Summary:

The historic Farmer’s Supply building is one of the oldest buildings in Floyd. Located in the heart of Downtown Floyd, the family owned and operated Farmer's Supply building has recently been brought back to life and houses two commercial suites and boutique units, known as The Farmer's Supply. With the addition of local photography and art, we hope to keep the local culture at the center of our guests' experience.



The Space:

This 2- bedroom, 1.5 bath unit is equipped with fast, high-speed internet, modern finishes, original hardwood floors, and has everything you need for a short or long stay in Floyd. All beds in this unit are queen size beds. This unit is not pet friendly.



Guest Access:

Stairs are required to access this unit. Stairs are required to access the bedrooms in this split-level unit. Our property does not have an elevator.



The Neighborhood:

The Farmer’s Supply is located in the heart of downtown Floyd, only a short walk to many of Floyd’s favorites!



Getting Around:

Public Parking: Free overnight parking is available behind the Floyd County Courthouse, located across the street from Farmer's Supply. Please note that overnight street parking is not permitted per the town of Floyd. Make sure to review the check-in instructions for more details.

The location was wonderful. Great spot for 2 couples visiting Floyd. Just walk downstairs and you are in the middle of all the action. Cute shops, nice folks, great music and a fun vibe.

Great place to stay in Floyd. Walking distance to Floyd Country Store, and many other great shops. Super clean and convenient. Could not ask,for a better experience or stay. Thank you so much for providing such great accommodations.

Very clean, very beautiful. Awesome location for activities in Floyd. Lots of stairs, but if that’s not a problem for you, then you’ll love this place. We would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful apartment! It's a beautifully renovated space, impeccable, and very tastefully decorated in a contemporary, linear style. On the upper (bedroom) level there are lovely large Palladian windows that let in lots of light. There are exceptionally spacious closets attached to both bedrooms, and the host even supplies plenty of hangers, a rarity in rentals. This attention to detail and to renters' convenience was evident throughout; the kitchen was very well appointed with new appliances and a high end coffee maker, with the option of using a French press. Quality coffee from a local roaster and a nice assortment of teas from quality companies were also provided. The new large smart TV offers streaming options beyond just Netflix. (Our only suggestion, a minor one, is to put nonslip rubber strips on the bathtub floor, for the protection of older renters or those with balance issues.)And the location is spectacular! A wonderful bistro is right around the corner, and shops, Farmer's Market, and even a collection of small boutiques are just a couple minutes' walk from the apartment. The location is so central that there really is nothing in Floyd that one couldn't walk to--all within a mile or so, but most far closer than that. And Blue Ridge hiking trails are also just a 15-30 minute drive away as well.The host was wonderful too! S/he responded immediately to all of my messages and was clearly motivated to make our stay as satisfying as possible.

The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean with great amenities. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the linens. One of the best aspects of this property rental was not having a list of chores to do before leaving. The host takes care of everything! The location was ideal, right in the center of downtown and you can walk to all of the restaurants and shops. There are quite a few sets of stairs and the stairs to the second floor bedrooms are steep (historic building) but other than that, it was a fantastic rental. I would definately stay again!
