Property on Sebago Cove Sleeps 8
Our four-season home is located on Sebago Cove, on the northern end of Sebago Lake. Our cove is not only peaceful and quiet, but the rare boat traffic makes for more enjoyable swimming, kayaking and other water activities. We are but four miles from the causeway where you'll find local restaurants (many featuring live music), outdoor bars, a large public beach area as well as boat tours.
Our home has just undergone a full renovation. We have three bedrooms (2 queen beds, 2 twins and a trundle bed), a large, open kitchen with dishwasher and fully updated bathroom. In addition, our home features a large comfortable living area with a heart warming 10-foot wide fire place. A sun room off the living area makes a nice get-away spot or cool sleeping area for guests. Two of the bedrooms, as well as the kitchen and living area, have lovely views of the lake. There are new wood and/or marble floors throughout the home.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to prepare for your summer parties; however, if you prefer cooking by the lake while listening to the loons, an outside grill is provided. At water's edge, you'll find a private walkout sandy beach, as well as a dock to play on or hitch a boat to. There are several marinas around the corner that offer boat rentals.
For your enjoyment and convenience, we have books to read, games to play, and plenty of firewood for late night campfires under the stars. We also have an LED tv, cable, wi-fi, DVD player, and telephone service.
We also own the home across the street that has an additional two bedrooms and is on a half acre of land, great for lawn games and activities. This home is available for rent if you are looking for a total of 5 bedrooms or would like a separate space for guests. Please inquire if you are interested in both properties. Please note there are approximately 2 flights of stairs to get from the house to the water. Also Sebago lake is a Milfoil control area, which means there are efforts to remove this invasive plant from areas of the cove. Generally, this does not impact the areas in the channel and near the dock, however if you are boating you should avoid areas not near docks and the channel. If you plan on bringing a boat from out of state, please do your due diligence in obtaining proper boating permits for the state of Maine.
**Please note that we only rent out by the week during the summer. Thanks! **
