Very Private, Close to all Glenwood attractions, Dogs welcome. 420 friendly!

Located in Glenwood Springs, this light filled basement studio apartment is a dream. With a cozy private atmosphere and all the essentials including a washing machine, dryer, and high speed WiFi, Keypad door lock. Pets are welcome for an extra $50 per stay fee (see under fees). There is a large fenced in yard for dogs to safely roam. I do the poop scooping. The kitchen is a small one but has a toaster, microwave, fridge, hotplate, coffee pot, and small sink.There is also an 18’ Tipi and a sweat lodge on the property for you to enjoy any time. I will build a fire in the Tipi and supply wood for $30. I will also host a Sweat in my unique sweat lodge for $100. This place is close to town but feels very private. Only about one mile to the Hot Springs and to Glenwood Adventure Park. There is a very special peaceful vibe about this place. And the perfect base for all your biking, hiking, skiing, rafting, swimming , golfing or paragliding adventures!!!!

The place is so cute and comfortable with great vibes. David and Cat were great hosts, so sweet and gracious. Our dogs loved it, we will definitely stay here again when we are in Glenwood.

Glenwood Springs Adventure stay

The location was amazing. We were minutes away from the hot springs and the adventure park. The view from the property was beautiful and I really enjoyed spending time in different unique areas of the yard to take it in. There's a hammock to relax and sitting areas to read or take in the view or in my case meditate. If you're looking for a unique place to stay and have a small group this place is for you!

This place was the cherry on top of a great weekend away in Glenwood. The property was a blast for our preschool boy! He loved everything from the tee-pee & the sand pit to the fairy gardens & bunkbed-his imagination was running all weekend. We were greeted by the hosts who made us immediately feel welcomed into their clean, safe, simple, easy to get to space. Traveling with an infant (1 year) isn’t easy but the coziness & simplicity of this space made it possible. We hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic and unique place!

We had an amazing time staying here! This is such a unique property. They have a little hobbit hole outside by a campfire pit, a teepee, a hammock, and a sand pit for digging! This place is fantastic for kids. My 4 and 2 year olds absolutely loved the sand pit and the treehouse bunk bed! There are also some very scenic views of the mountains and it's located super close to the hot springs pool and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend at this property! The unit had everything we needed. We really appreciated the coffee, water in the fridge, and general basic kitchen items. The outdoor space was peaceful with beautiful views. This property was perfect for us to visit nearby Glenwood attractions. The hosts were communicative and available if we had any questions. The hosts were amazing ! We stayed a couple nights, and really loved the yard and dog run that was available for our puppy to run around in. He doesn’t have a yard at home so the space was amazing for him. The place was cozy and we had a couple chats with the hosts while out in their yard. Whenever we come back to Glenwood, we’re going to look to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at this property in Glenwood Springs last week. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed — from a fully stocked kitchen to extra towels and cozy blankets. The location couldn’t have been better — close to downtown, the hot springs, and plenty of great restaurants, yet peaceful and private enough to really unwind.The hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly, checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The attention to detail really stood out — from the welcoming touches when we arrived to the clear instructions for check-in and checkout.After long days exploring the area, it was wonderful to come back to such a comfortable space. We especially loved relaxing on the patio and taking in the mountain views.I’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Glenwood Springs. Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Friendly and Convenient

David and his wife were friendly and helpful. There was some fruit, granola bars, tea, coffee, ice, and cold water.In addition, there are plenty of towels, pillows, and kitchenware. I also appreciated that there wasn't a long list of cleaning chores expected when we left. I would stay here again.

Hey, I’m David. I was born here in Glenwood and have lived here my whole life. My Dad built this house in 1968. I was a carpenter for 44 years but I finally got to retire. I live here with my wife, Kat and our 2 dogs. I love nature and all outdoor activities, especially sailing. I also love music and play the flute.

Why they chose this property

This is a great spot because it close to town but you don’t feel crowded. Close to the Hot Springs and many other cool outdoor activities.

What makes this property unique

I think you will love our Tipi and outdoor space. Kat loves to play in her fairy gardens. A great place for kids and dogs.
