About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

'YES' - we have FREE 'SKYPE', WI-FI in the condo, Big-Screen SATELLITE TV, and we accept ALL Major Credit cards !!

Nestled at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula at Land's End, on the most magnificent beach on the entire Baja Peninsula, is TERRASOL, a spectacular low-rise, low-density private, quiet and secluded resort.

An exclusive enclave, TERRASOL offers privacy and tranquility, yet is less than 500 meters from the bustling and quaint little town of Cabo San Lucas with its exciting night-life, cantinas, restaurants, and shops. Guests will enjoy amenities including the 2 swimming pools with swim-up palapa bar, tennis and a modest work-out room. Marina is 200 meters from our condo.

'That's not a greeting, it's a promise !!

Your first morning at TERRASOL, is easy to predict. You'll wake up, look South-East, witness sunrise and the Pacific Ocean... from your bed. The cool Pacific breeze will flow up through TERRASOL as you turn on your coffee-maker in anticipation of breakfast. Step onto your deck... fill your lungs with intoxicatingly fresh Pacific air. With that first breath, it's as if all the world-weariness that brought you here is washed away by the waves that lulled you to sleep the night before. In its place, a smile [the kind that starts on the inside and works outwards] and an eagerness to try something new. Scuba-diving, whale-watching, golf, fishing, or strolling along your own, private 1-mile long beach and relaxing at one of the pools, reading your favorite vacation book - in quiet solitude and in the most perfect weather on the planet!!

At TERRASOL, the laws of land no longer apply. Time not only slows down, it goes backwards, like the surf rolling off our beach as it meets up with the next advancing Pacific wave.

Washed in salt water and blown by dry desert winds, our hide-away is calm, warm, and tempting... above all, it's different and unique - it's 'TERRASOL' - CRAIG & LORI

- TERRASOL is built 'on' the beach - 500 meters from the tip of the Baja Peninsula.

- TERRASOL has a serene 'honeymoon atmosphere,' secluded and private.

- Of all the units at TERRASOL, we have the only private roof-deck, with stunning views back to Medano Bay, the Marina, the Sea of Cortez and Cabo San Lucas and forward to the mighty Pacific and its migrating great whales, the mountains that envelop Terrasol and the daily sunrise and sunset views.

- Set apart from Cabo, TERRASOL offers exclusivity and privacy, but is still only a short 5-minute walk into town.

Is deluxe - furnished with authentic Pueblo Mexican craft from wrought iron main and roof-deck furniture and tables, wall hangings and rugs, planters, crockery, and wall cabinet-credenzas.

Sleeping arrangements include a king-size bed, a queen sofa hide-a-bed in the living room, a single roll-a-way futon,

The modern kitchen is large, open and fully-equipped.

We own the only roof-deck at Terrasol, over 500 square foot, with stunning views in all directions, town/marina, sunrise, sunset and the Pacific/whales. You can eat under the stars on wrought iron glass table, make use of our double roof-hammock for tanning, or the queen deck-mattress for 'romantic-sleeping' under the stars.

- Cabo gets 6.7 inches of rain a year... officially a desert.

- Highs of 80-deg. in the winter, 90-95 in the summer, non-tropical.

- Temperatures tempered by the cool Pacific Breezes.

- Humidity: zero winter humidity, highest in summer - 65%

- Sunshine: over 320 days a year, unbroken!!

- Quite simply, the most agreeable year-around climate on earth.

- The only desert-located Tropical resort area in the world - on the ocean.

Terrasol Beach Resort feels like a Private Island

  • 5 of 5

We had such a stress free and wonderful holiday at Terrasol Beach Resort just minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. We booked with a great friendly guy called Craig who is originally from South Africa and a golfer.

He was super helpful with all our fishing and golfing questions.

Our rental suite was open, light and breezy and had every comfort that we needed. We swan all day in the huge swimming pool and our view of the ocean was beyond magnificent. The resort feels like a private little island.

What we also loved was how close the resort is to the centre of Cabo. We felt no need to rent a car which always makes a holiday so much calmer with no parking etc worries. We loved our holiday and will return again next March. We have already booked our dates as it fills up fast.

Amazing Terrasol

  • 5 of 5

Just back from an amazing 11 nights stay in Terrasol beach resort. We loved the large terrace, a sun trap all day. The bed was huge lovely soft and very comfortable. The a/c cooled the place down in minutes when you needed it. The couple of minor problems we had were sorted out quicker than you can say ballyhoo to a Rooster Fish !!! by the friendly staff. The roof terrace was fantastic we especially enjoyed watching the fishing boats coming back into the marina in the afternoon showing their flags indicating their catch, and you could tell where the fish were caught from the sea of Cortez or the Pacific (Binos required). The beautiful beach is right there and the swimming pool is on the beach too. There is another pool by the bar restaurant where you can sit and drink Margaritas while in the water perfecto! ........ and Mario and his staff will cook the best chicken/beef Fajitas in Cabo. Love to all the staff at Terrasol Gary and Mauree, Windsor England

Excellent Quite Location Close to Town

  • 5 of 5

My husband and spent our first week at an all inclusive resort closer to San Jose Del Cabo and after much drinking and eating.......oh and did I mention drinking, we wanted to spend a quiet week alone together at a Condo that was close enough to town to walk to. Well Terrasol fit the bill. Although we rarely left the condo, the few times that we did, it was only a 5 minute walk to the Marina and wonderful restaurants.

