Great location

This is our second stay at Sandpiper Cove. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location with lots to do. Will stay at this location again.

Nice Vacation Rental

Booked last minute for a Spring Break Trip for my Family of 7. The staff was great. The unit was everything we expected it to be and was able to accommodate us all comfortably. The location of this unit on the property was nice. The beds where a little to hard and not enough blankets so we purchased our own especially with the unit being so cold when we first arrived. Other than that this was an almost perfect stay.

CBedroom carpet needs replacing, could have been cleaner, bunk beds very uncomfortable, tv remotes are confusing.

Great location if you're bringing your boat!

We were able to park the boat trailer underneath the condo and park the boat right outside the condo in the canal. Not enough towels for the amount of people it sleeps and could use a deep clean, and a rice cooker! Other than that, I would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked this rental thru vrbo, selected the check out date 1 day earlier by accident, 7/28 instead of 7/29. I went back into my reservation to change it and the only option given was to send a change request to Sand Piper Cove, so i did. They called the next morning around 10:30 only to say, sorry this day is booked. It was available at the time I made my booking, i just fat fingered the calendar date on my iphone. I made the change request immediately after I noticed, which was 3:45 am. I was told the booking by someone else came in at like 9:05am that morning. So why was my change request not in queue ahead of that booking? So on Wednesday afternoon I called Sandpiper Cove as i saw they had a rental come open by the beach access. I called and was told, sorry we only do 3 night rentals. I replied i’m staying at your facility now and on my 4th night. Again, shut down and they would not rent me the unit for the 1 night. Frustrated, I canceled other events we had planned and we left Thursday morning. This is very bad customer service in my opinion.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I made reservation for October 2021, I requested unit 4109, the same unit we rented October 2020. I was told 4109 was not available as it was going to be owner occupied.We observed 5 to 6 different groups occupy 4109 during our stay. None of these occupants were the owner.I am disappointed we did not get the unit we wanted. We are disappointed Sandpiper Cove lied to us.I was told 4108 was as nice as last years unit 4109. Another lie. The furnishings in 4109 were much nicer than 4108.We like Sandpiper Cove but we were very disappointed we did not get the unit we requested and the lame excuse about its availability.

Great location!

Very happy with this property and location! The dock was perfect for us to keep our jet ski right by the condo. The amenities were fun. Easy walking distance to the beach. Only negative is the beds were wobbly but they were still comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Not what we expected

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have now stayed at Sandpiper Cove for the third time this year. I have to say this was the worst rental we have stayed in. I booked over the phone and thought I was getting the returning customer and better option as far as the condo goes, but e we did not. The place was outdated, every bed was on the brink of breaking and very squeaky. It wasn’t equipped with normal everyday items like the last 2 rentals (laundry baskets, furniture was in the way of every outlet, kitchen appliances were very outdated, very few options for pans, etc). I would recommend some updates for the next renters. We left salt and pepper for the next renter as well as some paper towels, paper plates, and plastic cups to help out for the future renters. Definitely not our favorite stay. But we managed.

Great location but missing essentials

The property was in a great location. The community has great amenities. However, the main office had signs saying masks required inside but no one on the staff was wearing masks The property wasn’t ready at the check in time The property was also missing other key essentials (no paper towels, laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, no salt & pepper ). We purchased some and left behind for next family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We picked this location for convenience for our boat. The trailer parking was on site as well as the dock and launch. Unheard of. But we got much more. There were things like the ice machine outside so we didn’t have to go to store for ice and multiple pools and even the beach with its own “concession stand” all in easy walking distance. Condo itself was clean and served its purpose. Only complaint is the line to the on site restaurant was often backed up quite a bit and was on the same route to get to our room so we had to wave off people that thought we were taking their parking spot and it took sometimes 20 minutes on a trip that should have taken 2 minutes.
