• Our cabin is truly in the heart of nature so please be aware that you may see local wildlife like deer, raccoons, insects like mosquitoes, and various rodents. Please avoid leaving food outside and always ensure that doors and windows are kept closed.
• Please be aware that the terrain around the cabin is natural. To ensure your comfort and safety during your stay, we suggest wearing sturdy, appropriate footwear when walking outside.

Pets (Dogs only, no cats. Sorry!)
• Up to 2 adult, crate-trained dogs allowed
• $50/dog, per stay
• Proof of Rabies vaccination and vet-prescribed flea/tick medication required
• Pets must be disclosed during the booking process.
• Dogs must be crated when left alone (no exceptions)
• Guests must clean up after their pets
• If dogs sleep on the bed, please remove our blankets and bring your own

Reminder & Disclaimers:
• Shuffleboard Table: The shuffleboard is currently warped and is OUT OF ORDER / unplayable. We are actively working on a repair or replacement to get it back up and running soon, and we apologize for the inconvenience!
• To reach our peaceful cabin, you'll travel on an unpaved road, so please be ready for a bumpy ride. In the winter, this road can also become quite icy and slippery. For your safety and the easiest trip, we strongly recommend using a 4-wheel drive vehicle, no matter the season.
• Just a heads-up that in our natural setting, weather changes can impact road conditions, cause temporary power outages, or create falling tree hazards. We'll send you a weather forecast the day before you arrive so you can prepare!
• We love a good fire! Please be aware that the wooded area experiences dry seasons which increases fire risks. Please only use the designated fire pit and STRICTLY no other open flames or additional fire setups are allowed anywhere on the property. Additionally, guests are not allowed to use the indoor FIREPLACE as it's not functional and is only for aesthetics due safety concerns.
• The cell in the area can be difficult but we have reliable high-speed internet. Given our quiet and remote location, emergency services are a short drive away, so we keep a first-aid kit readily available. It's best to stock up on groceries before you arrive.
• The cabin uses well water, which may have a slight natural mineral sulfuric smell but is safe to drink nonetheless. We've installed whole-house water filters for your comfort, ensuring good quality water.
• The area has no streetlights and will get very dark at night with no streetlights. We strongly recommend bringing powerful flashlights or headlamps when walking around outside after dark.
• There is no dishwasher available at our cabin.
• Please refrain from having packages delivered to the property. We are unable to receive them and are not liable for lost items.
• There is no full-sized oven, however, a convection oven is available.
