Lakehouse in Gilford sits on 100’ private beach and includes dock slip!

The house sits on 100 feet of sandy beach on Lake Winnipesaukee with Western exposure and beautiful sunsets. In the Summer (Memorial Day-end of September), you have access to a dock slip for a boat up to 24ft on the property-one whole side of the dock. (The other side of the dock is used by a neighboring house). Bring your boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes! It's a great family neighborhood. We believe the property is best suited for families with children. Enjoy reading a book by the water, walking to Sawyers for ice cream, or even Bank of NH Pavillion for a concert. We recommend soaking up the sunsets on the beach with loved ones.

End of June, July, and August we rent Friday to Friday.
The rest of the year, we have 2, 3, or 4 night minimum depending on long weekends, holiday school breaks, etc. Reach out with questions!

In the Winter, if conditions are safe, enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, and ice skating right in front of the house! You can ski Gunstock as it's less than 10 minutes away! You can also walk down to the Gilford Town outdoor rink on our street when temperatures are cold enough to make ice! The Merrill Fay ice arena in Laconia is a short drive away too.

When you request to book, please tell us the purpose of your visit, who will be staying on the property, and if in the Summer, if you will be bringing a boat. We offer a 10% discount on your stay if you book a 2nd week.

We are open to a 2026 long-term Summer rental. Please send an inquiry with details such as, who would be staying, what type and size of boat, and what weeks you are looking at. Thank you!

Perfect For our family!

This house was perfect for our family - both in size, open layout and location. The private beach and lake access were ideal and we spent a lot of time out there.

Amazing lake house

The cottage is terrific. It is right on the lake with a wonderful beach. The owners are so nice and easy to work with. The cottage was extremely clean. We can't wait to rent again.

Great beach location

We stayed here with our 2 children (ages 5 & 3) and they absolutely loved it. The sandy beach was perfect and they spent all day every day playing on the beach and in the water. The inside of the house was very well done and the kitchen very modern. It was the perfect location for us and would definitely stay here again if looking for a place in this area.

A great place to stay

The cottage was pleasant and well kept. The owner was very hospitalbe. lovely beach and close to the boat works which was good for us taking our boat in and out.

This home was immaculate. It didn’t need to be, because the lot, and the view, and the lake were all SPECTACULAR. This home is updated, decorated beautifully, and just over the top perfect. We loved our time here!

Family Stay On the Lake

This property was great for our family. We had 5 adults and one child (3yo). The property is right on the lake with two bedrooms having great views. It is across from a big boat yard and not as secluded as you would imagine but it didn't effect our stay at all. We had a great time at the house and would book again.

Amazing vacation spot!

We had such a great time! The house was perfect but beach was our favorite part. Great for lounging and the kids to play. No complaints whatsoever! The host was very responsive. We hope to rent again next year!!

Fantastic house on the beach

This house is perfect! It’s spacious, clean, and literally right on the water. It was so nice to sit on the sand and watch my family kayak while I read and napped. There were no annoying bugs, the area is fairly quiet, and extremely relaxing. I easily could’ve stayed another week. Jillian is a fantastic host. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Perfect lake house getaway

If you want a vacation on the lake, there is literally no better spot. Being able to walk from the porch to the sand of a private beach just can’t be beat. We had our kids with us (5 years old and a 6 months old—our first trip with the new one), and as every parent knows, having to travel any amount of time with young ones is quite an ordeal—there was none of that here. The house was perfect, and Jillian was an excellent communicator for every little question we had along the way. If you’re looking to vacation on Lake Winnipesaukee, stop looking. This is the right choice.

Beautiful Lakefront House

This property was exactly as advertised. The private beach was huge and fantastic to enjoy the lake. The dock was also great. The house was very clean and clutter free. There were many nice touches like games for the kids and a washer & dryer. Overall the house had all the needed amenities, it was easy to prepare meals but there was no cabinet space to put any dry goods which just ended up on counters and the window seat. Extra food storage would be super helpful. One thing to consider is the seating in the main living room. It may be worthwhile to get a sectional for more comfortable seating. The leather couch was really nice but not conducive to a family of six to comfortably watch a movie together. Everyone was awkwardly spread out. The owners were very responsive, friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this to other families that are looking for a relaxing lake vacation. It's really a fantastic property.

Amazing home right on the water

It’s rare to find a place for vacation where you can truly relax with young kids but this home provided that and more. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s clean, comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. Close to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and shopping but what really makes this house is the fact that the backyard is beachy sand leading into crystal clear shallow water without any rocks in the way. My kids couldn’t get enough playing in the sand, swimming, fishing, and jumping off the dock. We rented a boat for the day and had an amazing time going to weirs beach for ice cream and the arcade. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook. There’s sand toys, a hammock, a grill, plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, and shade! Our younger kids could take their naps inside while we sat out by the water with the monitor….truly a gem of a place. And Jillian was an amazingly helpful host and was very responsive. The only downfall was that we didn’t book it for longer! We can’t wait to be back!! Thanks Jillian for giving our family memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime!
