Weddings, Wedding Receptions, Proms or Parties of any kind are NOT PERMITTED at or on the property of our home.

OUR HOME IS MONITORED FOR VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY. ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE EVICTED WITH ALL RENTAL PAYMENTS BEING FORFEITED AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED! RESERVATIONS MADE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES ARE NULL AND VOID AND CHECK-IN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Overall we had a wonderful experience staying at John’s beautiful home. The house was well designed and had a stunning property. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beautiful yard. As a family it was very convenient to have the additional bedrooms on the main floor and a large kitchen. The house had everything we needed, and John was incredibly responsive and accommodating.

Wonderful Week in Wainscott

My wife and I and our two sons, daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren (ages 3, almost 4 and 1) celebrated my wife’s “Birthday Week” as it is called and celebrated in our family at John’s amazing house between Sag Harbor and East Hampton. It was perfect! The house is set well-back from the road on a very large lot and, as a result, it was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. The traffic in the Hamptons is a thing to behold, but we were able to duck into Sag Harbor and East Hampton without difficulty. The house has bedrooms on each of its three levels. That allowed our three family units to have spaces of their own when the need or desire arose. I’ve been using short term rentals on VRBO and the other big site for many years and I have never had a house that was better-provisioned than this one nor a host who was more responsive and accommodating than John. I emailed him a couple of questions shortly after our arrival and he responded very quickly FROM SPAIN where he and his wife were vacationing. One of the questions related to the baby gate for the stairs. John told me where he guessed the prior group had put it and I found it there, but the next day an Amazon driver showed up with a new one. IT WAS LIKE THAT.We particularly enjoyed the large backyard, heated pool, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and dining area and the huge outdoor sofa on a ground level teak deck.The house and its host far exceeded out expectations. I highly recommend both.

Backyard paradise

The backyard was spectacular. The HUGE outdoor sofa was a big hit. It's also partially covered by a huge tree providing shade and a tree swing that our daughter loved. The landscaping and lawn maintenance is 10/10 perfection. The pool could use a hot tub, but we knew that going in and paid the extra fee to warm the pool beyond 80. Our group loved the vibe and decor of the home. The office/TV room is separated from the kitchen with an exterior rated door so it's relatively soundproof. This was a great space to hang out when the kids were sleeping. I was worried about the proximity to EH Airport, but there were only a handful of helicopters and planes coming in/out during the day. I never noticed it inside the house or at night. Overall, the house and host were spectacular. If I'm being picky, the lack of a shower in one of the king bedrooms upstairs bathroom would be the biggest issue. I'm sure it was listed in the description, but I missed the fact that one of the king bedrooms did not have a shower in the bathroom (only a tub).Overall, this is a great property. We'd definitely come back.

Perfect stay in a gorgeous Wainscott home

John’s home was perfect for our family which included an infant and 3 year old. The property was spotless and well appointed. Check-in was a breeze and John was a pleasure to communicate with. Beautiful backyard with a large pool. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful home and grounds, that are even better in person than the photos. Our family enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, warm pool and fire pit every day. Owner was very responsive and eager to assist us. Cant wait to return!

Hamptons Holiday

From the moment we arrived at the house, John was friendly, engaging, laid back and helpful. He clearly trusts his renters – and he went well beyond the usual assistance to make sure our experience with the house was a great one. And yes, it was a great one! The décor in the house is exceptional, the layout is amazing for entertaining, the outdoor space perfect for guests of all ages, and the kitchen amenities (both inside and out) made for great nights of cooking. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or house for our family vacation, and we would absolutely return if John will have us back.

Best Hamptons stay ever

We have been renting in the Sag Harbor/East Hampton area for a few years and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. We hated to leave and can’t wait to stay again. It’s stylish, spacious, beautifully equipped and John rocks- he’s so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Never wanted to leave!!!!!

We've stayed at some beautiful houses, but this is far and away the best. I've never stayed at a house that was this clean, beautifully decorated and well cared for. It is clear that the owners love the house and want people to enjoy their stay. And we definitely did! We loved the kitchen, the bedrooms, the outdoor sofa, the swing, hammock, grill, tv rooms...everything was beyond amazing. And the owner, John, was an absolute pelasure to deal with. He checked in to make sure eveything was ok, and was very receptive when we had questions. We will definitely be back for many years to come. Also, when John tells you that the outdoor shower is the best shower in the world, he is neither incorrect nor overstating, it was wonderfull!!!! Book this property immediatly, you will not regret it!!!

Wonderful Stay!

This house is even better in person. The backyard is amazing and had plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. John was in communication with me throughout our stay and offered to help with anything we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

Family Gathering for Graduation Celebration

The property and house were in pristine condition….no expense was spared and very comfortable with great gathering areas. The backyard was perfect for entertaining, a great bbq setup/outdoor kitchen, lounge area by the pool plus a fire pit circled by Adirondack chairs. When we arrived, John the property manager reached out to make sure our expectations were met and made it clear he was available if we needed anything. He also gave us great suggestions about the area, location was great! We will rebook this house when we return to the east end.

Fabulous weekend in Wainscott

We absolutely loved our stay at John's home! The backyard is incredible and the location is perfect- right near Sag Harbor and a quick drive to the town of East Hampton. John was super helpful with answering any questions we had during our stay. We couldn't recommend this rental enough!

The perfect Christmas

We had the most wonderful stay- the house is incredibly clean and beautifully decorated it also has EVERYTHING you could ever need. The kitchen was a highlight for me as they had every utensil you could ever wish for which made cooking a real joy. We had the most perfect Christmas holiday and couldn’t rate the house more highly.
