Newly built, this home features new appliances, gas fireplace, washer-dryer, and in floor heating. Also featured is a private, south facing patio.

Lovely Clean Warm Friendly Private

This was perfect for us through a 33-day stay in Vancouver. Our hosts Jenny and Linda were kind and thoughtful and the property (which they’ve only recently expanded and refurbished) was comfortable and easy to run. The neighbourhood is quiet and wonderfully tree-lined everywhere, which suited us well (Canada trees in autumn 🍂🍂 - a riot of glorious colour!). And it was only a short run to good food shops and to the more buzzy parts of the city. We highly recommend this place to stay and feel at home.

Vancouver Traveller Accommodation/Bed and Breakfast is run mainly by two sisters, Linda and Jenny. We have been lived in Vancouver for over 30 years so we know Vancouver well. We run a bed and breakfast in the main house and the cottage is a vacation rental. We are an eco-friendly accommodation. In addition to the regular reduce, reuse and recycling, we put in a geothermal system for our hot water and in-floor heating/cooling to reduce our carbon footprint.



Please note that we are a pet-free & smoke-free environment. Our rooms are upstairs so we are unable to accommodate guests in wheelchairs.

The cottage is brand new (finished in 2016) and it has all the amenities you need in addition to being in a great location.

What makes this property unique

For your stay in the cottage, you will not generate any carbon footprint if you don't use the gas fireplace. The hot water and the in-floor heating/cooling are generated by geothermal energy system (a renewable source of energy) and supported by electricity. The cottage itself has no mechanical system so it is very quiet.
