Our family had a lovely time staying here it was all we thought it would be. We had one small problem and called the owner and he came over and fixed it right away. He was very friendly and understanding about the problem. I would stay here again it was located right were we needed to be for what we all wanted to do. The rooms where big and plenty of closet space. The only thing we wished we had were a few larger skillets for the size of our family it was a little difficult to cook all we wanted to do in the smaller ones.
Great Memorial Day Weekend!
Beautifully appointed home and the screened in porch was perfect for eating outside, relaxing and playing games. The layout was perfect for our group of five couples.
The location was perfect too - easy access to Portland, Kennebunkport, walking distance to Old Orchard and just down the road from the bike path.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend!
Beautiful house and location
I spent a week here in late February with friends and our families and loved it. No complaints at all about the house; large kitchen with two dishwashers, cozy bedrooms, and an abundance of bathrooms. Everything is in good repair. The beach house decorating theme is well-done. The kids loved the third story bunkroom, getting to play and sleep with their friends in a room all their own was a fun adventure for them. The gas fireplace in the living room is a nice feature in the winter. The two sizeable decks and outdoor firepit I could imagine being wonderful in warmer months. The owner was responsive and helpful in my communications with him.
Pine Point is beautiful and this house is right there, easy to walk to the beach, and the property overlooks the marsh. A friend who loves birdwatching had a fantastic time. The only problem with going in the winter is most of the immediately local restaurants are still closed for the season, but Scarborough and Portland have tons to offer, you just have to drive a little ways away from the house. Overall, a great place to stay to be near the coast or in the greater Portland area.
Perfect home for a Portland getawat!
We rented this beautiful home for a gathering of friends & central hub for getting in and out of Portland. The house was amazing, comfortably slept 18 adults, and the 5 bathrooms made getting ready extremely easy considering the size of our group.
The amenities within the house are gorgeous with plenty of space to sit, relax, and enjoy a meal together.
The only thing that was a bummer is that it was the middle of the winter and we couldn’t utilize the huge outdoor spaces on 1st and 3rd floors.
We will definitely consider revisiting this house during the summer months.
Beautiful views of the marshes.
Well laid out for large groups, particularly in the summer when you can use the big porch with a table that seats 10. comfortable beds and plenty of parking,
What a beautiful spot!
We are a group of 5 couples staying here for three nights in October. The house is lovely, easily accommodated us and we were particularly thrilled to have a great kitchen (we love to cook!) and every couple had their own bath. The views out over the marsh and river from the porch, deck and yard are spectacular. Lots of birds, beautiful sunsets and the sound of freight trains in the distance. We could walk to beach side of Pine Point, and though the weather was gorgeous, it was too cold for swimming, but we took several lovely walks on the beach. We also spent an afternoon in the Old Port in Portland. Everything worked great and looked great - high end finishes galore. We will be back next year, for sure.
