We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a couple of minor maintenance things that needed to be fixed, but overall a wonderful condo. It was a great unit. It had a nice balcony with a wonderful view. We would highly recommend it

Labor Day getaway

Booked a last minute Labor Day long weekend getaway with a friend. We enjoyed our stay very much. The views from the living room and porch were amazing. The unit was comfortable and clean. Only negative was the hall bath which was small and cramped. The location was excellent, and it was a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and other beach options.

Owner was very friendly and understanding when we had car trouble

On the way there we had some car trouble and arrived a day late. The owner was very understanding and loved our arrival and departure a day so we still got the same amount of time there. There is some construction going on at the complex for much needed updates.

You can do better for the money

I'm going to provide an accurate description for those who search looking for the perfect view for the 1 week a year you spend at the beach. You walk in the door and there is a huge closet that separates all of the rooms. The living room furniture is falling apart. The balcony chairs are not steady. The kitchen has no ice maker. Counters, dishwasher and all are fine. There were 2 regular coffee cups and a lot of tiny tea cups. There are not enough bowls in the unit for a family of 5 to all have cereal at the same time. The dining room floor is broken in one spot. The master room furniture is huge and I'm 130 lb and had to turn to get to the other side of the bed. The bed feels like a brick. There were only 2 thin blankets for the 1 teen who slept on the couch. Bedding in master is very thin if your cold natured. The light switch by the bed-only 1 plug works. The shower in the master room leaks. There are several leaky repair spots on the ceiling of the condo. You can't sleep late or go to bed early because you can hear everything from the outside. The view is good. Which is why I booked this condo. It appears to be more private. But it's not. There are ships/ boats/ shuttles bringing people to this part of the ocean all day long. You can't sit on the balcony and hear waves. Distance is to far. Your required to pay a cleaning fee and the place wasn't clean. I would not recommend this for a stay. You can do better with the money this one cost.

It was nice but...

Location great, it was clean, nice pool but while outside i notice tall jacks holding the building up. I side our condo the floors were buckling and i do have to say I was concerned. It is a very nice condo and communication was easy and friendly.

Great experience

This condo was absolutely lovely! My mother in law could watch us play on the beach from the living room, which she enjoyed. The location was great, the pool and facilities were clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Anniversary weekend

The condo was fabulous. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. Location has its own private beach, lots of room, full kitchen and w/d. Ease of access to attractions amd local shopping.

Spring Break Relaxation

Great location. Off the main drag just enough to be calm and mostly quiet. Excellent beach access and super easy check in and parking. We would stay here again.

Classmates getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay in Destin at SkyRun Vista with friends. We rented two different condo's in the same building due to the number in our party. This condo was clean with the bare essentials available. The space was great, and the view was beautiful. It was really hot in August, not sure what we were thinking, but the air conditioner never failed us. When I needed something Elizabeth with quick to answer - I really appreciated her. Compared to the other condo in the building for less price, this one could use some updating. The older furniture and bathrooms make it look less desirable, but it had been cleaned well. There is no ice maker and we could have used a pitcher and mixing bowls. But overall we would stay there again.

Great Experience!

Great overall experience! The condo was exactly as listed. Very clean! Loved that it was gated. The view from the balcony was great! Beach access was only a few feet away. Property management checked in during the visit and were very responsive. Would definitely recommend this listing and look forward to returning!

We will be back

We loved the location and the commnication was so great. From day one if we needed anything they responded quickly. Only thing we suggest is the outdoor patio furniture made us a little nervous having a toddler since it was as tall as the railing. Maybe shorter table and chairs there. But overall an amazing stay. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully to the same place.

Great little condo with fantastic location & views

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this condo. The kids loved that after a long day’s adventures, we could walk down to the beach and they could play in the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. There was also a little beach in the bay more protected from waves.

Dirty Unit, Needing Updates and Repairs

Main bathroom door was broken, would not shut. Sliding glass door in living room was very hard to open, needs to be fixed. All furniture is in desperate need of updating, the wicker chairs in the living room are uncomfortable and coming unraveled. Chairs in dining area are stained and filthy, I had to place towels over all the seats so we could sit on them. Flooring in living room was damaged, broken piece that we had to place a chair over so our toddler didn’t cut her foot. Master bathroom bathtub/shower looks like it’s from 1987 and dirty, wore flip flops to take a shower. The floors in the unit were so dirty my toddler’s feet were literally black on the bottom when she ran around barefoot. The baseboards were disgusting. The white walls had dirt smeared all over them. Overall the cleanliness of this unit was absolutely unacceptable. The beach directly behind the condos belong to Emerald Grande, so in order to enjoy the beach we had to walk forever in the sand to get to a spot. This was by far the worst, dirtiest and most outdated place we have ever stayed in Destin.
