Everything was perfect and effortless from the moment we arrived! The cabin is beautiful and the views of the river were breathtaking! We had a wonderful week making memories with our family that will last for years to come!

The purpose of our stay was a family reunion with my sister and brother in law. Our stay in this house on the Wisconsin River was just great. The house was spotlessly clean with a nice back yard on the river and a really nice river view from the living room and back porch. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a wonderful bar and restaurant that you can walk to (also with a boat launch ramp) that has excellent food at a reasonable price and great atmosphere. We ate there twice in the week. The communication with the hosts was easy and friendly. The location is an easy drive to Madison, Taliesen in Spring Green, Devil’s Lake State Park, Canoe Lady’s canoe/kayak rental and shuttle, and other places. It is also a great location for bike riding on many low-traffic county trunk roads.

Communication with host was very easy. Check in was perfect. The location and view from picture window was incredible. Very peaceful stay.Visited the International Crane Foundation. Highly recommend!

Beautiful river views

We loved the gorgeous river views and quiet neighborhood. The house was comfortable and well-stocked. We loved that the location was an easy drive to lots of places - the Dells, Baraboo, Madison.

Very nice cabin on the river!

Nice little scenery and cabin. Hosts were very accommodating...couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend if you're in that area. Will book again if life brings us out that way again.

Hosts were gracious and attentive. Viewing wildlife on the river from the living room windows was fascinating.Comfortable beds.Nearby restaurant had great food.

Family vacation

Beautiful home on the river. Peaceful and accommodating. Had what we needed except enough toilet paper for the week. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Loved the river view

We enjoyed coming home to this inviting cabin after hiking and kayaking. Very spacious kitchen and vaulted living room.

Great property

Great location. Easy access. Many activities close by. One of the most stocked kitchens of all of the properties we have stayed at. Small appliances, cutlery, dishes, pans, and sharp knives etc.

Always a great stay

This was our fourth year in the house and John and Jen continue to make it a great place to rent. They are always helpful if you have any questions and it's always well kept up and very peaceful and quiet. Thanks again!!

Wonderful Wisconsin Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It has beautiful views of the Wisconsin River and was close to everything we wanted to see or do. There was room for all of us, plenty of towels, the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, and dishes we needed. The cabin's owners were very kind and responsive to any questions we had during our trip. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Wonderful place to celebrate our Badger Grad

Stunning and so spacious! And incredibly peaceful! We wanted to find a place for our family to all stay together for spring UW Graduation weekend. While this property was not in Madison, the proximity and ease of traveling to and from Madison was simple. This was the perfect place for us!

Relaxing and enjoyable

Beautiful location. Wonderful windows overlooking the river. Enjoyed the beach about 20 minutes away as well as a boat day. Enjoyed the log cabin feel. The neighbors were very nice and got to enjoy kayaking down the river as well. Thank you for the stay.

good fishing right off small dock , great deck and screened gazebo for sitting out, large well equipt kitchen ,comfy beds and very nice neighbors.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very peaceful and felt secluded - especially with the sandbar across the river making it feel like you were really out in nature. The cabin was stocked with everything that you would need. We really appreciated all of the notes that the owner had posted that explained how to operate things and where to find things. The binder provided excellent information on nearby activities and resources. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend this property.

Great adventure

Lots of adventuring all the hidden beaches always able to walk across to mutiple islands. The house and views amazing. 2 years in a row have been awesome. I love it!!!!. Sandy beaches and islands anywhere. Highly recommended

Perfect place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The "cabin" was so well outfitted with what you'd hope to find from linens to kitchen tools and dishes. Two full sized refrigerators were great as well. This is a very nice rental indeed. It felt as though we were on the water as the large picture windows display the Wisconsin River flowing by as you sit in the comfortable living room. Highly recommend this and want you to know the owners were excellent to work with.

Cabin on the river

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly. The view of the river from the living room is wonderful. We were disappointed that the back yard and dock were unusable due to heavy rains causing the river to flood the yard but realize this was beyond the control of the home owner. Host communication was very good. We would stay again!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. It is highly unusual for the river to flood at that time. There was severe flooding throughout the Midwest. The river was back to normal shortly after.

Nice time away

This was our first family vacation in about 16 years! It was a great house with plenty of room for all of us! The kitchen was well equipped so we could make most of our meals at home. A quick 40 minute trip to the Dells area so there was always something to do. Also, close to Camp Rest Park which has a playground, sand area with sand toys, and a small beach with water to walk in (safe for children with life jackets which are provided!). We had an awesome time!

Peaceful cabin on the Wisconsin River

This cabin sits right on the Wisconsin River and has beautiful views from the living room’s large windows overlooking the river. There is an island directly across and a larger channel on the other side of the island, which most of the boat traffic uses, so the smaller channel that the cabin is on is quiet and very peaceful. From the cabin, we saw fish, deer, turtles, frogs and toads. The cabin was great base for many activities in the area (Devils Lake, Mirror Lake and water parks).
