We had a wonderful stay at Drake’s Escape. Our kids’ baseball team spent the week at Cooperstown All Star Village. Two of our families shared this property, and two others shared the adjacent cabin. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed two picnics at the pavilion out back. Linda’s hospitality is outstanding. We are grateful for our time here and absolutely recommend Drake’s Escape to future CASV families.

This place is so perfect for people with kids! Stay with a group and rent out all 3 homes. The kids loved the outside area, and the whole property was perfect for a Cooperstown stay!

Great home and the pavillion was such a nice add on for a team gathering! Parks and restaurants were also close by and Linda is a fantastic host!

We stayed here while our son was at All Star Village. We enjoyed the green space and the house was just what we needed for the week.

The house was as described. There was plenty of room for four adults. There were adequate number of towels and bedding. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom was spacious.

Linda is a great and informative host of this great property that we rented for my son’s trip to Cooperstown All Star Village. The property is as advertised and was perfect for my family. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great Location

The house is located fairly close to All Star Village and many local restaurants and shops. The house was clean and worked well for our stay. Owner was very responsive.

Had a great stay here for my son’s baseball tournament. Convenient location. Linda was awesome to work with. Would highly recommend the house and would definitely stay there again.

We always leave the door unlocked and the keys on the end table. Of course you can keep it locked when you are occupying the home. This is a safe neighborhood and this is how we do it. The kitchen to the house is a great size. Perfect for hanging out with your family or friends especially on a rainy day.

Was an amazing set up for teams families to stay near each other.

The set up with the two cottages on site is awesome. We stayed in the house and had other families from The team in the cottages it worked out great for a team gathering. Tons of space for lots of families to enjoy. The house is in a great location and Linda was very helpful and was there if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this place.

Oneonta Thanksgiving 2023

We traveled from the Pacific Coast to visit future family for Thanksgiving. The home was just what we needed for a group of four. We used the kitchen to help prepare dishes for the meal. Great place.

Linda’s property was perfect for our week at All Star Village and only a 10-15 minute drive from the baseball field. Although we didn’t spend much time at the house during the day it was a great space. The yard would be perfect to hang out in and play some wiffle ball. The house was stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend drakes escape!

Property was perfect!

We rented this property to watch my son play at All-Star Village. It was 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. Great quiet neighborhood. Host was amazing!

Thank you for staying with us. Yes it is a nice neighborhood, away from everything. Yet, only minutes away from all stores. If you take the highway that goes around our small city, All-Star Village is only 5 to 7 minutes away. We hope you come again!!!!!!

Great Spot for All Star Village

The house was great for the 4 of us during the All Star Village tournament, and had room for the 5th once he was done playing. The outdoor space was good for whiffleball and football for the kids. Linda was great, very responsive.

Beautiful yard and pavilion for our baseball team gatherings!

Our host Linda was amazing! She gave us great recommendations for local food spots and points of interest. She was always super quick to respond and the house was spotless. The house was very comfortable and had a huge kitchen. We loved the super large backyard which had a tire swing and basketball hoop too. Would definitely recommend this spot!

My husband and I live in Oneonta. I have been a local person all my life. I went to school in Cooperstown and I went to college in Oneonta. I am a bank of information for directions and fun things to do around here. We love to travel and I have some of my photographs in the house. I hope you enjoy them.

I raised my three children in this home. We have wonderful memories that were made here. I've always welcomed everyone in my house. I hope to welcome you. I have made the home cozy and comfortable for you. Oneonta is a great place to live. I have traveled all over the world, yet, we chose to live here.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Once you wind your way down the streets to the house, one forgets that you are in the city of Oneonta. My children learned to ride bikes on the dead end street. It was a place that they could run and play outside and I didn't have to worry about them. This house was where all their friends were welcome and family happened here! My grown children are excited that I have started this project and I am opening up our home so others can enjoy it.
Oneonta and surroundings offers a lot of entertainment. Some examples are: Oneonta Tigers (minor league baseball team) games in the park down the road, two beautiful parks, Orpheus Theatre, Franklin Play Company, Glimmerglass Opera, many small lakes to visit, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame (of course), The Farmer's Museum, The Fennimore House, and much more!!!!!!!!!
