We very much enjoyed our stay at Aria’s Loft. The space was comfortable, the garden beautiful, and the owners were able to accommodate our e-bikes in the ground-level storage area (where they also provide two regular bikes for guest use).

Visit was too short!

This place is a perfect choice if you like a historic town center and the ability to walk there for shops, food, coffee, parks. It was great. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable. The little balcony overlooking the street is lovely.

Welcoming and great location

Lovely visit at Aria's Loft. We were in Carbondale for an extended time to support family who welcomed a new baby to their family. Location and walkability were primary and finding a comfortable space in the center of town was perfect. We walked everywhere and enjoyed meals downtown and in the loft. The kitchen was well stocked, thick towels and good water pressure and a comfortable bed. The nights were cool, so the windows stayed open. Just an overall lovely place to rest after a full day of grandparenting. Thanks so much.

Novel Research

Wonderful property in great condition and perfect location for our needs, which was to research the Carbondale Library for a sci-fi YA novel with the working title "Vertical Transmission". A thousand years from now, civilization gone, current technology lost and forgotten. Three tweens find the library.

Very Satisfied

My wife and I stayed for 21 nights in February 2025, and really enjoyed ourselves. The place was as-advertised, clean, well appointed and wonderful hosts. We have family in Carbondale, and we'll definitely consider The Loft for subsequent visits!

Beautiful place, fabulous location

We loved this spot. The apartment is beautifully designed and decorated. The location is two blocks from Main street with restaurants, coffee shops, theaters, two blocks from the library and a community center with gym and pool. Marti was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The loft is a perfect location for navigating main street. It was easy to find and the loft had everything we needed. Even chopsticks for our Chinese take out were brought back our first night.

The beauty and outdoor activities of the Roaring Fork Valley attracted us in 1974 where we settled into the community of Carbondale. At that time we found property in the old core of town which now provides the ambiance and convenient walking access to restaurants, theater, shops, biking trails and bus stops just two blocks from Aria’s Loft. We hope you spend time enough in Carbondale and the surrounding river valleys and spectacular mountains to absorb the small town community vibe that attracted us so many years before. Check out the local calendar of events that will draw you into the local scene. Don’t miss the local arts scene, the summer farmer’s market and music in the park and in winter the festive downtown light decorations and ice skating rink. Travel to our surrounding communities of Glenwood Springs and soak in the Hot Springs, drive along the scenic Crystal River to the historic coal mining village of Redstone, visit Basalt on your way to Aspen for world class winter skiing or the summer classical music festival.

Locally renowned custom builder, Chuck Bauer, took advantage of the close proximity to the Downtown Core to incorporate his love of design with the natural environment unique to this garden-centric property. The final project is a stunning architectural beauty.
