About this property

Peaceful Lakes Region Escape| Boat Dock Option

You arrive to a quiet stretch of road where the trees stand tall and the day immediately slows. The Hearth & Pine House sits comfortably here—welcoming, calm, and designed for time together. There’s no rush. Just space to settle in and let the rhythm of the area guide your stay.

Mornings often begin outside, coffee in hand beneath the covered pergola. Whether the sun is shining or rain drifts softly through the trees, it’s a place that invites you to linger. The firepit waits nearby, and the yard feels open and relaxed—perfect for unhurried conversations or a quiet start to the day.

Inside, the home feels easy and well-balanced. Light filters through large windows into the open living space, where comfortable seating makes it natural to gather. The kitchen anchors the house, ready for shared breakfasts, simple lunches, and dinners that stretch a little longer than planned. The dining table becomes the center of the day—meals, games, plans for tomorrow.

With three private bedrooms, everyone has space to retreat when needed. The private primary suite features an en-suite bathroom with a double-sink vanity, walk-in closet, and separate shower/toilet area for added privacy. Evenings bring a gentle shift in pace. Some nights end with stories around the fire, others with a quiet movie or a glass of wine under the pergola as the air cools. The house settles into stillness easily, offering restful nights and deep sleep.

Days here are flexible. Beaches, hiking trails, and Castle in the Clouds are just down the road, close enough to explore without effort. If you’ve brought a boat, an optional slip nearby makes lake days simple. If not, the surrounding towns, shoreline walks, and scenic drives offer plenty to discover.

This is a home made for slowing down—comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up for gathering without distraction. A place where mornings are unhurried, evenings are calm, and time feels like it finally stretches out the way it should.

Peaceful & Relaxing

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this house. The patio was particularly lovely to sit out in the evenings and listen to the loons. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful home

My fiance and I stayed here for 5 days. The place is absolutely beautiful. The bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. It was very clean. Only a few small complaints. The livingroom with the TV is set up a little awkwardly. for seeing the tv. Plus there is no curtains or shades on the sliding glass doors so when the sun comes through it is blinding. There is also a solar light outside that turns on when the sun goes down, and that blares in your face as you are trying to watch tv. There were also no cooking untensils to speak of and very few pots/pans to cook with. Also, it advertises a sauna, but we could not find it. I didn't message and ask the host, so maybe it is there, but we didn't see it anywhere. Other than that this place is perfect. It is beyond stunning inside and out. The host was great and very responsive to messages as well.

We had a great time at the property! It is beautiful and new. There’s plenty of room in the backyard. There is no immediate water access unless you pay the dock fee per day. There are plenty of public beaches nearby. The town of Meredith is awesome. It’s about 20-25 minutes away from the house as well as Moulton farm for fresh produce and meat, which is about 15 minutes away from the house. Patricia is a great host and very communicative.
