Excellent

The apartment is spotless in a great location within walking distance to all amneties. Loved the view especially in the morning, it was awesome. Belinda is a great host whom I had the pleasure of meeting and the housekeeper, Sophie is a doll. So pleasant and polite. I honestly have no complaints watsoever, I would reccomend this apartment 100%, fab vacation thank you Belinda.

This is not a 5 star rating. Other reviews are misleading. This is an average unit with good view

Unit is situated right on the ocean with great views. Building/condo was probably built in the 60’s. Grounds are well kept. Host was very pleasant and responsive. The condo unit is in need of updating. Wicker indoor furniture is equivalent to outdoor patio furniture with bad couches. All couches need replacing. Wicker is getting moldy and needs cleaning. King size bed is nice but is hard as a rock. Needs to be replaced. Old galley kitchen is small and needs drawer repairs. Air conditioning is located only in the upstairs bedroom. On hot humid days the ocean breeze and fan is not adequate for the first floor. With having to have the first floor patio door open, the smell of pot from the neighbors smoking multiple times a day is continuous and annoying. Mahogany Beach next door is a short walk from the condo and chairs can be rented for less than $3.00/day. There is a reason for this, the majority of chairs are broken and in disrepair. Beach lacks sand, water is dirty and shallow. Best part is the tour boats that arrive with 50-100 people taking over the small beach which maybe 150 feet long. Cool Runnings tour boat runs out of this beach/cove. Not a beach you want to go to for relaxing or swimming. For taxis we utilized the security guard at the gate. He was great at getting taxis at reasonable prices.

Idyllic Waterfront Vacation Home

I spent a total of six weeks at this property and would return in a heartbeat! It was just what I needed. I spent many idyllic days and evenings lounging in the property, including evenings where I sat on the balcony and just gazed at the stars. Its many plus points are that it was: Clean (thanks Dawn) Comfortable Relaxing Well-equipped (it has a fully-stocked kitchen plus all the 'little things' have been thought of, including books, games, mosquito coils, clothes hangers, a clothes airer and even clothes pegs)! Professionally managed Secure Quiet Conveniently located (maximum 10 minutes walk to central Ochi) Adjacent to a great beach Additionally, it has: A friendly, responsive owner (thanks Belinda) Awesome views and well-maintained grounds Reliable wifi, hot water, and air conditioning A spacious bedroom with good hanging space and awesome sea views Plentiful parking I definitely intend to make this my Ochi 'home from home'!

Beautiful, comfortable..a perfect vacation spot...

The Caribe condo was light and airy, with a wonderful "Beach" and "vacation" feeling to the decor. We loved the clear, full view of the sea from the living room and bedroom. The king-sized mattress was a dream, especially for someone like me...a fussy sleeper. Security at the condo complex was excellent and we felt safe and secure at all times. The walk to the beach took only minutes, and we usually went swimming at least twice a day. While we cooked often in the well-equipped kitchen, there are so many wonderful places nearby to eat, everything from very decent fast food just around the corner to fine dining in the nearby downtown. Belinda had provided everything a vacationer might want, including extra toothbrushes and toothpaste. We enjoyed happy hour out on the deck or watching the news on the large living room TV. During our three-week stay we rented cars twice to travel along the coast and inland to see the rich vegetation and interesting ports and small villages, as well as to connect with some of the Jamaican people. I definitely look forward to my next vacation at Caribe Condos in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!!

one of my favorite Jamaica properties

First I want to thank Belinda for her kindness and availability. The apartment was so spacious and comfy and was exactly as the photos claimed it would be! The apartment was so cute and beachy and maintained perfectly. the wifi was also great. I had a couple work meetings that I had to Skype in for and I never had a problem with the wifi. I have stayed at Carib Apartments at a few different apartments and this one was easily the most comfortable. I loooove the view of the ocean and the security of the property which is why I prefer Carib to any other place to stay in Jamaica. I brought my sister there for the first time and she was so impressed with how comfortable and quiet it was. Ms. Carmen, the cleaning lady did such a great job keeping the house clean and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I was so sad when it was time to leave and head back to NJ but I am happy to say I will be returning in a couple months for another week at this great apartment. Belinda was available to me every day via text or chat to answer any questions about local things I may need. To me the best part of my stay was our guide. I have another friend that owns an apartment at Carib and she recommended a guy that she knows and refers to her guests. He was amazing! His name is Levene and he literally did everything! He cooked for my sister and I every night, he drove us to the good grocery store whenever we wanted, he took us to different beaches and sites and hung out with us every day. the food was awesome and he made us fresh cucumber juice every day.. I love this place and cannot wait to go back. Also you should try some of the water activities at the beach on the property... very reasonably priced and such a fun time.

Perfect and affordable with a million dollar view

Nice split level with king bed in gated and secure complex. Belinda was exceptional host and recommended an exceptional driver named Dwayne that we used for a couple of days. The condo was a nice start and finish to our days of exploring. We spent a lot of our time on the balcony watching the ocean.

If we could give it TEN Stars!!!

