Not Clean and Modern!
We booked September 1st to 30th. Host cancelled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd after we booked. Host refunded money, but not VRBO processing fees for her cancellation request! Check in time later than what was advertised. Apartment Not clean or modern! Furniture stained and dirty. Closet doors falling off. Shower hardware rusted and broken. Faucet in bathroom sink broken and loose. King mattress on top of a filthy, stained, and old Queen box spring, on top of a dirty Queen bed frame. Dining room chairs and couch stained, dirty and old. Inside of kitchen cabinets dirty. Bathrooms moldy. I texted and asked host to come over, she wouldnt. I called her, she didnt pick up. We texted back and forth. She texted to evacuate, call Vrbo for refund, which we did. We arrived on September 4th after 4pm, we left September 4th before midnight. Most of that time was spent unpacking, repacking, texting with host, and on phone with VRBO. The host texted us to leave apartment locked and questioned where we would leave her keys, which we left with front desk security. The host continued to text us and texted us that she told security not to let us back in. VRBO made aware of all the above. This property had no reviews or star rating, but has been with VRBO for years. When I called VRBO September 4th, the VRBO employee told me there have been other complaints. The location and views are accurate, but the pictures of the apartment are not. Again, we never received refund.
