We had a great time staying at this location! The house was perfect for our group of 8. It was spacious and cozy. We also enjoyed the outdoor activities and the indoor game room.

We had a wonderful stay at Barb’s place! The house was beautiful and having the beach waterfront and the water toys was so fun for the kids that came with us! The other properties around being mostly vacation rentals also made for very fun vibes on the water with lots of people kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Barb was very responsive with any questions we had!

The accommodations were lovely! Other than food and personal clothing/items, the host has provided a scenic home away from home. We were able to find all cookery and utensils to prepare meals for all, enjoyed the water toys, and found plenty of seating both indoors and out. We are already talking about booking again!

This was a wonderful getaway for our family. With grandchildren all under 6 years old, the sandy beach and swimming area was perfect for them. We appreciated all the toys, kayaks, etc…that were included. The Chicago Bears bags/cornhole boards were hilarious as we have both a Bears fan and a Packer fan in the family…little “trash talk” went on. The layout of the house allowed each family to have their own privacy when they needed. Thanks so much!

We rented this house for a family getaway to spend some time together before everyone went back to school. It was clean and exactly as described. It was very nice waking up to the view of the lake and I cannot express how beautiful the sunsets were!

Beautiful home. Fantastic sand beach.Four good sized bedrooms. Generous kitchen filled with useful utensils. Huge grill, but starter button does not work. Deck accommodated 8 people. Fire pit is large and plenty of chairs. Downfall was it was always wet because of sprinklers. Parking was plentiful. We'll come again.

We had just installed new sod before your arrival, and the watering schedule was set by our landscaping company to help the lawn establish properly. While this was temporary, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again under more typical conditions.

We had a wonderful time at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and smelled like a brand new home — so fresh and inviting. The house is modern, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fun and relaxing getaway.There were plenty of beach and bath towels, which made things so convenient for our group. The real highlight, though, was the amazing selection of beach gear and toys. From kayaks and sand toys for the kids to life jackets for everyone, this place truly has it all for a great time by the water.Barb, the host, was fantastic — super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. You can tell she really cares about making sure guests have a great experience.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and fun-filled vacation spot!

Our family had an amazing time at Sunset Cove!The house was perfect for our group of 11 (8 adults, two toddlers, and an infant), with more than enough space for everyone. Since it’s brand new, everything was immaculate and thoughtfully stocked.We were impressed by the abundance of both beach and bath towels, as well as the wide selection of beach toys—paddle boards, kayaks, a lily pad, and more. The sandy beach and shallow water near the shore were ideal for the kids, who could play safely without an adult needing to be in the water at all times. Meanwhile, the deeper water at the center of the cove was perfect for swimming.There’s a well-stocked grocery store just 12 minutes away, and several great restaurants within a 5-minute drive. We also rented a pontoon on Castle Rock Lake, just a quick 5-minute trip from the house.We had such a great time and would absolutely rent this place again!
