Welcome to IOP! Our family has been visiting Isle of Palms for 13 years and love the Charleston area. We hope you enjoy your stay and all this home has to offer. This house was put together with what we thought would be great amenities to have on vacation. It is a newly renovated 5100 square foot, 7 BR, 5 BA home. There are new furnishings/mattresses, white linens and towels, stainless steel appliances, all new kitchen items and refinished hardwood floors. It is also freshly painted inside and out with all colors picked by an Interior Designer and professionally landscaped. Our home has an inverted floor plan with an open kitchen/dining room/family room, wrap around porches on the 2nd and 3rd level, ocean views, inground gated pool, level and spacious back yard, elevator and WI-FI. In addition, one of the rooms with attached bath is wheelchair accessible with 36 inch wide doors and barrier free shower entry for anyone in your group who may need it. It's 1 block to the town, restaurants, shops and beach access. All bedrooms have a 32in TV, all LED. In addition, you will have access to over 300 movies via apple TV on 2 of the TVs.

Ground floor: This living area has 1 BR (2 queens), 1 BA, and secondary family room/game room. It includes a kitchenette with full refrigerator (including icemaker), pool table, shuffleboard table, 2 TVs, one (3D 55in) in front of the couch for xbox and movies only, the other (42in) near the pool table has regular cable channels perfect for watching sports or your favorite show.

2nd floor: The second level has 4 BRs and a laundry room. The first bedroom is a large master suite (K) with en suite bathroom and access to the wrap around porch across the back. Another bedroom (K) also has an en suite bathroom and is handicap accessible. The 2 other bedrooms share a jack-n-jill bath, one has a king and the other a queen.

3rd floor: The top floor includes the main living area with 3 sides of windows and is bathed in sunlight. The living area has great flow and is ideal for family gatherings. The kitchen is spacious and open with new stainless appliances, which includes a double oven and 42in Subzero refrigerator. A separate wine refrigerator and small beverage refrigerator are also available for overflow. There is plenty of table space for everyone to eat, a 55in TV for viewing your favorite show or watching movies. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level. One has 2 twin beds and the other bedroom has a queen and is attached to a full bath (shower only). This bath is also accessible from the hall. Both bedrooms have access to the 3rd level front porch.

Isle of Palms is a beautiful barrier island near Charleston that has the relaxing air of a beach town but only 20 mins. from all downtown Charleston has to offer. Besides the gorgeous, wide beaches, IOP has a marina for renting kayaks, jet skis or boats, has an amazing rec center that includes a playground, tennis courts, sport fields and basketball courts.

Must be 30 years of age or older to rent this house. No smoking or pets. The maximum number of overnight guests (over the age of 2 ) is 12. Please note, IOP is sensitive to inappropriate noise levels so no parties and large gatherings after 10 PM. The noise ordinance is strictly enforced by the Isle of Palms Police. Violations of the noise ordinance could result in fines and/or eviction.

Christmas with my family

Great house to have my extended family be together for Christmas. More than enough space and the view from the third floor was spectacular. The location of the house made it very convenient to get to stores, restaurants and the beach.

Beautiful home. Close to Ocean and grocery store. Easy 20 minute drive into Charleston.

We loved our stay. It was for my parents 60th anniversary. This home easily slept 11 family members. The built in elevator made it easy for my parents to move up and down through the three floors of the house.

The top floor has an open floor plan with an fully equipped kitchen across from a dining room table that can seat easily ten people. Although a block off the ocean you can see and smell the ocean from the top floor.

The home owner was kind, straightforward and clear with all business arrangements. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation with a larger group!

Amazing house...everything perfect.

Our stay in Isle of Palms was incredible because of this house. Everything was clean, functional, and first rate. 2 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to great food. Elevator was a great touch, and the downstairs playroom was perfect. Owner was really nice and timely for all communication. Property manager made himself accessible at all times. Highly recommend for multiple families, boys trip, reunion etc.

Exceeded our expectations

We picked IOP out of a hat, not knowing anything about the isle, but hearing that it was a beautiful place to vacation. We came from Seattle, LA, and the Carolina's for a week of togetherness. We chose this home because it had excellent reviews and lots of space. We have 8 adults, and 6 kids (7 years to 5 months) in our family. We arrived 3 days after hurricane Irma with much trepidation. I spoke with Nicole before arriving and she assured me that everything was in good condition and would be ready for us. She was right...the home was in pristine condition and was PERFECT for our family. Each couple had their own room and the kids fit very comfortably. The bedrooms and bathrooms were equally lovely. It had a very large, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable gathering area. The lower level suite became "the club house" for the older kids. We found plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, and a great cart to haul them. The pool was lovely, with plenty of shade and a nice table to have our lunch. Any maintenance problems were quickly and completely addressed. The only, and I mean only, thing that was missing was an outdoor shower. We discussed returning next year at length and could think of no place or home that could surpass this experience. Kudos to Nicole, Sean, and their team for providing a top rated experience for our family!

A Fabulous Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation on Isle of Palms. The house was just perfect..... really everything. It was spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished, perfect location and 1 block from the beach! The bedrooms were spacious, plenty of bathrooms, beautiful kitchen/family area and great lower level. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't reach the basement level bedroom and recreation room directly from inside the house. It is a perfect spot for teenagers, though. We hope to return!!! Everyone in our family asked if we could come back!!!
