Bouny House offers an economical alternative to upscale units, providing the comforts of home but no fuss, for anyone looking to spend less and stay in a quieter location with proximity to all the fun New Orleans has to offer.
This is a small unit offering a charming bedroom, a full but small bathroom, a small living room with a queen sleeper sofa, and an eat-in kitchen. A private, shaded back patio adds to living space. Around the corner you'll find a park staircase providing access to the levee walk.
With a washer and dryer in the unit (dedicated laundry area) and walkable groceries, restaurants, and bars, this is the homey neighborhood of choice for your stay. A quick 5-min walk to the ferry gets you to the Harrah's, Riverwalk, and French Quarter attractions in 15 minutes. Easy access by car to Crescent City Connection bridge to drive into the central business district.
We can legally only accept reservations of 30+ days. To reserve, specify a range of at least 30-days. This will block that length of stay from additional reservations, regardless of the actual number of days you will use the unit, and that is okay :)

This was the perfect spot for my daughter to stay while waiting for her long-term rental house to be ready. She walked to the ferry and rode it across the river for her job near the Riverwalk. The Algiers Point area is a great place to stay. There are just enough restaurants and bars (Dry Dock Cafe, Barracuda taco stand, Tout de Suite Cafe, Crown & Anchor Pub, Nighthawk Pizza) within walking distance. Also the Faubourg Fresh Market for a few groceries. If you use the ferry and bus system, you don’t even need a car. We saw firework shows twice from the levee and we were able to avoid major downtown crowds. The rental itself is just like it’s described: humble and simple; nothing luxurious or fancy, although it is tastefully decorated and comfy. It is a great spot to stay while exploring New Orleans!Also: the owner is very friendly and helpful. She was readily available by text to answer questions and solve problems. For example, she had a WiFi booster delivered within 24 hours when we were having signal trouble.
