Additional notes: 
- This property is equipped with an outdoor camera for security purposes.
- Please note a hot tub cleaning fee is included in the housekeeping fee. Note if you are staying 5 nights or longer, there is an additional $100 (+ tax) hot tub fee to have the hot tub cleaned. If you are booking through Airbnb, we'll send you a separate payment request for this fee.
- For the steep driveway during the winter, we recommend AWD or winter tires which provide the best grip on snow and ice.
- Up to two dogs are allowed in the property.  Please let us know ahead of time the number of dogs you are bringing.  There is a $100, non-refundable pet fee per dog.  Thank you in advance for being a responsible pet owner and picking up after your dog(s).
- The nearest slope is just 1 mile away. The easiest way to get there is to call the on-call shuttle, which can pick you up at the end of the driveway and take you to the Village.
- Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties with Guests outside of your group in the property

THE RESORT:

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.

- Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, off-road 4-wheeler tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name just a few.

- Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails waiting for you to conquer. Other activities include cross-country cycling, hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay pigeon shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf, fishing, and relaxing on the soft, sandy beach on the shore of Shavers Lake.

MINIMUM AGE:
Please note that the primary renter must be 25 years of age or older in order to reserve this property.

EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in.

LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible, since our cleaning team needs every available minute to clean and reset this huge house (to include draining and refilling the hot tub). If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if the property is available.
