Escondite victoriano: hermoso exterior, interior moderno

Un escondite encantador! Casa victoriana completamente remodelada, con cuatro dormitorios, dos baños y medio, una cocina gourmet, dos porches, antigüedades, alfombras y varios espacios de escritura. HVAC de doble zona, lavadora y secadora, internet de alta velocidad. Estacionamiento en garaje fuera de la vía pública con un supercargador y toma de corriente para otros vehículos eléctricos.

El dormitorio principal tiene un porche y armarios enormes. El segundo dormitorio tiene un techo alto y antigüedades cómodas. Dos baños también están en el segundo piso. El tercer piso tiene un espacio genial para niños / adolescentes con tres camas individuales. La habitación del frente tiene un sofá cama.

La cocina tiene una cocina de gas gourmet, horno de calentamiento, microondas y vajilla de colección. La espaciosa sala de estar tiene una estufa de leña y acceso a un porche sombreado y un pequeño jardín con estanque.

Casa de vacaciones para una familia tranquila y ocupada de cinco. Siempre me alegro de hacer nuevos amigos de todo el mundo y dar sugerencias y consejos sobre su viaje. Además, siempre me alegra dejarte solo para hacer lo tuyo.

Excellent Victorian getaway with a gourmet kitchen in the center of Chestertown

The reservation process was easy and we were delighted with the property. The Victorian has loads of charm and an expansive and well stocked gourmet kitchen. The house has covered porches and a pretty fountain in a courtyard with garden. Altogether a worthwhile rental. We’ll be back.

Cozy relaxing stay

The weather was miserable with pouring rain for most of the day, but the house was so comfortable that it made for a wonderful relaxing day. The beddings are cozy, wifi throughout the house made the teens happy, comfortable temperature control, gorgeous kitchen, and a place to gather for games and family time. All four of us enjoyed our stay. Ty!

Eastern Shore Adventure

This property is even nicer and larger than it appears in the pictures. Everything is done very tastefully and the place is easy walking distance to all there is to see in beautiful & historic Chestertown. We had a wonderful stay and the neighbors are even awesome. Great! Loved it!

We loved the house, it had a large, beautiful kitchen and living area. All of the rooms were decorated in a simple, elegant style. The bathrooms were up to date , though none of us could figure out how to turn one of the showers on! The location was very convient to the shops and restaurants.

The property was easy to find, clean and well supplied with paper products, linens etc.

My siblings and i were in Chestertown for a weekend getaway. We found the house charming and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The kitchen was awesome and with updated bathrooms and plenty of space for sleeping we were very comfortable. Should we have occasion to be in the area again we would stay again.

Perfect Location. Large, Spaceous and Clean House

We spent the weekend at this house for a family wedding. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the space. All too often we have felt deceived by the size of houses that photos make look big. There was tons of storage which is always a problem we find with rental properties as well. Was well equiped with everything we needed. Have already booked out next weekend at this house.

very nice

lovely restored row home, deceivingly spacious inside, 3 big bathrooms which were great as we were 8 people getting ready for a wedding. Comfortable beds and pillows. We werent actually there much at all, so did not cook, or watch tv. I would jot down internet wifi password before you arrive, because our cellphones had only one to no bars there, so couldnt access the email to look it up...i would recommend just having the password in a little frame near the tv or something. The backyard has the potential to be lovely and would have been great spot for some photos, but the gardens and pond were weedy and overgrown. One may or may not get to park directly in front of the house, as it is on street parking. All in all though it was just what we needed, which was space to sleep plenty of people, near the wedding venue, and the interior space is lovely. Kids loved the third floor Harry Potter room. I dont imagine we will ever be in the area again, but if we were, we would stay there again. Always so much better than a hotel!

Great location; comfortable beds; beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Very welcoming

We were there for a family wedding with all of our adult children. The young adults really got a kick out of the Harry Potter attic room-quite a conversation piece. The house was spacious and well equipped. We loved being so close to town and enjoyed exploring the shops and restaurants. Our only complaint was the lack of comfortable seating in the living room. The antique furniture is lovely but not real comfortable for a large group to hang out in. We managed to make it work.

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful restored home on a quiet street. Roland was an excellent owner - easy to get in touch with and very responsive to all questions or concerns. Also, great couple who are caretakers of the property. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My favorite thing was the stove and the counter tops in the very cool kitchen! (I love to cook). Oh Yes, almost forgot -loved the lily pond in the back yard. We would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous home and host!

This home is lovely and huge. A nice mix of antiques and modern in one home. The gourmet kitchen and bathrooms are wonderful. Roland could not have been more accommodating and kind. We wish wouldn't have been so busy and had more time to enjoy this beautiful home and gardens. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Lovely & Charming

This gem of a home offers many surprises: a backyard of blooming flowers with a lily pond, a kitchen that exceeds expectations, comfy beds, newly renovated everything including bathrooms, and much more. A quick walk to restaurants and shops. Our 5 night stay wasn't enough.

A Chestertown Charmer!

What an awesome spot from which to enjoy all that Chestertown has to offer! The Victorian classic has all of the gorgeous details of an historic home with all of the luxuries of a modern residence. From the moment you walk into the home, you feel comfortable and at home. The beds were really comfortable and our 7-year old son LOVED the Harry Potter themed attic room. We enjoyed walking to everything in downtown Chestertown as much as we enjoyed cuddling up for movie night at home. Thanks to Roland and his family for being such great owners - it was such a pleasure to have everything that we could have needed there! We'll be back when we're in Chestertown again!
