I've been coming to Cape May since I was a child and have stayed at many different properties all over Cape May County. As an adult with a younger child, I think this was one of my favorites.
The property is on the East side of Cape May between Trenton Ave. and Pittsburgh Ave. This puts you about a mile from the Washington Mall, and six blocks from the nearest beach, so this is something to consider if you don't like to walk. Poverty beach, the Nature Center, and the USCG facility are all about 1/2 a mile away. The neighborhood is quiet and is a great place to relax after a busy day. I've stayed at properties closer to the town center and found that sometimes they can be noisy depending on nighttime activities.
The house is on the front of a one floor quad unit and includes an outdoor shower, patio, and a reserved off street spot for one vehicle. Inside there is a enclosed porch, living room, full kitchen, 2 beds, and a bathroom. It was very comfortable for My wife, son, mother-in-law and I to share the space.
The owners were thoughtful and included lots of little things to make the stay more enjoyable. There are some toys and books for young children and beach chairs. We took full advantage of the dishwasher, stove, and washer/dryer.
The communication from the owners was excellent, responsive, and check-in was efficient. I felt like the stay was a great value and we were sad to leave!
