Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was amazing. A few technical issues with the door entrance pass code and the Wi-Fi codes. They were resolved within minutes of calling the front desk. I would recommend this property to anyone. The only thing I would suggest would be adding paper towels and more trash bags in the condo. The trash bin was not close to the condo, so I had to put in my vehicle and drive around and find one to put the trash in.

Unfortunate

I have stayed an Sandpiper Cove at least 5 times over the years, if not more and I have had nothing but good experiences. Unfortunately, this time was different. The apartment look as described, no issues there, however on the first night I found dirty dishes in the pantry. Not huge deal, i always wash things before use anyway, but when I opened the dishwasher, a small roach fell out of it. Then about an hour later, another one showed up. I have never had to deal with bugs before. I ended up killing 6 small roaches during my stay and they were not limited to just the kitchen area. Another issue was the tub was clogged and drained very, very slow. Maintenance came out and fixed very fast which was a blessing. The rest of the stay was ok, just was disappointed, with the roaches. This was again, my first time having this issue. Not sure if I will stay again, but the condos for the most part are a nice place to stay.

Sliding glass door is so rusted hard to open, needs better lighting, master bed and mattress was horrible, shower in master needs updating as well. Would recommend black out curtains for spare bedroom.

I enjoyed my stay at the condo. I really appreciate the fact that they were able to change from the original condo that I booked which was upstairs. By the way, when I booked the property online it did not state that it was upstairs. I was traveling with my 82-year-old mother and would have not booked a unit with stairs. Our condo was in walking distance from the beach which was very nice. The only issue that I can remember is not being able to get the remote in the bedroom with the two beds to work properly and it would have been nice to have some type of curtain or covering on the window next to the front door. Overall, it was a great stay and very enjoyable. I let front desk know about the issues in our condo and they sent someone to repair them the same day. I would stay here again.

Side note the lady you go through to get more towels was one of the rudest people I have ever spoke to. I know that doesn’t reflect the rental but still had to say something because she was just that awful.

Love the location of property, but needs some TLC

Reviewer Comments: Killed 2 small cockroachs in master bathroomLamps did not work in spare , only 1 lamp worked in master.Toilet lid broken on one side with nut/bolt missingDryer did not shut off, worried it would overheat All the grout around showers very dirty/moldy.It needs a good deep cleaning, even though it was picked up. The carpets are totally black into the entrances of bedrooms.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sandpiper Cove at least six times per year the last few years. Almost every experience has been great and the units wonderful. This unit was a mess; TV cable did not work, electrical and lighting issues (possibly dangerous), holes in the wall, sliding door handle was broken (that was fixed on day three). We should have received some portion of a refund based on the condition of the unit. 9208 was not up to your normal standards. Too many hassles. I have photos on the issues that I can provide.

Great Time!

There were only a couple of things to complain about.... The storm door is on backwards, so it is a pain to get things in and out of the front door. In the master bed room.... the cable tv does not work and the mattress is VERY uncomfortable! (the sofa bed was more comfortable than master bed). None of those things stopped us from having a great time!

The condo is in a great location. My only complaints are that it needs some major updates. Some of the light switches have shortages, leaking refrigerator and leaking faucet. Overall it was a great time of the location.

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway!

My 4 teenagers and I booked this rental last minute for a spring break weekend. It was clean and very spacious. It was a bit dated but had everything we needed. The walk to the beach is just across the street so it was pretty convenient. Check in was easy and the staff are very friendly.

Awesome place to stay

I had my 83 year olds mother, who could barely climb 2 flights of stairs. I also stated we would be on the beach but instead we was across the street. The closest she could get was on the ramp. It need to be wheel chair accessible for handicap. Also, at check in they could be a little more precise as to all the games and activities offered. I only knew by conversation thru other guests.

Family beach vacation

We love the location of the condos. It sits right on the beach and is extremely easy to access the beach within just a minute walk across the street. We have stayed in Sandpiper Cove before but have never had to do the check in process at the office before so it would have been helpful if the security gate could direct you to the office instead of telling you where the condo was. I just assumed the door code was in the app but we had to then call and find out we needed to go to the office to check in. This unit we will not choose again. The fridge leaks onto the kitchen floor, the main bathroom shower we never could figure out how to get the water to get out of the shower head instead of a bath, the sliding glass door in the living room doesn’t shut tight and the lock does not work. The bed in the master is only a queen which I could have lived with but that bed and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. I will however say the place was clean and ready to go for our stay.
