Récemment rénové! 2 BR Cabin - Emplacement riverain sur St. Laurent River

Cette cabane pittoresque de 2 chambres est l'une des deux cabines que nous avons disponibles à louer - situées à quelques pas de l'eau sur la rue Laurent River.

EntiÚrement rénové en juin 2018 !!!

Calme et tranquille, l'emplacement est parfait pour profiter des activités de la riviÚre et regarder de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Nager et bateau depuis le quai sur place.

REMARQUE: le quai a été détruit lors de l'inondation de l'année derniÚre, mais est en cours de remplacement. Actuellement partiellement terminé - en attendant que l'eau de la riviÚre baisse.

Faites un rapide voyage Ă  Ogdensburg pour le dĂźner et un film!
La zone des Mille-Îles se trouve à une courte minute de trajet de 20 minutes et à voir absolument! Shopping, restaurants, visite du chñteau de Boldt, etc.

Chambre mezzanine avec 1 lit jumeau et un canapé.

Cuisine équipée avec tous les petits appareils nécessaires - micro-ondes, cafetiÚre, etc.

Beaucoup de stationnement, foyer avec bois et barbecue au charbon de bois sur place.

What a great find this cabin is. The neighboring cabin with occupancy did not affect the privacy out ours at all. There are views of the river out every window! Provided kayaks and life jackets are likely a super summer bonus. The on site caretakers are kind and helpful, but not overbearing all at the same time. The Gran View restaurant is just up the road and serves amazing food, but the cabin has everything you need to cook if you’re here a week or so. I don’t know if it’s open in the winter, but if so make sure you bring the car that can make it in and out the driveway, which is a hill. We would definitely come here again, as it is a great place to be still and away from the busier towns, and also close enough to visit them or pop over the bridge to Canada as well.

Cabin was great and the new deck offered great views of the St Lawrence river. We were able to watch multiple big ships go by. We will be back next year, thanks again!!

Host has added elec hookups for Boat charging stations. Extremely helpful they really show they want you at their cabins. Warm receptions and fast service if anything needed.

We loved everything about the cabin we stayed in. We really enjoyed the lakefront property and the big yard for the dog to run in, the only downfall that we could see was the fact that the furniture seem to be older. And in the ad, it did not show the size of the TV, which seemed to only be about a 24 inch other than the furniture, being old and the headboard, not even staying in place in the one bedroom it was a fabulous day. Overall, exactly as described. Beautiful views of the river. GPS wasnt accurate, so took a little while to find (especially at night), recommend pinning the cabin before you start your drive. Only request to the owners, is adding blinds or shades to the doors.

Great view, Quaint cabin on St. Lawrence

Quiet and quaint, Ships going by, geese and ducks with babies floating around. Beautiful sunsets and a view of the river with Canada in the background. It's quiet enough to hear the train across the river. We had local family come on the weekends for meals. The deck is small but fantastic and brand new! If we return, we'll come back when the weather is warmer, we are Florida snowbirds, and the weather was unseasonable cold. Nothing we could do about that. It's easy to get to and only a few steps to get in for seniors. The owners are attentive and quite friendly!

Beautiful Little Cottage Right on the River

We absolutely loved this little cottage! Recently updated, clean and simple this property is just the right size for a couple, 2 couples or small family. We enjoyed being right on the river and especially enjoyed the newly installed deck. The cottage is quiet. We are nit fisherman or kyackers but the location, docks and available kyacjs are perfect for those who are. We would absolutely stay again!

Relaxing get away

My husband and I wanted to spend quality time with our son after mid-terms. The little red cabin was comfy, cozy and exactly what we were looking for. Perfect location to explore the NY and Canadian sides of the St. Lawrence.

The cabin is on the shore of the beautiful St. Lawrence River with easy access for swimming and kayaking. The location was quiet and peaceful. The manager, Patti, promptly responded to our inquiries and complaints. However, we felt the rental was way overpriced given the condition and quality of the cabin and its amenities. The cabin was not well maintained (screen door didn't fit properly; overhead light broken; cracked window), the furniture was old and worn, and the kitchen pots and pans are all cheap, teflon-type (probably forever-chemical laden). One of the kayaks was unusable because one of the paddles had a big piece broken off and the seat was missing a bolt and detached on one side. Patti did eventually offer us one of the neighbor's kayaks, but by that time we'd decided to go elsewhere and rent kayaks (an additional cost for us). We would not recommend this rental.

Great Place for a Piece of Quiet

We weren't sure what to expect - it was hard to envision exactly what we would find so remember this is a CABIN - not a 5-star hotel! It is a bit rustic and has a lot of character. The basics are there. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. Each have a full-size bed so that was a challenge for us. There is a twin bed and a modular couch. There is a separate AC unit in the loft we turned on during the day to help keep the first floor cool. Of course, this was because our vacation was in the middle of a summer heat wave so please keep this in mind! There was a portable AC unit on the first floor that cooled the entire space well providing we had the unit in the loft turned on. There were a few issues identified during our stay and the owner and property manager were very responsive to our questions and the one item that had been damaged prior to our stay. Our family was able to take advantage of the calm cove the cabin sits on so the little people in our party (both cabins) were able to wade into the water - bring your water shoes they'll be needed! The littles also had their first kayak rides - a wonderful experience for them! With the cove, we didn't have to worry about the Seaway's faster water. There is a variety of life jacket sizes - we found what we needed! There is also a wonderful dock available if that's your thing. Wifi is available - bring your streaming info with you if you must have TV!

Old style St. Lawrence River spot

The cabin was perfect and can accommodate more people with two single beds up a ladder to the "attic." And there's a window a/c unit up there. All the rooms were fine with the kitchen being the spot I'd hang out in (some of the other reviews mention the flatware and/or dishes needing a good scrub...I agree). Views of the river from several rooms, easy access to the back deck and grill, GREAT double deck (my favorite spot)(half of the deck is meant for the "Brown Cabin" next door). Beautiful spot for watching the sunset. My only issue, and this is purely personal preference, is the fragrance used in the sheet washing or drying and the air fresheners in a few spots in the camp. Both my husband and I are sensitive to artificial fragrance, but we just put the fresheners away while we stayed there. Just food for thought for the management. Overall, loved the cabin and location, made me nostalgic for staying on the river with my family as a kid, and I would definitely stay there again

Great stay on the St. Lawrence

Wonderful property and location, right on the water. Nice place to relax, and also a good home base for sightseeing in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Brockville is really nice too).

Wonderful location and property

Absolutely the perfect place while staying in the thousand islands. Quiet and private but still close to A Bay with just a short drive to multiple grocer options. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful stay during post hurricane

We stayed here for three days. We knew the weather forecast was calling for rain the whole time. We planned ahead, brought some books to read and took one day trip to Canada. The cabin was great. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The cabin was very clean. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. We even watched the news out of Ottawa. The cabin was right on the water. There is a dock next to the cabin. We had a great time. We will stay here again!
