We own and operate several properties on Aquidneck Island that offer nightly, weekly & monthly rentals.

Thames Street is 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo located in the heart of downtown newport. This a second & third floor property, directly above retail shops. Each bedroom has a king size bed that sleeps 6 guests. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. There are one bedroom, one bathroom, cozy eat in kitchen and living room on the third floor. Roof top deck, full kitchen, living area, wifi, and one parking spot.

Please note that this is a LEGAL Newport rental property. We highly recommend booking only legal rentals otherwise you risk the chance of eviction by the city along with possible fines.

Please note we prefer to rent Friday & Saturday nights together. If you are looking for a Thursday & Friday OR Saturday & Sunday please message us for accurate pricing as we will charge the Friday & Saturday prices depending on the time of the year. Also, if you are looking for a late check in or out we will be unable to guarantee this until the week of your reservation as it depends on other guests checking in or out.

You will be contacted the day of your arrival with check in details. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 11 am.

Great location. Fun times and the house lived well.

House is right on lower Thames NA couldn’t have a greater location. Street notice at nite is part of the scene and manageable. Hope to come back in the summer and use the roof top.

Great location, tons of room- a little drafty!

Stayed this weekend with another couple and their daughter. The layout was fabulous- three bedrooms with three bathrooms- tons of privacy. The condo had everything that we needed and the location was great proximity to shops/restaurants and bars. Only drawback was the slow heating of the condo. Granted, the outside temperatures were of record cold, but being an older building it was very drafty. A few sweatshirts and warm socks and we were ok. Would definitely stay here again- and in the summer to take advantage of the HUGE upstairs deck.

Great girls weekend!

We had a great stay. The place was comfortable and had lots of seating for the 6 of us. There was a basic supplies for the home, but I hadn't thought of bringing sugar and salt and pepper, etc. It was a little more expensive than I had hoped for and I did not realize it was the 2nd and 3rd floor and over stores. However, it was a convenient location, a nice walk to shops/restaurants as well as the mansions and cliff walk. It was great for our needs and would stay again.

I found the parking for the condo horrendous. For a rental that has 3 bedrooms, one parking space was ridiculous. The parking in this town is very unfriendly for tourists. At night, the revelers on the street partied hard until wee hours of the morning.

The condo itself was very nice, my only suggestion is that the sofas be replaced as once you sat on them you had a hard time getting out. The owners were very attentive and accommodating.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. Newport is a small historic New England island town so the parking situation is what it is. I always offer my Newport insight on other spots to park at no cost for additional cars. We leave the AC units in so the fans can be run if there is noise and the sofa has received rave reviews for its comfort. Again, we appreciate your thoughts and wish you luck in your future rentals.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
