The house is even cuter than it looks in the pictures, and the location couldn't be better, right on the lake with a little sandy beach. We had a busy agenda but we all wished there was more time to just hang out at the house :)
Great get away spot!! The clear water backyard pond was enjoyed by the children and the seniors.Very clean interior that is well appointed. Three bedrooms, all with Queen beds. Plenty of seating space for the 6 of us. Enjoyed having morning coffee and meals on the deck. Our second visit to this spot. Both times very enjoyable.

This is the third year that we have rented this property and it never disappoints. Very clean, convenient and comfortable (some nice new furnishings this year). The pond is so great for swimming and kayaking.

Thank you Emily! So glad you enjoyed yourself and the updated furnishings.
This is my family's third stay and we are never disappointed. The house has everything you may need and the owners are wonderful to interact with. Wr will be back again.
Very clean, very modern, well stocked with everything we needed and very well decorated. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The owner was communicative. Nice deck on the second floor overlooking the water, and two of the bedrooms had sliders that opened with views and access right to the pond. Would definitely stay here again!
My adult kids and I found this property to be peaceful and set up well. Everything was as described. I especially liked how the sleeping arrangements were mainly on first floor, that helped keep things quiet for those early to bed. We were so busy touring around we didn’t stay up late due to pure exhaustion.
We were in town for a family memorial and needed a central point to stay with easy access to the Cape area and Boston. This location worked out very well! We not only got to to our locations easily but we were so relieved to have a place that felt like home! Mary was a joy to work with! Thanks!
and was so peaceful and quiet to return to
A nice home on the pond made for a great vacation.
The location is wonderful and the pond was warm and we could swim all day. The house is very comfortable and the deck was great to eat breakfast, lunch and enjoy the views. Mary the owner was very responsive with any questions we had and made our vacation stress free. The kayak and canoe were fun and we actually had a paddle board delivered to the house as well. We would definitely recommend this for families of all ages and will be coming back again.

We are so glad everything worked out for you. Thank you for assembling the new fan for the lower level!! We look forward to seeing you next year!
I rented this property for a summer family getaway with my sister, our husbands and several adult kids. The owner is very easy to communicate with and checkin was straightforward. The house itself is efficiently designed, with living areas on the upper floor and the bedrooms on the lower level. It was very clean, well- stocked with cooking utensils and tableware, and had plenty of seating indoors and on the lovely deck. There were great views of the lake from the house and deck. We spent a lot of time floating, kayaking and swimming in the pond; the water is very clean and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay!

A good location to recreate
The property is located in a very nice area at little sandy pond. There is everything in the house you need. The listing description was absolut accurate regarding the location. Everything was clean and mostly well-maintained. Some partly renovations are necessary in the coming future (especially the windows in the bedrooms).
The owners are very helpful and do everything for a pleasant stay.
We surely would recommend this property to friends or relatives.
We had a wonderful time during our week at the pond! Our boys spent about 8 hours a day every day in the water, giving us the pleasure of sitting on the deck and observing from above. The house felt like a home-- everything you could have wanted in the kitchen was available, the living room was comfortable and lots and lots of water toys and materials.
Amazingly enough, even though the temperatures hovered near 90 while we were there, the bedrooms were cool and comfortable without air conditioning. There is lots of shade on the deck and it all came together perfectly for a quiet, relaxing completely self-contained week.
The owner was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay and I hope we'll have the opportunity to rent again!

Kevin, we hope to see you again as well. We love it when the house works as well for other families as it does for us. Be safe out there!
Very easy to communicate with host. Host very accommodating to our young children in the group ( 3 years, 7 and 10 months). Provided pac and play and high chair.
All beds comfortable, including sofa bed.
Home cool with existing air unit, fans and dehumidifier and it was an extremely hot week.
Only thing that I would change about the listing is that it can accommodate 8 people, not 10, as the trundle bed is in the main walking space and there is no privacy.People must walk by this bed to get to their bedroom. It can be noisy.
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 adult children, their spouses, and our 2 small grandchildren (3yrs, 10mos). Their was plenty of room for all of us to relax comfortably in the living space on the 1st floor. The downstairs has 3 spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage for our clothes. The downstairs bathroom was also a good size. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The deck has plenty of seating to enjoy looking at the pond. Our older grandson loved digging in the sand outside and fishing with his father and grandfather. The pond is very clean and warm, great for swimming. The drive to Plymouth center was about 20-25 minutes where we enjoyed the sites, history and some really great restaurants. Mary was very easy to communicate with and responsive to all our questions, a great host - highly recommend! Thank you Mary! We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent week on the pond! My husband & I were there with our young adult children and their friends. During the week we ranged from 4 - 6 occupants & there was plenty of room for all. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space and all had ceiling fans for those warm nights. Two of the bedrooms have sliders out to the backyard with a beautiful view of the pond! We were able to enjoy a few sunrises by literally rolling out of bed & walking a few steps!
There is a large deck off of the living room as well as a fire pit in the back, both of which we enjoyed.
Late nights we played board games or watched 1883 together - the living & dining areas were laid out perfectly for our gatherings & the furniture was very comfortable. The pond is crystal clear and we spent many hours kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The home is about 20-25 minutes away from downtown Plymouth and we enjoyed shopping & dining on the waterfront. It’s also close to attractions & restaurants in Onset and Mary, our host, was happy to make some dining recommendations. Mary was very responsive & easy to communicate with. Thank you Mary! We loved our stay and highly recommend this home.

Thank you Lisa. I’m just pleased that you and your family had such an enjoyable vacation to enjoy each other and replenish. Thanks also for being so easy to communicate with. Take good care as please come again! We’d love to have you.

This is my family’s second year renting this hone and we love it! The pond is wonderful for swimming, floating and kayaking. The house is very clean and comfortable with big tables indoors and out for dining together. A wonderful, relaxing week!
My family had a wonderful time staying in this home. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of room. We liked the large tables both in the dining room and on the deck. The pond was incredibly clean with a great area for swimming. The kids were in the water for hours every day and enjoyed both the kayak and the canoe. We would absolutely stay on this property again.
We loved being right on the pond. My son-in-law enjoyed the kayak and the fishing, my grandchildren the beach and swimming, and we enjoyed the yard for cornhole and fun and games. It was private yet close to restaurants and the grocery store. It’s a much easier trip not crossing the bridge.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, living space and deck were very nice. The only thing that was a challenge is as a family your bringing lots of stuff. Food, fishing equipment, lawn games, etc. and we needed to store things in the car. I would prefer less dishes and glassware for more storage space. However we figured it out and had a great week.
Mary was wonderful.
Owners live just 1 hour from the property. They are lawyers, one of whom has a private law firm and the other is a retired as Vice President of a New England charitable foundation.
Why they chose this property
The Onset and upper Cape area is home to our grandparents and a huge family. We have a lifetime of great memories of summers on the Cape. So we bought this home to ensure the traditions continue into the future generations. Since we live only one hour from the property in Cranston RI our family enjoys this fully equipped home away from home frequently for day trips to weeks-long vacations.
What makes this property unique
Swimming, fishing, Ice Fishing in season, canoeing; a short distance to the Cape Cod Canal for biking, roller blading or walking; so many options for eating and exploring and going to Cape Cod's famous beaches. But, it's hard to leave the property once you get there! The views on the pond change all day - each more beautiful than the last. Watch amazing reflections of the moon and stars on the water. It's very typical to come with big plans for day trips to the local attractions and never leave the property because it entices you completely.
