Beautiful home for friends or family gatherings
A great place for family gatherings! Very clean and spacious. Had trouble with coffee maker and Drew was there with a new one. Highly recommend it.
Great house!! Great view!
This house was a perfect fit for our reunion of 14. Clean & comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace. For future renters, there is 1 bedroom with a queen bed on the ground floor with a full bath & a half bath across the room. Then 2nd floor there are 2 king bedrooms & a bedroom with 2 queen beds, all with en suites. On the 3rd floor there is a bedroom with 2 twin beds & a bunk room with 4 bunk beds ( there are 2 trundles as well but we did not use). These 2 rooms share one very nice sized bathroom. There is also a deck off the 3rd floor bedrooms & a deck on the main floor. 2 very substantial dining tables each can accommodate 10 people. Home is very spacious. Parking for 26A allows for 5 cars. Nice kitchen with plenty of plates, pots & pans. Great island & 2 dishwashers. Fire pit & grill outside. 2 washer/dryer sets-one on first floor & one on second floor. Directions for house were very good & easy to get in with the house code-no need to worry about losing a house key. We would absolutely stay here again. Down the street is the Bait Shed-wonderful lobsters. 2 blocks to lovely beach walk. We did need more washcloths & hand towels for the house & there is a very large step up to the front door. A handrail might be helpful. There is a side entrance to the porch that can be used for anyone unable to navigate the high front step. Drew (the owner) was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Wonderful restaurants in Portland. All in all a great trip!!
We had quite a crew, close to 20 people and not once did anybody conplaine with the
We were all extemely pleased with the overall appearance, location, and cleanliness
of the house.
We would definately consider the unit next year.
Our family had a lovely time staying here it was all we thought it would be. We had one small problem and called the owner and he came over and fixed it right away. He was very friendly and understanding about the problem. I would stay here again it was located right were we needed to be for what we all wanted to do. The rooms where big and plenty of closet space. The only thing we wished we had were a few larger skillets for the size of our family it was a little difficult to cook all we wanted to do in the smaller ones.
Great Memorial Day Weekend!
Beautifully appointed home and the screened in porch was perfect for eating outside, relaxing and playing games. The layout was perfect for our group of five couples.
The location was perfect too - easy access to Portland, Kennebunkport, walking distance to Old Orchard and just down the road from the bike path.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend!
Beautiful house and location
I spent a week here in late February with friends and our families and loved it. No complaints at all about the house; large kitchen with two dishwashers, cozy bedrooms, and an abundance of bathrooms. Everything is in good repair. The beach house decorating theme is well-done. The kids loved the third story bunkroom, getting to play and sleep with their friends in a room all their own was a fun adventure for them. The gas fireplace in the living room is a nice feature in the winter. The two sizeable decks and outdoor firepit I could imagine being wonderful in warmer months. The owner was responsive and helpful in my communications with him.
Pine Point is beautiful and this house is right there, easy to walk to the beach, and the property overlooks the marsh. A friend who loves birdwatching had a fantastic time. The only problem with going in the winter is most of the immediately local restaurants are still closed for the season, but Scarborough and Portland have tons to offer, you just have to drive a little ways away from the house. Overall, a great place to stay to be near the coast or in the greater Portland area.