My husband and I travel the world and it doesn't matter how amazing the accommodations I book for us, it usually takes a few hours for him to adjust, but the minute he walked into this lovely Terrasol Condo, I could hear him saying that he loved it this place.

We did most of our own cooking. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals (minus a strainer for pasta). The Walmart was a 5 minute, $14 each way Taxi ride from the condo.

The Taxis are right outside the gate so no problem grabbing a taxi at anytime. The Walmart has most everything you need, but you may need to be a little creative. For instance no sweet pickles for Potato Salad, but pickle relish worked in a pinch.

We did venture out to the pool bar and restaurant a couple of times. Everything was good and inexpensive. We were there during the World Skim Boarding Competition so it was fun to watch from the restaurant area.

The service from the staff, front desk to the restaurant/bar and even to the groundskeepers was excellent. When we brought our groceries back to the condo, the groundskeeper came running up with his wheelbarrow and carried all of our groceries to the condo for us.

My husband didn't want to go here because the pictures on their website make it appear as if there is nobody ever at the pool, but there are more people then it appears.

Still have more of the World we want to visit, but we will definitely be back as soon as possible.

P.S. When and if you get tired of eating Mexican food, Salvatore's has great Italian Food.

We had so much fun we didn't want to leave

When I found the listing for this condo I was, as is my nature, very nervous that something this good could be true, but based on all the positive reviews we went ahead and booked and boy were we glad we did.

First off the condo is amazing - it has a balcony with table and chairs and a private roof top sunning area too. It is totally private, with a private entrance and you really do feel secluded from everything around you. The amenities are top notch and the resort service is great too.

The beach is just a few minutes walk as is the marina. Yes if you head to the marina and down town you'll meet some vendors and sales people, but the majority of them are friendly and we actually started to recognize and joke with one another after a few days. The beach is spectacular, and private, really private - which, if you have been to other beaches in Cabo, isn't always the case.

A short walk, or cheap taxi ride away, and you can find some amazing dining and nightlife, while during the day you have easy access to whale, boat or fishing tours.

We had a blast and haven't stopped talking about it since - so much so that we plan on rebooking very soon.

Response to a Previous Post

After reading JJ's post about Terrasol, I felt compelled to write my own review of the property. My wife and I stayed in this unit the week before JJ's visit and had a different impression. The unit is pretty much "as advertised" and in no way does it misrepresent itself. However, we did choose this location and this unit in particular because of the rooftop deck, but did not use it at all. At that time of the year, it was absolutely sweltering up there. Other times of the year, it might be quite pleasant. Also, the view from the deck is mostly of the parking lot...something to consider.

The interior of the condo was very nice at this price. Wifi signal was excellent and we enjoyed the cable tv. I have no idea what the issue about the water pressure in the shower was all about because we found it to be fine. We did experience some minor flooding as we happened to stay during a downpour from a hurricane. When we returned to our unit, there was water coming in from outside the balcony and the carpets were wet. We wiped up the excess water and everything was fine, although it did smell a little. It rarely rains in Cabo, so I have little to blame the owner for. I cannot imagine a scenario where someone would need to "bail out" the condo and I am guessing this is mostly hyperbole.

I can't recall if the unit was advertised as "beachfront" or not, but it is a 2 minute walk to the beach and this was such a non-issue, that I suspect that any complaints are someone trying to argue their way into a free stay. The property is nice (a litte dated) but more than okay for this price range. The pools were nice, Mario the bartender was great and the morning walks along the beach were spectacular.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable price, I would recommend Terrasol.

Owner's Response: Well, that completes the puzzle !! You have heard from the folks [above] that stayed in our unit before JJ, the "complainer-in-chief" - here now from other renters ...... Phil & LeAnn, who stayed with us the week after JJ ..... I am not allowed to post their email addresses, email me and I will send it to you: "Craig and Lori, we have returned home from a wonderful and relaxing 8 days in your unit with the unique private roof-top-deck at Terrasol. Thanks so much for the availability of your place....great location and great lodging!! All the staff there were great....and Ramiro fixed the washing machine too! (broken belt) We will keep you in mind for the next time we can get to that part of the world. Just wanted to thank you again and let you know that your place there is absolutely wonderful. Phil & LeAnn C"