Belinda's customer service is any guest's dream! She is very thorough and genuinely interested in the experience of her guests and goes above and beyond(taking time out of her busy schedule) to ensure they are happy! We absolutely appreciated this and she made the process a breeze! Wow...about the apartment...it was so welcoming with its calming colour scheme in tones of blues, greens and white..with a pop of yellow...when we came through the door! It was immaculate, smelled fresh and had all sorts of ammenities that showed a lot of forethought for her guests..such as towels, hairdryer, cooking utensils etc. There were even boos and games provided! All the appliances were clean and in good working order. The decor was simply beautiful.and matched the relaxation/seascape theme. It did not feel cluttered at all..as it was very light and airy, and the rooms were spacious, making relaxation that much easier. The apartment is smoke free which is great if you have sinus issues. Everything was well labelled with clear, friendly precise instructions/directions which took the guess work out of finding our way around the apartment (for example the different light switches were labelled according to the corresponding rooms). The security was friendly and professional as they patrolled very regularly and greeted guests. We felt very safe there. We loved relaxing on the balcony/living room area and hearing the waves and feeling the sea breeze! The ittle beach on the property was great for taking photos and getting our feet wet, while admiring nature. There are nearby ammenities in the town nearby and entertainment spots..such as Prospect Outback Adventures where we had a blast! We also had a great little dinner at Scotchies..which is perfect for a rustic dining experience. We will definitely be back Belinda!! Thank you so much for lending us your little slice of paradise! Its almost selfish to say that we most definitely recommend it..but at the same time we want to keep our yummy little secret to ourselves!! LOL! Absolutely loved it! Dwain & Georgette

Breathtaking View

We went on vacation and stay at Belinda at Carib Villa. Wow it's an amazing apartment, looks just like the picture advertised Welcoming and Clean. Can't begin with how valuable it was to have the beach so close!! Wonderful. Great location and a gorgeous view of the ocean although the beach wasn't very long if you want to take a run on the beach. There was 24 hour security and they were very pleasant and respectful as are most Jamaicans. It was a place you feel safe if that's what you're after. Feels like home,the kitchenette have everything to prepare a meal,Belinda is a awesome lady with a great personality,we will definitely stay at her place again,. Mr and Mrs James Miami Florida 2016

Heaven!!!!

Fantastic!

My stay at Belinda's apartment was pure perfection! The view of the sea from the spacious terrace is astounding. An incredibly peaceful escape. The apartment is totally charming, beautifully maintained and has everything you could ask for, including its own private beach nestled in a small cove. Walking to town is an easy stroll for shopping and great food. When I return to Jamaica, I will definitely stay there again!! 17th of July to the 3 August went back for 5 more.

I stayed at 414 from July to August. It's a grate self catering accomodarion. It feels very homely . It has everything you will need in a home and more. Well kept, safe and relaxing. Fantastic Stay

Condo #414 at Carib Condos

Thank you Belinda for a wonderful 2 weeks in Ocho Rios The driver you arranged to pick us up at the airport escorted us into the condo and we were immediately impressed, better than expected from the pictures The grounds, security staff and the condos were wonderful !! We enjoyed lots of ice from the freezer, lots of hot water and water pressure for our showers Kitchen utensils and appliances were more than adequate and made good use of the french press for delicious Blue Mountain coffee Was pleased with so many tv channels, I was able to follow golf Carmen was a charm, she took us shopping and we went to her home in the hills for a visit, we love her. We liked visiting with you as well half way through our stay as well as your orientation on our first day Enjoying coffee on the balcony and listening the waves lap the shore when going to sleep were highlights This was our first trip to Jamaica and would certainly return as we loved Ocho Rios, the people are friendly and gracious, food was great and the sites and scenes are awesome.My only suggestion would be a thicker cushion for the sofa ,as the one now is a tad uncomfortable . We were a little sad to leave but brightened with the decision that next year , we will stay longer ! Hope to see you next year. Jack and Dette

I thought the condo was an excellent place to stay

When you walk into the condo you are hit with the awesome view out to the ocean. The condo was very clean and extremely comfortable. We were very pleased with the condo and enjoyed our stay. I would recommend staying here to my friends. Belinda was helpful and a very nice person to talk with. We plan on visiting again next year.

The condo is clean and well maintained. Belinda was very nice and helpful with hints. The condo is in a gated property with full-time security - felt very comfortable. Internet connection was good. This is not a luxury condo, but is clean and well maintained. The balcony is as shown on the picture and we enjoyed it tremendously. There is a small private beach on the property and a nice beach is within 10-15 minute walking distance - the beach has a $2/day charge, but because of it the beach is clean, not full, and there is no hassle from sellers.

Amazing View!

Stayed for 1 week at the carib and will definitely be our home away from home.The view from the balcony is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Condo is clean and well maintained. Very quiet and relaxing location. We felt very safe with security always on the premises walking the grounds. Perfect place to stay

I loved staying here. The condo was as described, clean with all mod cons. The view was amazing I loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and before going to bed and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. I will most certainly come back and would recommend this condo to everyone.

Pure Heaven!

My wife found this sweet spot for me. Belinda is the most gentle spirited, and easy going woman. What an absolute pleasure, to stay in this relaxing condo and how lucky are we that she allows us to enjoy it. The sound of the waves still echos in my mind, even now that I am back in the US! The property is in a perfect spot. The VIEW is pure heaven and the gazebo's were a joy. The staff were all friendly and the beach is just steps away. Nice to enjoy a beach without a fee, for a change. Short walk to get good Jamaican food. I always took it back so I could eat on the verandah and just look. Giving thanks for the irie vibes of this Carib condo. We will be back....thank you Belinda~
