Discover the beauty of this safe and quiet neighborhood in Uptown, Minneapolis only blocks from numerous lovely lakes, Peace and Rose Garden and the iconic Lakewood Cemetery. This sunny one bedroom apartment is the upstairs of a duplex, beautiful hardwood floors, modern kitchen and bathroom with heated floors. Built in 1929, fully renovated with solar panels, all new windows, working fireplace. Plenty of on street parking and very walkable and safe neighborhood. The cozy bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the living room offers an additional full sofa bed for extra guests. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of this charming space, complete with AC, heating, a washing machine, hair dryer and WiFi. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. We live downstairs and have another VRBO rental if larger group is traveling.

My husband and I came to Minneapolis to visit family, and this second-floor space was perfect for us. The apartment is spacious, quiet, well-cared for. Good kitchen and comfortable beds. Great places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommend. We will check with them first the next time we visit.

If I were to describe this property in one word, it would be peaceful. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, nestled high among beautiful trees. The home was spotless and exactly as described … cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. I especially enjoyed a relaxing soak in the tub after a long day of travel. Everything about our stay was restful and easy … a lovely, tranquil experience from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect and recommendations for restaurants in walking distance were great. It was a wonderful neighborhood for walking and convenient to everything we wanted to see in Minneapolis.

Lovely home

Beautiful home. Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. Had one question about the shower that was resolved very quickly. Location made getting everywhere easy. Street parking was no problem . Walking distance to lakes. Host left notes on local eateries and suggestions. The pullout couch had a nice mattress which was a pleasant surprise!Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic home and location

We were delighted to stay at this location. Our host was very accommodating, even providing shelter during a tornado warning. She also provided a safe place to store our bicycles. She responded to texts promptly. The apartment is clean, comfortable, spacious, and equipped with everything that we needed. The gardens are beautiful, and the location is close to beautiful lakes and a cemetery. The area is great for walking, running, and cycling.

Hidden Gem

For me and my vacation-mates, this place was just perfect. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything we wanted to experience; restaurants, pubs, cafes, coffee shops, lakes, bookstores, busline. The place was just lovely. Very clean, comfortable and organized. It had everything we needed for our stay. The sofa-bed was extremely comfortable, so don't let that worry you. The owners live downstairs with two dogs, but that was not a problem at all; we only heard them when we came and went. They also have a charming kitty (Charlie) that often greeted us at the door. There is a garden in the back where you can sit and relax. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Kitchen had basic necessities, and more! Owner made sure we had tea, coffee and cream/sugar for our first morning!
Close by the hip and fun Uptown area, just south of downtown Minneapolis.

Spacious and well located

My girlfriend and I stayed with Annie for a weekend - we absolutely loved their space and location! It feels like you're walking into your own home - there's a living room, dining room, large kitchen, and the bedroom and bathroom are the perfect size. We loved walking to the lakes just a couple blocks over and all of the food and shopping on Hennepin. We even caught the bus to and from downtown Minneapolis just two blocks away.Annie was very communicative and did a great job accommodating our needs. We were in town for a wedding and she was prompt and proactive, providing using with a clothes steamer, blow dryer, and all the things we needed to get ready for a wedding.She has two large German Shepherds which live downstairs with her in her space, but we did get a chance to meet them one morning in the front yard. They're all bark, no bite. Two sweeties who just want to play fetch with you.Overall, an exceptional stay!
