a movie or a game together on any of their own favorite TV apps. For a cosy bedtime experience, two additional new flat screen TVs are attached at the main Bedroom upstairs and one bedroom downstairs (use your own app subscriptions - no cable).
Review carefully: Outdoor SAUNA is NOT open for guest use. Do NOT open the SAUNA door or enter inside the Sauna. No parties or events are allowed on the property.
Failure to adhere to the house rules, will result in immediate action from the landlord that can jeopardize your stay and a fine.
We require that the main guest making the booking to enter the total number of guests staying in the house.
Pricing disclosure: Please note that each additional guest beyond 4 guests, is charged an additional $250/each night per guest (only applicable on 5th and 6th guests), on top of the base price. The app is set up to calculate and charge the total fee for your stay. (The house accommodates up to 6 guests, with additional fees - $250/night for fifth and sixth guests).

There is a heating + A/C in the house, self-controlled from the thermostat in the hallway through the Nest device attached to kitchen wall. There is a gas fireplace located in the living room for a cosy warm evening.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
HOUSE RULES + REMINDERS
1) We recently poured our hearts into remodeling this as our second home, so please
be gentle with it and treat it as if it was your own.
2) The Beachside Retreat is located a few streets away from the freeway and train so,
there is a chance you will hear overflow noises from freeway traffic or the train.
3) No smoking in the unit or on the premises, including the outdoor patio.
4) No Pets Allowed.
5) Overall, the home should be left tidy. Dishes, pots/pans, etc. should be cleaned and
put away where you found them before you check-out. Please be sure to throw away
all trash into garbage bins outside before departure.
6) If you go to the beach, before entering the home please check your feet for tar,
shake off the towels, and brush sand off of yourselves. If you have tar on your feet,
please use the baby oil and cotton balls provided in the garage to remove. Stains
from tar will result in an addition fee.
7) Parking is provided on site in the attached indoor car Garage. Plus, there is an additional
uncovered parking space for (1) vehicle immediately adjacent to the grey fence of the back unit B, next to the backyard door of the back unit. Please be respectful of
neighbors and their dedicated parking areas. Failure to park in the reserved parking
spot or garage for our unit may result in your vehicle being towed.
8) Above all, enjoy your stay and make yourself comfortable during your visit! There will
be a Guestbook in the home that will include all additional details about the home,
the surrounding area, and recommendations for what to do around town. Review carefully: No parties or events allowed on the property.
